Great reaction. Dimash was 22 when he was on The Singer. A show for only professional singers.he was invited over as a wildcard.also he was the first to sing no one knew him or what he sounded like. The next day when he went to go outside they told him he needed bodyguards! Dimash had gotten over 600 million likes on China’s youtube overnight! And the rest is history.in case you are thinking he won the show I’ll tell you No he didn’t only because it was against their rules for a foreigner to win.they changed the rules for the next year and Jesse J won. But that is ok he won hearts all over the world.

The whole show was above the level of our American Idol/Voice shows. All the contestants were established professionals who had fans in the audience to vote for them. Because Dimash was brought in as the Wild Card Contestant from Kazakhstan, they didn't know what to expect and put him first in the line up. Bwahahahaha!

I am a fan from Utah USA and I have read a good amount of your comments so I won’t repeat any of them but I will just say that the fans of Dimash are very loyal and supportive and wish him the very best. When you react to future videos, be sure to keep your reactions real and ignore any fans that tell you to “not interrupt the video too much“. What ever your reactions are, if you hold back and do not share them with us then you are defeating the purpose of being a first time reactor. I recently filmed myself reacting to a brand new video of his and I made a fool of myself. But I didn’t care. It was authentic and real. If any fans or, Dimash calls us his dears, are negative about you interrupting your viewing with your comments or stopping the video to comment, just ignore them Or remind them and a very sweet way that if they want to hear him uninterrupted they can go to his KZbin channel. You are in for the ride of your life. This video is the perfect one for a first time reactor but as has been mentioned it is over three years old. Dimash has shocked us with dozens more videos, covers and originals especially from his collaboration with the famous Russian composer and record producer, Igor Krutoy. As time goes on, you will notice a bald gentleman at the piano who came out of his retirement last year to work specifically with Dimash and his amazing unending talent. That is Igor. He is actually more wealthy and well known worldwide than our United States treasure, David Foster. You will learn a lot from his dears as time goes on and be overwhelmed with their knowledge and love for him and their unending support. Dimash Kudaibergen is the greatest singer performer that the world has produced. He promotes his country, Kazakhstan, often with a lot of love and devotion for it and they all agree that he is the best thing that has come from this country to spread goodwill and tourist traffic to them. Most Of his concerts in the past, pre-COVID-19, could boast of fans from 40 to 60 countries flying from all over the world to see him in person. I personally flew from Utah to New York in December to see him at his Barclays concert. You have just witnessed the most talented vocalist known to mankind in my opinion. Just go to his official KZbin channel Dimash Qudaibergen and watch from this point forward this was his first performance on the Chinese show "Singer" from 2017 he was 22 years old. He is now 27 and has done so many things since. He is a world renowned vocalist. You cannot call Dimash just a singer. You will see. Just watch everything he has done. He is an exceptional talent! Your life will never be the same. He has a lot of pop songs in English as well that are more recent.

I know how you love Dimash and the many songs you have reacted to by Dimash ( deservedly so ) who I discovered when he first participated in the singer competition and now -like millions of others -consider him the best male pop-op vocalist in the world ( I coined the word pop-op) I hope you don’t mind me introducing you to a vocalist who I consider when it comes to purely heartwrenching / heartwarming emotionally impactful love / love lost ballads with pure recognizable vibrato as Dimash’s equal. I am hoping my 2 song sampling will prompt you to continue to explore this amazing ballad vocalist and perhaps someday publicly react to a few more of his over 40 live performance songs from his legendary concert appearances. His name is “Park Hyoshin” and he is a living legend with millions of followers worldwide. He’s 39 years old from Korea and once he announces an upcoming concert ( usually every 2 years and he prepare for each concert for over a year) , it is SOLD OUT SRO in less than 15 minutes. ( 50,000 screaming fans). His concerts are legendary in terms of length ( 3 to 4 hours or more of non-stop singing). Let me offer a sampling of just 2 songs -one of his heartwrencing ones that leaves me in tears and almost every time “Park Hyoshin” sings it, he gets so emotionally involved himself that he ends up in tears and on one occasion could not finish it if it wasn’t for his fans cheering him on. The other song is a heartwarming one which I hope you react to first. It’s from his 2015 “ Happy Together” concert and is titled “ it’s you” ( click the 4:00 version with English [ENG] Subtitles [SUB] filmed by a fancam. There are no official versions ( other than the MV which perhaps you may chose to listen to later) so i thank my lucky stars or this magnificent emotionally impactful ethereal blissful live performance song would have been lost forever. So please youtube “ It’s You” and be prepared to be transported to the celestial realm when he nails the high notes. Then KZbin “ Wildflower” ( click the one where he has dyed blond hair, is seated and wearing a colorful Blazer. ) He’s performed this several times and each time he cries at the end of the performances and one time could not even complete the song if it wasn’t for the audience cheering him on. The song relates to a friends suicide and a period of his life when his manager stole his $$$. It’s a bad period that he overcame and blossomed despite the pain. If you want to hear good breath control watch sinful passion, he does a 23 second note with loads of runs. Every song Dimash sings he nails it and sounds better and different in each song. He has 7 octaves although my opinion he’s has a 100. He’ll blow you away and he is the nicest guy, loads of charity work. All the flowers he receives he takes to old folks homes or hospitals. You will be one of us dears before you know it. Dimash calls his fans his dears. He sings 12 languages and plays many instruments, he writes songs, he has a masters degree in music too. Love your reaction!! You have good musical base knowledge too which I appreciate. So this IS a musical competition but not like one you are used too. This competition in China is for primarily for famous Chinese singers who have an established fan base. However, Dimash here was not Chinese. He didn't even speak the language. He was a compete unknown and was just 22 years old. This was his first performance on the show. Those competitors and that audience had no idea what he could do and he blew everyone away. After this performance aired 10 days later, he was an instant sensation in China. His performance got over 600 million views. They told him that he had to now have body guards where ever he went. In fact he went to a shopping bazaar two days later and people were crowding around him wanting to take pictures and to shake his hand. He couldn't hardly move through the crowd even though he had body guards with him. He loved every minute of it tho. You'll come to find that Dimash really loves his fans and appreciates them. This show and this performance in particular launched him into stardom with a world wide fan base. He did something like 14 performances on this show and then went on to Conquer all of China and Russia. This was only 3 years ago but he's come a long way from there and he's just getting started. Welcome to the world of Dimash. Best singer on the planet! You’ve barely scratched the surface of what he can do. He is from Kazakhstan and this was a singing competition in China. The other competitors were all Chinese and famous singers. He was unknown in China and became an overnight sensation. This was in 2017 when he was just 22. He’s even better now! Classically trained since the age of 5 he sings all genres of music. Plays umpteen instruments, sings in 12 languages and composes songs. He’s well known in Asia and Russia and is slowly making a name for himself around the world. He has a massive worldwide fan base and has held concerts in Europe, Asia and the US. Next stop in this competition is Opera 2. Alternatively you could skip a couple of years and view Sinful Passion which shows his full range. First Dimash lesson over! It is from the musical “Starmania”, music by Michel Berger and lyrics by Luc Plamondon. They call it a Rock Opera. Anyway, It is an incredible hommage to have Dimash singing this song. And although I have heard many fantastic singers do a spectacular and emotional rendition of it, Dimash’s is by far the best version. Lots of training, lots of hard work. He takes music seriously. I love your reaction! I’ve been listening to Dimash now for 7 months, I’ve listened to SOS AT LEAST 200 times and never get tired of it! You will be addicted to his beautiful voice, and the tones that only he can do! Welcome! He just now turned 26, I believe he was 24 here, I might be wrong. He didn’t win because he was the only contestant that wasn’t Chinese and they couldn’t give him first place! That would have been disgraceful!

This performance in 2017 is the result of an amazing natural voice, 2 professional singer parents and 17 years of hard training. The scary thing is it has been 3 years and he's gotten noticeably better. His performance of this same song just one year later at the Slavic Bazaar is a little better than this one. Oh, The song is SOS as in S.O.S. which is a call for help, morse code short for Save Our Ship. So it is "SOS d'un terrien en ditresse" or "S.O.S. from an earthling in distress". So he is a Kazakh in China singing in French!

He his human but he is also an angel. I call him the Vocal Contortionist because he can do things with his voice that should not be humanly possible, escpecially for a male. He works VERY hard for that ability but the gift is in the way he emotes when he sings, he needs you to feel what he feels when he sings. The world is in turmoil right now, but in all the corners of that world people are talking about and loving this young man.
