The flute is called 'sybyzgy', a Kazakh musical instrument. Btw, Dimash sang 'I love you' in English, Chinese and Kazakh ('Men seni suiemin' in the end of the song) languages, addressing, I assume, to all his English-, Chinese-, and Kazakh-speaking fans.

His ethereal chants remind me of calling all the angels and moves me emotionally like no other. Dimash produced this performance and is a perfect mix of the East and West. Dimash has been taking classes in English and mandarin....btw, this was his arrangement.... Jessie J was performing next and there's a clip showing her backstage waiting her turn and watching his performance in the monitors and she was amazed (like we all).....the final episode of the Singer is a Gala held for charity and show producers invite different artists to help....of course Dimash has turned like an ambassador of the show and was invited along with LION band, Tia Ray and Biucheng from Singer 2017.....and that last "hello" run was a 17 seconds run...amazing

Dimash walks among places no one else can even see! On the "Reaction" videos, we hear over and over from the hosts "I don't even know what to say". С его безупречным слухом он будет скоро шпарить на вашем языке - дайте время! Если он захочет!!! ??? Т.к. я знаю людей, которые знают английский в совершенстве, но не считают нужным убирать акцент в принципе. Во время пения пока ему трудно следить за произношением! Время! И только время! Будет Вам все! А в остальном, это лучшая реакция на "Hello", a я просмотрела все реакции на эту песню к данному времени! Согласна, что он лучший певец на планете. А один (другой) "реакционер" сказал, что Димаш не лучший, а ЕДИНСТВЕННЫЙ ТАКОЙ певец на планете! Полностью agree!!! Многие почему-то считают, что в песню привнесена индийская манера исполнения, не могу согласиться, т.к. здесь явно превалируют тюркские элементы + использован древний казахский инструмент - сыбызгы (подобие флейты).

I think I heard someone mention because he has Turkish roots he wanted to bring some of the Turkish style into this song. And then that kind of help me understand why the song was constructed the way it is. Loved it!!

The traditional music is Kazakh but I don't blame you it's very close to Turkish Folk music and the runs that he did are 100 % Arabian and not just Arabian but Old Folk and cultural Arabian style . I don't know if he has Turkish roots but him and his entire family are Muslims so maybe that's why he knows about the Arabian and Turkish cultures and old music .
