Until this time, seems everything has been said about Dimash exceptional talents in music especially his powerful voice and widest vocal range. Public viewers, supporters and renowned expert in the field of arts and music worldwide remains in wonder of it. Often it clouded questions in our minds …, it’s really true to believe It.? Comments on line say: “Oh his voice is out of this world, Is Dimash human..? An alien..? Is his voice true and real..? It is unbelievable..? It is impossible..? How Dimash do that…? Gosh… what a crazy and insane voice he has etc...” For Dimash viewers worldwide who are still in doubt of his powerful voice and widest vocal range, probably you can give a thought of these following facts and opinions which I myself consider to be of great help and basis to cancel any doubts we had in mind. 1st ► All other things which are beyond our human expectation and understanding, I do believe that Dimash is really gifted by God with grace for music. Truth is… when God’s power intervene, indeed, no doubt things are possible. 2nd ►Dimash 20 years of intensive studies, training, practice and participation in different singing contest in his own country and abroad proved that his talents in music has been exposed to a series of tests, thorough evaluation and development in so many ways. Within that span of time, he was able to reach and develop an exceptional and extraordinary height of his voice beyond human capacity. His performance on SINGER 2017 in China brings new avenue of his talent to the world. Personally this is one of my favourite versions of this song. It is his song, his own composition music wise and someone else contributed the lyrics. There is another performance at Gakku which includes a D8 that people regularly request but personally I think this performance you've reviewed is more beautiful both for the way the instrumental is melded with his vocals and also the other performance is outside so the sound system has to work harder ha. In the performance reviewed today by Valy Elle, there is a moment when Dimash holds the mic before his open mouth and no sound comes out. I *think* he tried to produce his D8. It didn't come, and so he moved on. That is not an easy note to produce in a live concert. At the Gakku performance of this song, he also failed to produce it, reset himself and tried again. He got it on the second try. It's an unnecessary ornamentation in the song, which is beautiful and thrilling, in any case. But I like to reflect on Dimash's courage, for attempting a note like that, and his showmanship, which is so good that it's hard to notice when he has failed to do something he set out to do.

Also re the gestures, if you ever get chance to watch the All by Myself performance from singer (may get a strike so as amazing as it is maybe not worth the risk for the channel but definitely worth watching ) he has multiple gestures and they tend to almost seem to signal to the accompanying orchestra. I'm not sure if it's just a habit from performing in settings or for songs that required that kind of interaction or if it's to reinforce the breaks in the music (e.g for Unforgettable day when he signals all the music stops until he starts singing again) as during all by myself there are lots of breaks and also lots of instruments being added in. For example it starts with purely a harp and him then as he gestures a piano joins then next gesture there's a roll of what sounds like a timpani etc etc. Just my assumption as he doesn't seem to do those gestures as much when he's separated from the folks playing instruments, like on a big stage like his Arnau concerts he doesn't seem to do those specific gestures beyond how they would add to his own singing etc. Could be totally wrong ha but when I did songs with just me and a cellist I had to signal when to come back in as there were frequent moments where neither me nor her were singing/playing etc.

No, i think he tried to attempt a G7, but he failed so he moved on. In the Gakku concert he also failed to do that but he decided to sing his famous D8, which is fit with that part of the song

Also sorry for another comment but Home Free is another really good acapella group. I'd suggest something like Country Fried Pop Medley as a good intro song for them :) or maybe Elvira (it has the original acapella group that sung that song 30+ years ago too so you get nearly double the singers and allows you to talk about how voices age and different vocal timbres within the same classification etc! Could be interesting approach. Great performance as always, but knowing what he did at the Gakku concert at the ending of this song, i realize he could'nt reach that astonishing D8 note in "The Singer" as can be seen in this very same video at the 6:19 mark ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/bJachYGmqsyhmck ) I wonder if he still had his voice damaged ...
