Странно, в другой версии солдат как бы передаёт свои чувства от того что происходит в первой мировой. Всю боль и печаль. Все же защищать страну надо, но мировые войны это просто побоище ради интересов малой группы лиц. Народам же войны не нужны

When Kazakhstan belonged to Russia (In 1916/17, First World War), young Kazakhs were forced, by the Russian Empire, to leave their homes and fight 35 years until their total massacre. The story of one of these young people, who marches in despair to a war that is not his, in addition to the sadness of leaving his parents, elders, with no one to take care of and the certainty that he will never see the mountains ("tau") of Kazakhstan again. this wonderfully sad song! In addition to Dimash's talent, we have a wonderful setting and fantastic musician: Olzhas Qurmanbek, Master of Playing the Qobyz (Kobyz, which looks like a violin: An instrument of Turkish origin, sacred in Kazakhstan)

👉Samaltau Mountain breeze Mountain breeze, my amazing country, my endless lake, What days await me as a soldier, You keep coming into my mind from time to time, My amazing homeland, where I was born and raised I wasn't riding, I was walking, Even slower than walking, Been strolling for 15 days In the direction of Omsk I'm at the age of two cycles, the year of the cow By the will of Fate, I went farther away Mountain breeze, my amazing country, you're left behind From the hollow field, we are the only ones I had parents, Of progressed age, Since this song was written, It's been 16 years. Mountain breeze, my amazing country, my endless lake, What days await me as a soldier🌼🇩🇪

@@wonderfalg I agree with you. Not better. All versions are great, but there are some things I like better in some of the versions over others. In this one, I prefer the low B2 note at the end rather than the higher note in the Tokyo Jazz and digital show versions. And in the vocalization section, I prefer the legato he uses in this and the digital show versions over the slight staccato he uses in the Tokyo Jazz version. And, OMG, the emotion in the digital show version. But, I can’t say one is better than the other. I love them ALL.

you are absolutely right in your feelings of what the music conveys, the beginning really depicts the snowy snowy steppe and the howling and barking of wolves...the events refer to the times of the First World War, when the Russian tsar issued a decree to mobilize the male population of the Kazakh steppe to the frontlines...the hero describes the pain of saying goodbye to the native land

This song is beautiful. The sound-scaping created by the qobyz and the rain stick before Dimash joins is pure and natural. It transports us to the Samal mountains and takes us on a journey reflective of the rich Kazakh history. I also love the music Qairan Elim, where Dimash demonstrated (I believe the first time) his directorial chops in addition to his vocal chops.

I think if someome wants to know a Dimash song which has different versions, it's better if hears (and watchs) all of them. Each version has different variations in music that may be gives different angles of the song. This one was the first and I love it. The last one is more dramatic and sad but I prefer this arrangement (and the version of Tokyo Jazz Festival)

Dear Vera, I am sure that all Dimash fans adore you for your sincere and direct reactions, this is your charm. You asked for the history of the song. It is sung on behalf of a soldier drafted into the army and going to the front during the First World War. She is full of sadness about parting with her beloved homeland, maybe forever. Kazakhstan has very weak harvests due to the climate and soil, I had to go there, albeit for a long time. And men at that time were the breadwinners of the family. Therefore, the departure of the head of the family to the front doomed the family to starvation, especially if the family was engaged in agriculture. History says that a little later, 1 million people died of starvation there. For Kazakhstan, this is a lot. You can appreciate the mood of a soldier who sees his native mountains from the train window, maybe for the last time. The song conveys his mood.

I absolutely love every one of the versions Dimash has done of this song. Even though he's always so emotionally committed & connected in any language, in Kazakh it seems there is an extra dimension to his emoting. The Tokyo Jazz Festival version is wonderful & sublime, & the Dimash Digital 2021 version is superb; it has added chords, a whole new instrumental melody part, and interaction with the Western instruments in such a cool way. Also, there is a visual effect that you really adds to the drama, you will love it & it will blow your mind!! 🤯🤯

Ach ja, wenn du vergleichen magst: Die Tokio-Jazz-Version ist mein persönlicher Favorit, weil sie so inniglich und fast schon intim wirkt.
