Dimash’s parents are singers. His mother is an opera singer & his father is a singer/music producer. Dimash is a world class master like no other. He studied both classical & contemporary voice/music. He also plays at least 9 or more instruments. He is as you said a once in a lifetime singer & combines pop with opera. He has been offered to join operas but chose his own unique route to stardom. He worked very hard to obtain his magnificent multi-octave voice, but it’s in his blood & has the whole world mesmerized by his passion. Of course, being tall, dark & handsome doesn’t hurt.

PLEASE also react to unforgettable day gakku concert. In this version he tried but couldn't do his highest note but at the gakku concert he did. Almost at the end after he is on his knees and starts with high notes he does D8 which is THE HIGHEST NOTE for 5 seconds. Some don't know whether it is real but it is. First for my favorite Dimash song (so far 😉. His composition ability is just amazing. This song always makes me feel like his voice is pulling me up the side of a mountain and just when you think you can't get any higher, he takes you there... and drops me off the cliff at the end. That last belt note is amazing.... I've never heard a tone change like that before mid note. Just masterful. ❤ DKIFC-USA

Hi Jay....I wish he could have sung the entire song too but, I think the judges got the idea lol don't you? This song Unforgettable Day was written by Dimash when he was 19 and it is beautiful. About the Worlds Best show...we have to remember in China Dimash had an entire orchestra and back singers. Here he just had the piano but, I think that only showed his voice even more and what he can do. I am so excited for Dimash to be here in America. Peace and Love DKIFC/USA

He was not allowed to perform the entire song and had less to work with, so he had too pick and choose parts which would be noticeable to us, but that was okay because it was going to be the first time America is seeing him so they will be blown away and they were. Just to clarify - 1. He is singing in Kazakh. 2. In this case Gloria Wu didn't really tell the background of the song. Dimash wrote the music at 19, but the lyrics were written by the poet father of a friend of Dimash's named Oral Baisengir. So you have all of these people pointlessly speculating about an old girlfriend of Dimash. If you Google "Oral Baisengir and Unforgettable Day ", you'll find a facebook page at the top where he Tells of Dimash collaborating with him. If Gloria hadn't omitted that part, there'd be a lot less misinformation going around.
