Dimash and family are proud of their country and culture and history. He has talked about how his parents and grandparents taught him old Kazakh traditions, stories and folk songs from early childhood and said that every child is expected to be able to play the Dombra, and other traditional instruments. His mother and father are not only popular singers in Kazakhstan, but are also both deeply involved in various committees and boards addressing social and cultural development, so I guess it's not surprising that Dimash and his colleagues are developing ways to bring old and new artistic forms together into performances which honour his culture and share it with the rest of the world.

I'd forgotten how much I like this song. I actually like his ethnic, melodic songs that don't have the huge fireworks of his range more than some of the other things he can do. The variety is important and impressive, but these songs are beautiful.

Thank you for reactions & great insights:) This song has a sacred feel. So beautiful and tender, indeed like a lullaby. Actually, my 4-year old insists to hear "Atameken" - as she calls this song - every night. The whole year now, but we never get tired to this. I love Dimash's versatility and enjoy his powerful vocals and fireworks of course. But the subtle mastery Dimash shows here impresses me even more. This song is perfection.

During the pandemic, DiMASH had a Digital Show in January 2021. This is one of the folk songs he did. Beautifully done with the explosion of Spring poppies and the snow covered mountains to set the feeling. Nice to see you. ❤️🙏🕊

Yes it was a long time !! This song is just beautiful I love the reaction of your friend even though you didnt let him speak or feel his entire feelings when you cut the song every 5 seconds. He is a good character. He didnt say about and try to follow the emotion of the song indeed. He try to not be in conflict opinion with you, but anyway deliver his own opinion after the talk you had and the polite discussion. But we are intererested by his opinion, if you invite him to react in front of the camera. I say it because you did it every time with him. It is a mesmerizing Song, so beautiful. This song "Amanat" is a song previously sung by B.Shukenov. Dimash cover/interpretation of Sinful Passion is also a song originating with B.Shukenov & A'Studio. Dimash has stated that B.Shukenov is one of his (Kazakh) favorite singers and in many interviews, he has paid tribute to another song by B. Shukenov called "Mirage World".
