You’ve seen nothing yet, sos is only a warm up song for Dimash. He takes the flowers to old folks homes or hospitals and hands them out to the patients after every performance. He sings in 15 languages, has a 7/8 octave range, plays multiple instruments, sings from rap to opera and is the loveliest most humble young man on earth. He is also THE best singer/performer on this planet ever, male or female. Welcome to our world of Dimash. 2 songs you need to check out now is stranger and ave Maria both from new wave 2021. Absolutely opposite of each other but it will give you a little more of a look at his abilitys. Believe me when I say sos is his favourite song and beautiful but it’s no where near his highest or lowest notes and every single note he sings is pitch oerfect

Totally agree. I was going to suggest both "Stranger" (for the massive range it shows) and "Ave Maria" (because I can't hear it without tearing up). They're two of my favorites, despite the variety of songs in his portfolio that also show off his capabilities. Honestly though, everything Igor Krutoy has composed with Dimash singing is amazing. John, it's worth checking out his entire ARNAU concert as well (whether that's reactions or just on your own time, as it's a LONG watch), as it gives a great overview of the range of styles Dimash can perform and how he often brings in Kazakh instrumentation.

The song originated in a French-Canadian rock opera in the '70s. Dimash discovered it as a 13 year old in 2007 when Gregory Lemarchal, a contestant on a French talent show, sang it shortly before dying at the age of 23. Gregory had cystic fibrosis but managed to win the show in spite of having to act, dance and sing with only 25 percent of his lung capacity. His performances of that song are quite emotional and Dimash, good hearted, kind soul that he is, empathized and began singing the song himself. Then, a few years ago, Dimash's good friend, fellow Kazakh citizen and champion Olympic figure skater, Denis Ten, was murdered at the age of 25 by a couple of guys stealing items off his car. So Dimash sings it in tribute to both Gregory and Denis, and with an understandable amount of passion every time.

He became famous in 2017 singing sos in a chinese talent show. A retired russian composer (Igor Krutoy) heard him and understood there were very few song that could showcase all of his talents so he began to compose only for Dimash. All of these songs are absolutely incredeble. If there is a bald man at the piano on stage, that is Igor Krutoy. Stranger, Olimpico, Ave Maria, Love is like a dream, The love of tired swans, Know, Mmell Hyde, etc. Anyone of these are exeptional. then Dimash himself is a composer, War and Peace, Be with me, etc. Hope to see you soon, big hug from Uruguay!

This song was one of the top 5 hardest songs to sing. He isn't under contract to anyone, doesn't need it. He sings in 13 different languages, plays 8 different instruments, sings 7 octaves, wrote 2 songs, War and Peace also Unforgettable Day where he hits a D8. Almost all his songs he sings are live performances. Been studying music since the age of 5. Very humble , loves his Dears, family. Just wants to perform and wants his audience to enjoy the music. He usually has a surprise with each song. He lives the songs he sings. A very talented man. Enjoyed your reaction.

OMG John! You finally heard Dimash. There is the time before you heard him and your world is now changed after hearing the best voice of our time. Some other performances to react to would be sinful passion, Stranger, Ikanaide (Tokyo jazz festival) Daybreak from his Bastau concert, Be with me MV. It doesn’t matter that you don’t know what he’s saying. His voice will sear your soul. he sings songs in 12 languages has been training since he was 5, has several advanced degrees in music. Enjoy!

I love watching people fall in love with him from this performance. I cried the first like 25 times. The lyrics are a gut punch too.

Dimash is amazingly talented and you will fall into the blackhole of his talents. Just when you think you've seen everything he can do, he throws in something unexpected. All this talent and he remains humble. While this is a cover, he has written & composed his own music. Dimash is a seriously talented & hardworking individual and I'd love to see you explore more of his music.

Ahhh, you’ve found our Dimash, finally. This is a cover and he has so many more songs to discover & that is nothing. He does sing in 14 different languages, songwriter and a multi instrumentalist. Since Dears (fans) have given you a list then I won’t. I have been following your kpop reactions. ❤
