Very sincere comments. This is a God send, sir. And as humble as God makes them. This young man is the best vocalist today, no one comes even close, and it's time for Americans to accept that. His voice is like a gulp of water from the cleanest mountain stream. Thank you.

@singingcat02
@singingcat02 Жыл бұрын

He can higher, he can go lower. Sinful Passion is one of his very best. You may recall the blue alien from Fifth Element. If so... you may want to watch Dimash do 'Diva Dance" from his Bastau concert. Unheard of for a real person let alone a male. If you do Sinful Passion, you will hear, base, mix, soprano and then something you will not believe. It comes with English subtitles. If you want English... he does a great cover of Lionel Richie's, 'Hello" with a twist... It is also in English.

Di's voice is the result of 20 years of dedication. 20 years of world-class training, 20 years of daily practice, 20 years of hard work. His parents are singers, so music is in his DNA, and he has the physiological advantage of long vocal cords-which is what affords him his 7-octave range-but talent and genes don't make a great singer. He's been dedicating himself to music since the age of 4 or 5, and will, no doubt, continue dedicating himself until the day he dies. I hope to one day be even half the singer he is. My love and respect for him knows no bounds. Great reaction!

Dimash is multi faceted. You can't judge him on merely 2-3 songs. All his songs are different. He can be a pop singer in one, opera singer in next, rock in another. He can even fit a few genres in multiple octaves into a single song. This song is one of the most difficult to sing on this planet. But then, most, if not all of his songs are highly challenging for any other singers to cover. Maybe some can cover them....but no one surpasses his versions.....that's the reason why vocal coaches and professional musicians consider him one of the greatest if not the greatest singer/vocalist on earth currently.

Samaltau not the best song for a first reaction. It is a beautiful song, but one to hear after you "get to know" Dimash, and his voice. I have been listening to Dimash since late 2017, and attended his sold out concert in December at Barclay's in New York. His concert in New York was beautiful, electric, fun, engaging, and ethereal. He still completely takes my breath away. Believe it or not you really haven't yet heard a whistle note from him yet. Keep listening, he will not disappoint. Thanks Mr. Harris for trying Dimash again. He's been studying since he was just a little kid. And when he performs a song or two in exhibition like this, he is completely, absolutely flawless. When he performs a long form concert, 3 hours, like he did in NYC on December 10 (I was there) of course he is human, and he will perform like a human. Sweat and tears! But his pitch is always, always perfect. Always. And his notes are like crystal. It's astounding.

He didn't use his whistle range in this song. His true whistles are in the 7th-8th octave and what you have heard here and thought was "whistle" was merely the high end of his head voice. Yes this guy is a freak of nature. When most men need to go into falsetto he can still belt effortlessly. When he finally goes into falsetto it's in the high soprano territory. Thanks for the reaction. Would you consider reacting to his "Sinful Passion" next? That's another big song with different techniques used. I'm pretty sure you will love it.

Samaltau was your first reaction? Yeah... wrong choice as the first song. You can appreciate Samaltau only after getting acquainted with Dimash's voice better. Hope that the next songs will be Sinful Passion, Love is Like a Dream, Ogni Pietra (Olympico), Passione, and, no doubt, Know!!! With these songs you will quickly get the whole range of his voice, the range of nuances, and multi-colored talent. These songs are either in Russian or in Italian - all of one Russian composer. If you want to listen to English songs, you can start with All By Myself, Hello, and Screaming.

Yours is the most intelligent and eloquent reaction to this song that I have heard. Thank you! I understand why people feel utterly stunned into silence by Dimash's performance, but you were able to gather yourself, even as you felt a bit speechless. I commend you for your thoughtful reflection.

Now, that's a reaction! ♡ S.O.S. is the best song to introduce someone new to Dimash! It showcases a lot of what he can do. He's been classically training for 20 years. Please watch more Dimash! Especially the one song that was written specifically for his voice, Olympico! ♡
