Dimash does not compete anymore, he will attend as a judge or guest performer. He always gives gratitude to his parents for their support. He loves music and know he is fortunate that as he puts it his profession and his hobby are the same thing...music.

Dimash was not wanting to be in Eurovision. There was a rumour in Russia to have him sing for them. Dimash said if he was ever going to be in Eurovision it would be as a guest not a competitor and then only for Kazakhstan. Dimash has had a very happy life and he chose to become a singer at 4/5 years old and he works hard at it for the past 23 years. Don't worry he loves what he does and us a very down to earth simple guy who loves to compose, produce, direct, act, and generally make and live music. He is highly educated and is at present a PhD student in Musicology. He is a master, a genius, a prodigy a once in a hundred years talent. Yes, Dimash is the Man 🥰💖

I keep telling you, you haven`t heard his whistle notes yet :) Trust me :) He can handle 6th octave in head voice + flageolet (connected mechanism, higher than head voice - but different than whistle, which is disconnected mechanism). Childhood - happy childhood, raised by great parents, AND grandparents (a kazakh tradition for the first-born child) ; He grew up surrounded by music, mother soprano, father singer and producer. He naturally manifested interest in music, so they took him to vocal+piano school at age 5. All he cared about was music, and he would often rehearse at all hours of the day, and sometimes at night, waking the other family members up 😂 And the soprano register, he practiced that on his own - his teacher didn`t really encourage it, "because it`s not customary in classical training". And the teacher, when coming to school, would routinely catch Dimash rehearsing soprano arias in secret, hidden in a classroom upstairs 😁 Eurovision - Dimash is done with competitions, he wants to focus on creating music for his already huge fan base. Last competition was US World`s Best 2019 - to get exposure in the US - but they lied to him when he signed the contract : he asked if there would be any children in the competition, they said no, and in the final rounds they added children. He retired to let the children move forward (in his culture, adults support children, they don`t compete with them) - but the judges insulted his intentions and lied saying "you knew what you were getting into". Also, production cut all the songs extremely short before airing, and a kazakh song he performed, wishing to promote his culture, was cut out completely. Bitter experience overall. But, later that year, they all looked stupid, when he sold out Barclays Center Arena in New York, and fans from 54 countries and 41 US states came to see him live

Thanks for the inside info about Dimash’s practicing his higher register. It has served him well. As an American, I was deeply ashamed at how World’s Best judges treated him. Ru Paul was horrid. Dimash stood by his principles in front of a bunch of Industry hacks who generally have none....nor the talent to judge Dimash.

Hej, tu Dear od 2017 roku :) Z Dimashem to jest taka sprawa, że uczył się muzyki i śpiewu odkąd skończył 5 lat. Dimash mówi, że od zawsze pragnął mieć swoją publiczność i występować na scenie, więc raczej nikt tego na nim nie wymusił. Zresztą Dimash jak chce potrafi tupnąć nogą, to on zdecydował, że zaśpiewa SOS podczas konkursu w Chinach i to on zdecydował o odejściu z The World's Best w USA i rezygnacji z 1 mln $ nagrody, bo kazali mu konkurować z dziećmi. Poza tym on założył, że nie będzie występował do starości, tylko jak już nie będzie mógł zostanie wykładowcą. Cieszę się, że poszerzasz,horyzonty.
