He is so respectful. On his birthday, he released his new composition Omir in appreciation to his fans. It shows his life and how he appreciates all he has. It shows clips of his meetings with fans and talks about not wanting to make mistakes etc. Mr. Boyd, it may be one of the most beautiful heart felt songs he has ever done because he wrote it and you can tell when he sings it that it is straight from his heart. I hope you will do it. I have seen many people in tears watching it.

@Patrick's KZbin I heard this as well, and like the claim that Vitas has banned Dimash from singing "Opera 2" I haven't seen the source of the claims that would verify either one. The only evidence I can see is the songs have never been performed again. I too would like to see verification.

What I find extremely amazing is how Dimash sings those long notes then stops and sings quietly without panting for breath. It's mind blowing. And a perfect example of his Vocalbending abilities. Hence the Vocalbender.

The only answer to how is because it's Dimash. If you want to be surprised again then listen to his brand new song Omir. Some of what he said at the end was "I love you China" as far as I could make out?

Like in many other arrangements, Dimash melds sacred music traditions of different cultures and ages into something uniquely his own. In this piece, for example, you hear Turkic throat singing - the ancient song of the steppes - creating the foundation while Dimash’s melismas soar high above it. The music of ancient cultures often used chants, overtone singing, and melismatic techniques to induce a hypnotic trance in the listener. Music, according to Sufi teaching, is an expression of the overwhelming and perfect harmony of the whole universe-and that is the secret of its amazing power to move us at the Soul level. Dimash is not only aware of the power of music to alter one’s state of consciousness, he wields this power masterfully but with great respect, using his voice, body, and instrumentation to transport the listeners to a higher plane of existence. His friend since his teenage years, Erlan Bekchurin, is a brilliant arranger and is also steeped in Kazakh folklore. Together they create magic. The flute is a traditional Qazaq instrument called a sybyzgy. Also, for those who may not already know, he sings “I love you” in three different languages. First in English, then twice in Mandarin, “wo ai ni” and at the end, in Qazaq, “men seni suyemin.” What he whispers at the very end is “fei chang gan xie” which is thank you very much in Mandarin.

Es bello esta tema!! Lionel Richie, no permitió que Dimash cantara este tema. Deberian estar agradecidos que un joven como Dimash, haga un cover como Hello, para que las nuevas generaciones conozcan este tema. Thanks for your reaction! Sadly, Dimash is not allow to sing this song anymore. The same happened to Opera 2 by Vitas. I think there are a lot of young people that knew about those singers and those 2 songs thanks to Dimash, as well as SOS and other songs that Dimash sang in the Chinese competition (where contestants could only do covers, except for one original so that the best known singer wouldn’t have advantage or the less known ones could be in disadvantage). Those singers should be grateful to Dimash instead for wide-spreading their compositions in other countries among young people. That’s what Koji Tamaki did when Di sang Ikanaide in the Tokio Kazz Featival 2021. Now people in the western world know this song. BTW he had sang it also in Chinese in the frame of the Cheneae contest since there are 2 versions of the song (same music totally different lyrics, but with an impressive real story behind). So now I have to recommend you Ikanaide Tokio Jazz Festival live streamed by Japanese cameras in a studio due to Kovid. ❤ from 🇪🇸
