Stranger was composed for Dimash by Igor Krutoy and is in English. One of his newest songs El Amor en Ti was composed by Dimash it is in Spanish. He did the OST for China’s Power Ranger movie. If you want a cheeky and fun song Be with Me composed by Dimash is unique. I would suggest the MV for that. Story of one sky is a song that took him 3 years to complete with the MV. Which speaks to his desire to see a world without war. There really are no bad choices. Dimash offers something for everyone.

FYI, in this song, the lowest note is not the lowest Dimash can hit, neither the highest, the highest. Dimash is in a category of his own in terms of voice control, technique etc... but he is also a consummate performer. If you want to hear the whole shebang of his abilities, you must react to one of his latest composition MV called "The Story of One Sky". Also, Dimash is VERY well known around the world and a huge celebrity in many countries. Whenever he goes on tour, his fans fly in from over 60 countries to attend his performances. When his first album came out in China, it went platinum within 37 seconds and 5 times more before the day was over. Dimash has not (yet) signed up with the American musical industry because he wants to retain full control of his work. It would seem David Forster and Dimash are currently working on something but the future will tell what it is.

I hope a US tour happens. Seeing him in person would be a bucket list item. I've seen many "reactions" to Dimash and it's interesting; they will rave about him and his technical skill, etc., but his performance level and stage command is also unsurpassed. Further, I don't know that I've heard any of them say this categorically, but I will; he's simply the best vocalist on the planet.

Who is Dimash? Beginning his singing career at age 5, his range extends from the top of the bass register to the highest notes of the coloratura soprano and whistle register. His first digital music album "ID" went platinum in only 37 seconds after release, and 3x platinum in only one hour, and 5x platinum in only one day on Chinese music platforms In December 2019, he made his US debut in New York at the Barclays Center. Dears (those he calls his fans) traveled from 68 different countries, 43 states & 2 US territories, and was sold out. At age five Dimash was accepted into the most distinguished music academy in his country. Now writing his Doctoral thesis for a PhD in Musicology/ Composing, received all his degrees with honors while simultaneously filling arenas and maintaining his performing career, a first! Dimash is world renowned, he won’t sign a contract with the west because he wants control over what he sings from opera, to pop, to rock (he’s an incredible rock singer), to folk, to rap. He has been working on a new project with David Foster in LA recently, we don’t know what it is yet! He sings in 13 languages and he sings in English a lot. His most amazing original song in English imo is Stranger where he sings F in 5 different octaves. My favourite performance is the premier of this song at New Wave 2021. You won’t believe how much better he is today, than what you just watched!!! The performance of SOS you just watched is not even his best performance of that song, imo!

He's also an incredibly skilled composer with a master's degree in composition. His own compositions like War and Peace, The Story of One Sky, El Amor En Ti and his latest Omir (meaning Life, where he strips it back to a simplicity and rawness not heard from him before) are incredible works and prove that what he composes for himself is far better than the many songs written especially for him. To answer your question about what he's doing now? He moved to the US in March and is currently working on a new album with the help of Walter Afanasieff, Nathan Wang and David Foster. He's currently writing and recording the soundtrack for the latest Jackie Chan movie and is in China for the next month where his last post on Instagram was from Jackie's recording studio in Beijing.

And as it's apparently all about the music industry it's probably necessary that he gets some experience of that from the west too. He's got a house in LA and most of his recent posts have been from there, or Walter Afanasieff's home or from the beach in Santa Monica.

If you want to see the epitome of balanced singer, check out Dimash's own composition "The Story of One Sky". (Bonus: it's in English). He also wrote the screenplay for the MV. What you just viewed (S.O.S.) is a drop in a vast ocean of talent. Not only does he have range, but his musicality is spot on, his dynamics are AMAZING and his ability to make you feel the song, regardless of language sung, can turn me into a puddle of good and reduce me to tears. He sings in 15 different languages. He directs, he acts and plays multiple instruments. He sings in genres from opera to rap and often combines them in unexpected ways. You never know what he will come up with next and has managed to surprise me in some way with every new song since this performance in 2017. His voice has IMPROVED by leaps and bounds and he has several years until his voice reaches maturity, he is only 29 now. (22 for this performance of S.O.S.) Dimash's range is 6 octaves and 8 semitones, with the highest note recorded live being a D8. That note is off the piano, and he sustained it for several seconds, with what I think I recognized as vibrato. It literally sounded like a kettle whistle. Not the type of note you'd want in a song very often, hence why you don't hear it used very much. He sometimes does do a whistle tone during his performance of the Diva Dance, to ENHANCE to improve on the performance on the blue alien lady of The 5th Element (with Bruce Willis)! He's been training his voice AND performance every day since the age of 5, and used that training to sing in over a dozen languages and sing in several genres (Opera, Classical, Pop, Rock, Traditional Ethnic, Rap). You guys owe it to yourselves to go down this rabbit hole as Dimash is considered the best vocalist of his generation, and by the time he's done he will have set a new standard of vocal technical prowess. Oh, did I forget to mention he's incredibly humble and sweet? He's what I call an anti-Diva, and we dears love him most for that!

Dimash is the best singer in the world, and popular world-wide. He decided to go his own way and be independent, which does affect how well-known he is especially in America. I would recommend "Stranger" next, and you'll see more of his range and how he handles a rock style song.

DIMASH can sing and does sing in many genres of music. More than a singer, he is a composer, actor, dancer, multi-instrumentalist, his voice now is deeper yet maintains the upper range also. He is a great humanitarian, and all around nice guy, with a worldwide legion of fans in the tens of millions. German tv selected him as the genius in the music field due to his innovations in music and his management of his music company DIMASHALI. This video you just wached of DIMASH took place in China and overnight he was a star when 600 million people went on line and shut down the interent in China trying to find out about him. Next day he woke up with bodyguards assigned to him. He is not known as well as he should be in the US, but his concert in Dec. 2019 in the US was a sell out, more people attended his concert, than the previous concert of Beyonce.

@@andreso7070 "Give me your Love" a song written by DIMASH performed at NYC Dec.2019 shows him dancing with one of his dancers named Karina. There also is a salute to Michael Jackson where he dances and does the moonwalk also. Chinese Actor Jackie Chan , gave some dance moves and DIMASH was a willing pupil, he helped to improve DIMASH's dancing. Be With Me on his digital show has him dancing with 2 women. Not many dears recommend these videos as they are jealous of Dimash sensual dancing with these women. DIMASh even apologized to the dears as he knew they would be jealous.

Video linked below. The only mainstream genres I haven't heard Dimash sing are country, punk and heavy metal. At the end of his NYC concert, he performed his single, Screaming. A bit before that, he did some R&B runs (melisma). Then he starts the song with jazz scatting. In the middle of the song, he raps. Then when runs into the audience, he scats some more. Thanks for your reaction guys! Dimash is trained in both classic and contemporary music. He plays several instruments, but mainly piano and he compose his own music. His carisma and stage presence are impressive. But about all, Dimash has mastered his gorgeous voice in all his registers and textures to sing straight to your soul. He's comparable to none. This video is in the talent TV show The singer (2017) in China. He was only 22 and there are many songs to react to in this program, like Adagio or Queen's The show must go on, both in (a not so perfect) English and mind-blowing! But brace yourselves, now he's much better! Try Stranger (2021) Other songs - Sinful Passion, Olimpico, Across Endless Dimensions, even a Power Rangers' song version . Excelente reacción. DIMASH no es un cantante comercial. Su música es neoclásica CROSSOVER, dicho por él. Se ha dado a conocer a través de los concursos, videos, sus fans DEARS, como nos llama él, después de SOS en el concurso en China, Dimash no pertenece al fuerte de los cantantes, su padre es el productor. La mayoría de su música, letras,su interpretaciónes, su voz su rango, su técnica es para gente que tenga mucha sensibilidad. He's currently in contact with David Foster. If you'd like to hear his current work, "Stranger" would be a good one. But then again, he is doing things that even outlevels that already. He is improving and surprising everybody with each new performance. You haven't heard anything yet, this was just a little warming up for him 😂 And guys, just because the US doesn't know him doesn't mean that he is not world famous. China has quite some population as well 😜 Experiencing a live concert of Dimash goes beyond everything, it's truly mindblowing to see him running on stage and do 4 hour concerts without his voice getting less or him getting tired 😅

I wanted to say that he sings every style - full opera, rap, pop, jazz, EDM, vocal fry, whistle, all supported by either bass, tenor, alto or soprano voice perfectly pitched and intonated. He literally has every possible voice skill set going, and all at insane levels of proficiency. I would recommend El Amour En Ti, Stranger (in English) or Olympico. All will astonish even more. I wanted to add, he’s incredibly well known all over the world with fan clubs in 150ish countries. The only market that won’t let him become known in is the US. He has far too much musicality, is far too good in skill to easily be viral. He doesn’t do anything trivially. But most importantly he will not sign with any production company. He’s fiercely independent and won’t be controlled by anyone. He has his own company called DimashAli Creative Centre, and the production values there are second to none.

It is worth mentioning as, you think it is possible that not singing in English somehow, has an effect on worldwide popularity, though don't be misled - his live concerts attract Dears from as many as 70 countries every time. Dimash has beautiful, heart-rending and mind-blowing songs in ALL genres in English, in addition to at least twelve other languages. Be overly impressed with these songs in English: "Hello", "The Show Must Go On", "Adagio", "All By Myself", "Stranger", "Screaming" "My Heart Will Go On" and there are others!! This song is Dimash's calling card, and a fantastic introduction to his singing abilities. It is not, however, the full scope of his abilities. In my opinion, the song that showcases the majority of his talent is The Story of One Sky. It is not only an incredibly intense song, but the accompanying video is a powerful visual experience that everyone needs to experience. It's a true masterpiece.

You've only scratched the surface of Dimash's capabilities. His range in songs I've heard goes from B2 to D8 (off the piano and higher than Mariah Carey). He sang the Alien pop opera song from Fifth Element. The song Stranger was written exclusively for him (covers nearly five octaves). Sings in 12 languages, plays multiple instruments. His rendition of Michael Jackson's song, Billie Jean was flawless. He sings all genres. Recommend you review Sinful Passion and be prepared to be blown away. Ogni Petra he sings pop opera as both male and female solo artist. His rendition of "Hello" will blow you away and there are many more. No one can touch his capabilities.

I discovered Dimash in 2017 when this video went viral and I have spent the last six-plus years immersing myself in everything he has ever sung, danced or acted in. I have led a long, music obsessed life, but once Dimash entered it all the most important music of my life became far less important. There is no one else like him, nor as talented, nor as vocally stunning and creative. These days it's all Dimash, all the time. I concur with those who suggest you check out "Stranger," (the original New Wave performance) sooner rather than later. It will give you an even better idea of his vocal range.

Gentlemen.. Look outside America, UK and Europe for the best singers now. We have sat on our Laurels. There is Dimash, Hua Chenyu (Rock, Rap, Reggae, Folk, Pop, SynthPop, Electronic, Broadway, Ballads....), KZ Tandingan, Cakra Khan, Marcelito Pomoy, Jane Zhang, Sohyang, Vitas, Polina Gagarina.... and on and on. There are videos of ordinary public from Philippines singing Karaoke in shopping malls, and they are spectacular. We sold out for Hip Hop, Rap and Helium voiced females. In fact watch Jessie J on Chinese show "Singer 2018". Never heard her sound better. The Music team they surround singers with, just got superb performances out of the singers. Thank you for discovering Dimash and welcome to a beautiful world of music. Dimash is a 29-years old singer from Kazakhstan and believe me, you’ve seen nothing at all. In my opinion you have discovered the best singer in the world. He has perfect pitch and currently has a vocal range of 6 octaves. Not in one song (mostly anyway😅). However, if you include the notes he has sung live in his concerts so far, you get almost 8 octaves (7.7 from vocal fry C1 (B0) to the whistle register D8; this note is no longer on the piano). At least that's what he's shown us so far. And that in all registers. His voice is the result not only of his God-given talent, but also of his almost 25 years of hard daily training. From the age of 5 he attended music school in his hometown of Aktobe. He plays several instruments like piano, dombra (a kazach instrument), drums, marimba and more. He has classical as well as contemporary vocal training and sings in different genres from opera to pop, jazz, Kazakh folk, ballads and he even raps a bit. And often he skillfully mixes several genres in one song. Mainly classic and pop, so he created a new crossover genre. And meanwhile in more than 10 languages. The latest songs (from Tokyo Jazz Festival in November 2021) are Ikanaide in Japanese and at his concert in Almaty on September 23, 2022 he sang a new song in Spanish (about 7 languages in one concert!). And at his concert in Yerevan on April 29, 2023, he sang an Armenian folk song for the first time (it has to be about 15 or 16 languages so far). He sings no mainstream and is a completely independent artist. He is managed by his father Kanat, who founded his own company "DimashAli Creative Center". The logo can be seen at the beginning of many of Dimash's videos. Maybe that’s the reason you never heard of him yet. He doesn’t sell his soul to a music label. He doesn’t want to be dictated by money when he has to sing what, when, where and how. Many of my favorite songs are in his native tongue. He is a nice, intelligent, respectful and humble person. Believe it or not but he really gets better and better. Every time you think you know him and his art, you realize you are so wrong. He's very spiritual and thankful for the gift God has given him. But he also works very hard to constantly improve his vocal skills. He said in an interview that he trains at least 3 hours every day, if necessary, it can be 10 hours to prepare for a concert. He loves swimming and also a lot under water. Maybe that's why he has this large lung capacity to hold the notes as long as he does. He's a singer you can't put in any box. He sings almost every genre there is. Every time you watch a video, expect the unexpected. Even the covers he sings he makes his own and brings elements into the song that you would never expect. Don't be surprised if you get suggestions for songs you may have already seen. Dimash has different versions of many of the same songs. They are all worth seeing. Dimash Qudaibergen was age 22 in this video. This is like a lite appetizer of his skills. Now with a PhD in Musicology, Dr. Qudaibergen is 29. He began his classical vocal training at age 5 when he was enrolled in Kazakhstan's premier children's music school. He trained full time until age 25 with his vocal coach in Kazakhstan. He now trains abroad. He is currently living in Las Angeles studying at the L.A. campus of the New York School of Fine Arts majoring in Film Directing. He was raised to be fluent in both Kazak and Russian. He is fair with his English and Mandarin Chinese. He actually does have a 7+ octave range. Dimash es muy diferente, canta para hacer feliz al público, no por fama, tiene otra cultura y es muy tradicional, siempre va a hacer lo que siente, él se preocupa de todo su espectáculo, cada detalle, así sea para poco público, no me gustaría que lo contaminen con la fiebre de la fama, como le ha pasado a muchos interpretes, es un excelente ser humano, hijo, hermano y nieto, un ejemplo y protege mucho su tradición, gracias por la reacción.

If you want a power demonstration of his lower registry, and some other qualities I recommend “Love is like a dream”. I also recommend “Contessa and Diva Dance” the last one is very fun. Diva dance is from the movie Fifth Element, and was written for an alien. In the movie, parts of the song was “sung” by a computer, because it was impossible to be performed by a human. Several have tried and been somewhat successful, but Dimash is insane. Dimash sings in several languages. I have lost count by now. I think it’s 11 or 12? He’s from Kazakhstan, and I know he sings Chinese, French, Italian, Russian, English to mention a few. He’s classically trained from the age of 5, his mother is an opera singer and his father is a composer. 😊

Dimash no es solo voz. Es el cruce de todo. ¡Es único! Tiene un rango vocal, nunca antes visto. ¡Dios nos habla a través de él! Me lleva a pensar en la voz de Dimash y el elemento terapéutico que supuestamente tiene en muchas personas. A menudo he comentado sobre la capacidad de Dimash para transmitir emociones profundas a través de su voz (incluso cuando existen barreras del idioma, Dimash parece capaz de transmitir el sentimiento vocalmente). Por los videos que he visto y los artículos que he leído, Dimash es un ser humano muy enfocado (¡obviamente talentoso!), que tiene un profundo sentido de conexión con las cosas simples de la vida: familia, fe, belleza, niños, amistades y respeto. (No digo que estas sean las únicas cosas que valora, pero parecen ser recurrentes). Dimash suele ser introspectivo, pero parece realmente una persona feliz, a pesar de algunas pérdidas bastante devastadoras en el camino. Su perspectiva me ha hecho preguntarme si es el sentido innato de conectividad de Dimash lo que le permite mantenerse positivo y también le permite ser un narrador vocal/musical tan poderoso. Un poco de alimento interesante para el pensamiento…Dimash es el mejor vocalista de todos los tiempos, aún no hay ningún registro que demuestre lo contrario, artista independiente, es cantante, compositor, arreglista, productor, multiinstrumentista... tiene formación clásica y contemporánea, estudia música desde los 5 años, ahora tiene 29, tiene una maestría en composición y está terminando su doctorado en musicología, canta en más de 14 idiomas y en varios estilos... camina cómodamente por todos los registros vocales; Bajo, Barítono, Tenor, Contratenor, Soprano...su universo musical es muy amplio y de altísima calidad.
