Dimash's inspiration were his idols - MJ and Jackie Chan. Music - Dimash Qudaibergen. Lyrics - English: Jordan Arakelian (Dimash's back vocalist), Kazakh rap - Dauren Shamuratov. As a teenager, Dimash got keen on taekwondo classes, to which he devoted four years. During this time, he achieved great success in eastern martial arts and became the owner of the red belt. Usually in traditional Korean taekwondo the red belt is just before gaining a first degree black belt, or first Dan. But when he had to choose between music and sports, he preferred the former. In addition, he began to experience health problems, and in order not to give up the sport completely, the guy took up swimming. Even now he enjoys visiting the pool at every convenient opportunity, believing that a professional vocalist must be a sporty and physically tough person.

Your reaction is probably my favorite to this particular video so far. Such a fun song! I believe she’s supposed to be running because she’s the mobster’s gal and, like you said, Dimash is the cocky protagonist that wants to rescue her from that situation. She’s sort of debating whether or not to risk it and go with him.

Мне кажется, Димаш перед своим днем рождения решил приколоться. И прикололся по полной. Ну это просто поржать - и больше ничего! Если не учитывать вокал , как всегда на наивысшем уровне. Красивый , наглый, избалованный, не знающий границ!! Ты ж моя прелесть! Даже мафия ничего с ним не сделает😀😀😀😀. Бедная девочка. Ну , остается одно- сдаться своей судьбе😁😁😁😁. Dimash is very influenced by MJ. (and Jackie Chan) I am also reminded of MJ in his new videos because he's telling a story. Dimash recently was asked what his favorite books to reread were and a few were MJ biographies. He said: “For as long as I can remember, I’ve always admired Michael Jackson. I listened to his songs on cassette tapes and watched every new music video with great enthusiasm. When I became an artist, I always thought that I wanted to do something Michael Jackson style, thus paying tribute to his memory. And I’m very happy that my dream came true when we released ‘Be With Me’.

With this video clip Dimash is succeeding on MTV USA every week. Video recorded in Almaty, Kazakhstan, at the Royal Tulip Hotel. Dimash pays tribute to Michael Jackson and Jackie Chan whom he has admired since childhood. He practiced Taekwondo for several years until he reached a red belt. He raps in Kassak, his mother tongue. I like your reaction, but Dimash has never been and will never be "like Michael Jackson" or "like Someone else." He is absolutely unique in his voice and huge vocal abilities, which allows him to sing in almost all musical genres, not just pop, and any styles and rhythms of musical accompaniment, fortunately, cannot be monopolized and forever assigned to any particular singer (even legendary), so any attempts to label Dimash with "like ..." are simply ridiculous.

Michael Jackson is my frame of reference to relate to his performance. That’s my opinion, you’re welcome to also have yours. Michael Jackson is clearly his inspiration so not sure why it’s wrong to compare Dimash to the greatest of all time. Calm down
