Top Secret is the underrated ZAZ movie with a devoted cult following. It is Val Kilmer’s film debut and also features Omar Sharif and Peter Cushing. It’s a Cold War spy movie spoof. A major plot point requires a passing familiarity with Blue Lagoon, otherwise it pretty much stands on its own.

The "sex involving food stuff" scene is a parody of 9 1/2 weeks, a very famous hit movie from the late 80s, with Mickey Rourke (then a hearthtrob) and Kim Bassinger (then considered the ultimate Hollywood bombshell). I loved this movie when I was a kid, and still do. Thanks so much for reacting to it! Just one note/nitpick: The weird and gross words that Washout's using at the 21:00 mark probably aren't call signs. Rather, they're a parody of the U.S. military alphabet. Since so many English letters have similar sounding names, speaking them as is over the radio can be confusing. To avoid that, the military instead uses a distinctive word that starts with each letter (alpha for A, bravo for B, charlie for C, etc). This, like just about everything else in the Navy, gets mined for jokes in "Hot Shots!"
