First...great reaction. Enjoyed and liked. Strongly suggest that you consider reacting to the 2017 Dimash performance of SOS from the annual talent competition show I AM SINGER from China. That performance introduced Dimash to a broader worldwide audience as it is the most viewed talent show in the world with over 1 billion viewers. It is considered a signature performance and a major milestone in his career. It will also offer an opportunity to see the progression of Dimash since that time vocally to the more recent one u just viewed. I AM SINGER is an annual competition for the title of Chinese Singer of the Year and is a competition of Chinese professional artists from various genres of music that compete over a 16 week show running. DIMASH was the first non-Chinese competitor as a special invitee to the competition. He was also the youngest competitor at 22 years at that time. DIMASH OPENED the show after a glowing introduction which highlighted his singing competition wins and accomplishments in Kazakhstan, Russia and eastern Europe up until that time. Dimash was relatively unknown to his Chinese audience and wasnt expected to last long into the competition. After his performance of SOS, he required bodyguards and was an immediate overnight sensation. DIMASH ultimately placed SECOND in the competition largely due to the fact that he was not CHINESE. Due to the backlash of this placing, the show changed its rules the following year to allow for foreigners to win. Dimash did receive New Artist of the Year in China. Dimash spent the following year in China. After the show, he released an album that went platinum in under an hour and triple platinum with a few more hours. It is one of my favorite performances due to the reactions of the crowd and his fellow competitors back stage watching him perform for the first time. Keep up the great work and thanks again.

👉 This is the song of the songs for Dimash and us, his Dears (This is what Dimash calls us fans.) When I first heard Dimash 5 years ago, I couldn't believe my ears either. I was tempted to look behind my laptop like a little kid to see if there was another singer hiding there.🤣 From that day on, not a day goes by that I don't hear Dimash. This song comes from the famous Canadian-French rock opera 'Starmania' 1978, well known in French-speaking countries) and is one of the most difficult songs to sing and made Dimash a mega-star overnight. The best comment from a Dear under this video: „If you are having a bad day, remember, someone had to sing after him.“ 🤣 The competition was open in 2013 to well-known professional singers from the music industry worldwide (theoretically). In reality, only 2 or 3 non-Chinese contestants (Koreans) attended the show. Foreign participants have been banned since 2016. (The ban was originally intended only for Koreans, but unofficially applied to all foreigners. The Chinese government wanted to ban Korean influence, even though the show was invented in Korea). In 2017 Dimash received a wildcard for the “The Singer” competition in China. He was the youngest participant ever (22 years old). Foreign participants were actually forbidden at that time (politics). The director ignored the ban, believing Dimash would only stay 1 or 2 episodes and then go home. Despite Dimash's planned brief presence, his name was intended to be symbolic and understandable to the public. Dimash was given the Chinese name Dimashi and the 3 syllables were assigned Chinese hydroglyphs: Di - achievement Ma - precious stone Shi - dream, wish. This competition is not a talent show. Only professional, award-winning singers participate. Nobody knew or heard Dimash before and he had to start first ... and after his first song "SOS" Dimash captured the hearts of over 600 million viewers overnight. The next day, bodyguards stood in front of his door. The competition consisted of 14 rounds over 4 months. The jury consisted of 500 spectators who knew music, not just your average "Joe". They were well screened to be sure they would be able to judge the musicians fairly and competently. With up to 1 billion people watching this TV program and international interest was aroused. The performances were uploaded to KZbin ... and so we became Dimash's Dears. The Chinese organizers planned... but Dimash came, sang and stayed ... for the next 3 years in China ... but he only finished second in the competition because he is not Chinese (conditions have changed: 2018, Jessie J. won). Fajnie Cię znowu widzieć z Dimash 👍 Ta wersja SOS pochodzi z koncertu online z czasu głębokiej pandemii w styczniu ubiegłego roku - zresztą zauważyłeś. Chodzi mi o to że oczywiście masz całkowitą rację - Dimash jest prawdziwym artystą który daje z siebie wszystko na koncertach, ale akurat tutaj spocił się z innego powodu. Otóż przed tą piosenką śpiewał i tańczył w dość szalonym tempie piosenkę Give Me Your Love ( własna kompozycja , w stylu jego idola MJ), dlatego w następnej piosence był spocony - tak myślę. Btw - widzę że tak jak ja jesteś fanem Wiedźmina. Powinienieś więc sprawdzić jedną z ostatnich piosenek Dimash - Stranger. Ma niesamowity, filmowo-epicki klimat, Wiedźmin, Gra o Tron i Władca Pierścieni stają przed oczami. I ten kazachski stary instrument Kobyz z jego niesamowitym, zawodzącym dźwiękiem - czysta magia. O wokalu nie powiem tylko że powala na kolana. Serio polecam. Dzięki 😁 ( szkoda że nie lubisz słuchawek- duża różnica)

Stranger mam właśnie w kolejce do wrzucenia bo już nagrałem ale filtry jutuba i prawa autorskie nie chcą mi tego puścić, zobaczymy, może jakieś filtry na obraz naloze i zadziała. Filtry totalnie blokują, tak że nawet nie mogę dać "publiczny".

Bartek , jesteś przecież Polakiem!Zbyt młodym?!by pamiętać że w naszym kraju w latach 70 - tych nie miałam możliwości nauki jęz.francuskiego/ w liceum do wyboru był niemiecki i francuski i obowiązkowy rosyjski/Dziś mówię swobodnie w tych językach, zwłaszcza za rosyjski jestem wdzięczna jako fanka Dimasha/ I tak, uważam za arogancję przekonani że każdy powinien znać angielski , co obserwuje się głównie wśród przedstawicieli tzw.zachodniej kultury.Obserwuję wielu reakcjonerów i widzę, że ludzie kultury latynoamerykańskie i wschodniej są pod tym względem na dużo wyższym poziomie, np.reakcjonerzy japońscy i koreańscya takze z Aneryki Południowej i Środkowrj natychmiast umieszczają translatory w wielu językach.I nie, automatyczny translator w smartfonach nie działa.Pzdr

No generalnie angielski przydaje się na zachodzie bardzo i w miejscach turystycznych. W Azji bardzo rosyjski, no i powoli chiński albo hindi, ale hindi to połowa to angielski. Można narzekać na Rosję ale rosyjskiego wartoby się w moim przypadku było nauczyć, bo w całej Azji się dogadam no i pomógłby mi w zrozumieniu innych słowiańskich języków. Polski dość się różni ale czeski słowacki chorwacki itp już by szło zrozumieć wtedy

Jestem Angielką, która od ponad dwudziestu lat jest żoną Polaka. Mieszkamy w Kanadzie i mój mąż nie spodziewał się, że żadne z naszych dzieci będzie mówić po polsku. Z szacunku dla ich dziedzictwa i ich babci nalegałem, aby nauczyli się języka. Moja najstarsza córka też ma polskie obywatelstwo. Języki są piękne, a zrozumienie buduje mosty między kulturami.

I am a metal ocker also, and cant agree with " this type of music rockers dont listen to" generally in topic. Its just rock & metal genre is in priority to drive our souls with fuel to carry the weights of our lives. Differs only to musical taste, not as a nonappreciation of other genre in overall, and I love Dimash as an artist and a person. Please dont generalize , many metalheads loves Dimash (as he is also a rocker by himself)

Yeah he’s in Dubai right now rehearsing for the concert. Likely A-Studio doesn’t really make new music/perform all that often. I don’t remember his name but he’s got an Instagram. If you look on Dimash’s sister’s page (Raushan), she’s posted in her stories of them in a group including him at the Dubai Marina today. She links to his page, think he also promoted himself by performing on the Marina today. Dimash works with really dynamic artists who seem to do a lot outside of work with him.
