"The Dears" know Dimashes birthday May 24.2023, and he turns 29 then. Still very young. But also a very busy young man. With a huge bright future ahead of him. This is just the beginning for him, being worldfamous, and able to travel all around the world. I recently saw a picture taken maybee 2 days ago, of Dimash at Santa Monica pier in US. But I`m also so exited..he won`t stay there for long, I think, because his MV "The Story Of One Sky", is NOMINATED for an Award in England at the CPIFF: Chrystal Palace International Film Festival in London. It will be presented on 03.07.23, and the result will be announced on the 25th.

Dimash didn't start writing ... Dimash has 14 own compositions to his credit. He composed his first song at the age of 19 (I hope I remember correctly, if not sorry dears) He is very talented, has a master's degree in composition and is currently pursuing a PhD in musicology.

Our joy is even greater now because this film, at the CPIFF film festival in London, was nominated for awards by 9 other films, (Cristal Palace international Film Festival) the premiere will be on 07.03.03, the award ceremony on the 25th, we are very excited. Every time I watch this I cry. I have to limit my exposure to it or I get depressed and start feeling hopeless. Despite the saviour emerging at the end, I just don't feel like we are moving towards to peace and unity fast enough. I think I'll be dead before the awakening happens and the common people insist on turning 'to the right' despite everything their governments, the military and the powerful elite are trying to force them into. I hope upon hope the good people can tip the balance somehow. It's a crazy mixed up world and at the moment it's a horrible world in so many ways. The thought of it can cripple you. After completing this epic Dimash appeared changed. He'd become a man and I think his heart was hurting. It's up to us to help each other and be loving and kind to others. Everyone has to do their part. Thank you to Dimash for showing us this lesson so starkly and heartbreakingly. I love your reactions guys, please keep them up. But please don't say 'he's not human' just because he can do incredible things with his voice. He is very human - and this film shows it beyond a shadow of a doubt.

That a great reaction👍❤️. And there is nothing to apologize for. We all cried. The video shows once again that Dimash is an absolute genius. In singing but also as an actor and as a storyteller. The powerful message conveyed by this video is more relevant today than ever. I think this video is mostly about the message. This message however, is for the first time more important than his vocal abilities. His voice is just the tool in this video. But indispensable and simply indescribable. His singing is indescribable and I don’t have the words to express it adequately. But it is only the mediator of what this video is about. This is so heartbreaking and sad and an awesome masterpiece. Pure goosebumps. He worked on this composition for three years and also wrote the screenplay. The premiere was on September 24, 2022. As some have mentioned, this video should be seen by many people. It may be very brutal for some. But let’s not forget that for many, including children, this is everyday life in some countries. And Dimash relentlessly shows us how ugly war is. Dimash was the littel boy who was drowning in the beginning and he gave the necklace to his childhood friend (and future leader) and the girl. The girl on the beach was his future wife. And she gave birth to her second child in the video. The littel girl who was shot was Dimashs and her first daughter. Desperation and maybe revenge has led him to kill his former friend. But violence always breeds violence, and because of this, not only is the leader dead, but so is Dimash. Dimash in the last sequence of the video was the baby (and not the dead Dimash walking in afterlife) that was born and now as a grown man unites people of different nationalities and religions for peace. the film is based on a story written by Dimash with his own screenplay. (I worked on this piece for 3 years). Director Alina Veripya spoke about creating the music video for the new song: the clip is divided into several parts. The first is about childhood. The main character, two friends linked by childhood stories and symbols of eternal friendship. One day the friend saves the protagonist when he drowns. However, there is already competition in these children's story, where the boys love one girl and she chooses one. The second goes through a kind of psychological The disintegration and transformation of children's problems into an adult world of totalitarianism and struggle. When he becomes a commander, the opponent carries the idea of saving the war: the young boy who presents the tokens of friendship he made will marry the girl (Dimash). She will give birth. A baby girl (murdered) and a mother waiting for another baby. These are my views on this amazing masterpiece Story of One Sky - I have watched this many times and still find things out that i never thought of amazing video and i have said it before if anyone could bring peace i strongly believe Dimash could make it possible. This needs to be shared worldwide to show people there is another way. War is never the answer because the only ones to suffer are the innocent. Rewatched the song of Dimash today one line stood out to me One of the most profound lines in The Story of One Sky is the line "Learn to share the love, Not shares" Not shares meaning stop making money out of war rich people have many shares in companies that profit from weapon manufacturing making them richer while the innocent suffer sadly this is why war exists. MONEY, GREED and POWER. The boy who was drowning was (Dimash's character as a child) made the necklaces that were given to the girl who grew up to be (Dimash's pregnant wife) and the boy who saved him who (grew up to be the military leader), possibly out of jealousy. The military leader waged his war The part in the video with the little girl and the people in the hallway were Dimash's family who had been wiped out the little girl whose body he picked up was his daughter, the baby that was born was his son who grew up to be Dimash grown up at the end!!! The Dimash at the end can also be seen as Dimash in the afterlife leading others to the light in peace. The This video needs to be shown worldwide. Something else i noticed is in his dying breath he sang (We're Choosing Life) as he finally passed away now that is powerful

Fact check; Dimash has been writing music for a long time; he wrote “My Beauty” and “Unforgettable Day” as a teenager. He released this song last September (2022). He wrote the music and lyrics (with the help of a translator), directed the MV (also with help), and acted in it. It took him 3 years to do this. It is his message of peace to the world!

Powerful stuff, he composed the music and wrote the script and funded the production, I believe equaling the most expensive music video, just over 7 million, but he certainly got his message across. This video was released the day after the Almaty concert where the live song premiered for the general public. I can’t even imagine being there at that concert in his homeland, the emotion had to be overwhelming. El Amor En Ti was next in the concert, also a Dimash composition and a first for Dimash, performed in Spanish at the request of the Spanish speaking fan base, and man is it incredible! He got me again Janet. I am so glad I had the time to get it done this early. The most expensive music video was Michael, and Janet Jackson's "Scream", which was also 7 Million dollars, but over 20 years ago, so it would be 12.5 Million today. Still it would come in as the 7th most expensive video ever made, adjusted for inflation, and every video ahead of it is either Madonna, MJ, or Guns N' Roses, who you expect to have music videos that are very expensive. I am trying to remember what film award that would be, and it's not coming to me. Had to take a look cuz it was bugging me, it looks like it's these "The 75th British Academy Film Awards, also known as the BAFAs". I am glad this video got nominated for something like that. It should be nominated for Oscar for short film, or something. I think there is a catagory that exceptional music videos end up in, not sure what one. Glad you enjoyed the video :)

@@CaptainFaceBeard "The Story of One Sky" has been nominated in the "Stunning Eclectic Mix" category at the CPIFF Film Festival, running from 2-25 March 2023 in London. It`s a film festival, not an academy award type thing from what I understood. It receives films from all over the globe and screens only the ones that they consider the best. They consider themselves "The World’s Coolest Film Festival" 😁 Might not be something important like an academy film award, but it`s more exposure for Dimash`s work, and in London, which is pretty cool :) This video was directed by the same person who worked on the MV for "Okay", and Dimash has worked with several talented directors in the past, but now he is about to spend a year in the US for an internship program at the New York Film Academy, studying directing. So he will probably become more involved in co-/directing his own MV`s soon. Imma direct myself out now 😁

When I first watched this MV, it broke me, I became very emotional, it was heart wrenching, to say the least!😢 I see that the captain noticed that Dimash iwas the main solder right from the very beginning of the war scene, when he was shot in the arm, many people miss that? Dimash has worked very hard for 3 years composing the music for this song, and around 20 days to make this MV. It turned out to be his most valuable MV, in the ideological sense, ever made, a real Masterpiece! I believe that Dimash deserves THE NOBEL PEACE PRIZE for his selfless hard work and tireless efforts, not only for this MV, but for trying to bring the world together in love, peace and harmony, through his music, MVs and many charities he dedicates his time to. He is a Legend and will go down in History. The mini movie is full of symbolisms, it's the story of 3 youths, and the necklace which was made by the young Dimash and shared with his friends symbolizing lifelong friendship and unity. The Piper grew up and started a war, using the symbol of the necklace as the crest on his army uniform. This is my breakdown of the story, as I see it: 1) Dimash, who was drowning at the beginning and at the end. 2) The Piper, the one who saved Dimash, and who became the leader, and who was killed by Dimash at the end. 3) The young girl, who died in childbirth, became Dimash’s future wife, had two children together; a daughter who was killed by the Piper's army; and the birth of a son at the end, who inherited the necklace from his mother…, they were all torn by the war. For the symbolic aspects, Dimash is showing the different cultures and religions (Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Hindi, etc.), through throat singing, which is called the REQUIEM (mass for the souls of the dead), from different religions. The Pilgrim, Shepard or Wise Man at the end of the video was Dimash’s newborn son, born in his image and grows up to guide the Representatives of different religions and race from different Nations to the light, for a new beginning living together in peace, tolerance, love and harmony. After 3 years in the making Dimash released his music video of the story of one sky on September 24th, 2022. Dimash is a composer as well as many other things. He has been writing music since he was a teenager. Is my understanding that he is currently writing his dissertation for his PhD in music composition. He also wrote the music for his song War and Peace among others.

This will survive the centuries and will tell the story of us in this pitiful century of warring humans, under one sky that’s a witness to our atrocities as a specie, in the next millennium. This video took a bit to edit, I think a couple of hours if I remember. In that time I had to watch it a bunch, and had to watch it again when finished. In that process I noticed a lot of subtle and not so subtle themes and symbolization in the video. Pay attention to the colors used at different times in the scenes, as well as the lighting and how it's used to make characters look different from each other. But, there is a lot more than just those things going on.

I`m gonna post the longest comment in youtube history about this video 😁but I think it`s worth it. The quote at the end of the video is from the “Document on Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together” signed jointly on February 4, 2019, by Pope Francis and the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Ahmad el-Tayeb. Dimash met and spoke with both at the September 2022 meeting, at the 7th Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions in Nur-Sultan (Astana), Kazakhstan. Dimash worked on the music and the script for the last 3 years. There are several symbols that he put in the video, and I listed as many as I could below - pendant, Waldenberg, "Imagine", character at the end etc. : - the pendant - it`s the needle, gnomon, of a maritime compass - a symbol for the moral compass or for "following the light". Dimash the child puts on his first, then he gifts one to each of his friends. The second boy never accepts the pendant ; Then the camera focuses on his hand, showing us that he has bent it in his fist in anger that the girl didn`t choose him - bent, the blade is unable to point to True North anymore, a symbol of him losing his moral compass. Throughout his life, he never puts it around his neck, he always keeps it in his fist, bent, as a symbol of holding on to resent, accumulating resent, which will alter his judgement. As an adult, he becomes the Antagonist, the General, with a twisted idea of a "saving war" : “Only war will lead us to peace ; We will lead all who are ready to begin this new life. Anyone who resists has no place with us ; The world is open before me, and I want to give it to you. The city Waldenberg was completely destroyed. Many of the people killed in the bombed buildings were women and children. Evil was defeated, but at a very high price - the pilgrim falling (pilgrims who symbolize the spiritual journey of humanity) : at the moment when Dimash finds his daughter killed - the moment of danger of losing faith along the path, due to pain experienced in life. Or a symbol for one who has lost their way so much that ends up leading people to war, like the general. - "Adam kerwen ömir jol" - the phrase in growl register, while Dimash kneels and hugs his daughter that was killed : "Life of Man is long and dangerous journey, one must be careful" (with the choices he makes) - I believe the meaning of this kazakh proverb, and it`s placement in the video, highlight once again the importance of choices and their consequences - marking the most difficult moment of the video : the discovery of the innocent child that was killed = the darkest misery of war, everybody lost, including the resistance against the dictator, that was doing the right thing, but way too late, at the point when everybody loses. (at the point of self defense, when non-aggressors have to choose aggression themselves, and nobody comes out of it unscathed) Leaving no room for "glory for the good guys", like movies sometimes do. Death of a child speaks loud and clear that no one is the winner in something that lead to the death of a child. Now you must watch him sing this live from his concert in Almaty. Be sure and view the Fan Cam version. The sound quality isn't as good as the real drone and film footsge. But the steady view without all the distracting shots of the movie, the crowd etc. Dimash sang this after 3 hrs into the concert....and then followed it up (check out En Amor Ti ) a new mind blower song and performance. That is the grandiose and impressive result of three years of compositional work by Dimash Qudaibergen. This clip is not about war, it’s about peace. War here is a means of expressing the contrast of what happens when we lose love for one another. It is about the call to unite, to stop dividing each other along national, social, religious lines in order to preserve life, love, friendship, and the land for our children. Story: The clip is divided into several parts. The first is about childhood. The main character and his 2 friends are linked in eternal friendship through childhood stories and a symbol (necklace). One day, the friend saves the protagonist when he is drowning. However, there is already competition in this children's story as the boys are in love with the girl and she chooses 'Dimash'. The pendant is a gnomon, the shadow hand of a sundial, which also served as a sea compass before antiquity. Uniform wearers wear this symbol on their heads. So it can't work. The second experiences a kind of nervous breakdown and transfers the children's problems into the world of adult totalitarianism and struggle. By becoming President, the antagonist (Piper - in reference to the 'Pied Piper of Hamelin') carries within himself the idea of a war to save: “Only war will lead us to peace. Only the strongest can find love in their hearts. You must be strong enough to give freedom to the world. A world where every city, every home is one. We will guide all who are ready to start this new life. Anyone who resists has no business with us. I choose freedom. The world is open to me and I want to give it to you. War for the people is the way to unity.” The main character also speaks of unity, of peace, but through the lens of kindness and love. While fighting, he is confused, he is in shock, but he has to save his family - his pregnant wife (the very girl from his childhood) and his daughter. Once home, he is horrified by the picture of the dead and realizes that his family is also dead. After surviving this drama, he moves on to the antagonist to seek revenge. However, the Protagonist’s wife survives with the help of people who know that she is the one who must give birth to a special boy who can save the world. These are people of different nationalities and faiths who have united for peace. A parallel line of pilgrims are people of different religions, walking the hard path to some place of power where they could unite and discover the Heavenly Eye that would illuminate the world. By uniting, they create a common energy in which the protagonist’s son is born, as Hope and Faith for the Better. Their journey is a symbol of faith in general, because it always goes through trials. When we go to the truth, we go through certain lessons and our way to God is difficult, but only possible if we come together. More movie details: (1) The three (children) and the two boys disputed the girl's attention; (2) The character (which Dimash represents as an adult) created a symbol to confirm friendship between the three, after being saved by his friend; (3) Still in the video we see the girl choose "Dimash" and then they get married and have the little girl (who was killed) as a daughter and the mother is pregnant with another boy; (4) The older boy (who saved "Dimash" from drowning) does not accept being abandoned by the girl and becomes a dictator president/general; (5) Dimash becomes a soldier who decides to return from combat to protect his war refugee family; (6) Dimash finds his daughter dead and thinks that his wife had also died, so he decides to take revenge on his friend; (7) He kills the dictator and is killed regretting the violence he committed in life; (8) Dimash's wife is welcomed by people of different religions who agree that Dimash's son is someone special; (9) The wife dies in childbirth and Dimash's son becomes a leader who leads the refugees to a better place, of tolerance, respect and acceptance.

I have actually been subscribed to his channel for quite some time. This video was recorded on Sept 29th, 2022. I think right after watching this video I had subscribed. I started making these videos due to being forced out of my job due to a Spinal Cord Injury, and the last while has been very hard for just sitting up straight, and getting stuff done. It has gotten better and I am back getting videos finished up. We are going to check out the Spanish song soon on our next stream, I can't wait, heard he sings 4 different parts with himself. Actually Dimash has been composing for a long time. You might want to listen to Unforgettable Day which he composed at age 17. Try the version at the Gakku concert when he threw out that legendary D8. Tears are normal. I was at the Almaty concert when Dimash premiered this song, and I was a mess, sobbing out loud when he screamed we’re choosing life at the end…😢

I wasn't sure if we would check out the live version, as we have hear the song, but with this one it's going to be necessary. Even while editing the video it was hard to pay attention to the song and it's lyrics. I have ADHD, and the visuals were so striking it was harder for me to focus. I need to hear it again without that distraction to focus on the song itself more. Also someone said the Spanish song he sings a quartet with himself, so I HAVE to see that.

My take on the story: It’s the story of three childhood friends who are all joined by the symbol of the necklace. Dimash as a child (the tallest boy, Dimash is tall!), saves the boy, who eventually became the Dictator. Dimash married the girl from his childhood, they have a daughter who was killed in the war. Dimash kills his childhood friend, (the dictator) who he saved from drowning when they were children. The Dictator’s soldier’s kill Dimash. Dimash’s wife gives birth to their son, his father’s necklace is passed down to him. It’s Dimash’s son at the end leading all people and all religions to peace (Throughout the video when Dimash is singing in a Middle Eastern style, that’s flash forward to the future, where the people of all religions are being led in peace, by Dimash’s son.)

I personally believe that Dimash is a virtuoso in our time. I have been enjoying Dimash music for many years; I am glad to be around at a time to enjoy the result of Dimash's musicality and his 24+ years of dedication to music. The film is based on a story written by Dimash, with his own screenplay. The storyline is a very human one: we start as innocents until our hearts are broken, we fail, or our dreams are not realized. If in our pain and disappointment, we turn to anger and blame instead of acceptance, power instead of love, greed and envy instead of generosity, hatred instead of forgiveness, and revenge instead of justice, we sow the seeds for conflicts that can turn into war. The clip is divided into 3 parts. The first one is about childhood. The main character, his 2 friends are connected by childhood stories and symbols of eternal friendship. One day the friend saves the Protagonist (Dimash)when he drowns. Already at that time the girl chose the Protagonist (Dimash). The pendant they all have, is an element from an ancient sea compass. In part 2 they are adults, Domash is a soldier, the girl is his pregnant wife, they have a daughter, their friend became a Commander. Dimash’s character is fighting with evil, but he is not a good guy, because those who fight back betray peace as well. Peace cannot be won through violence. That is the dilemma of those of us who did not start the war, who do not support the war, but are forced to respond in order to defend ourselves and those we love. It’s impossible to rid the world of evil without becoming what we fight against. Part 3 is a parallel line of pilgrims, people of different religions, walking the hard path to some place of power where they could discover the light of hope. Their journey is a symbol of faith in general, because it always goes through trials.

The image I used in the thumbnail was such a powerful scene. I have the live performance and the new Spanish song on my list for the next stream. There was a copyright claim on the video, but it did not block the video. I have been very impressed with him, the videos I have disputed that he/his team, have a choice in releasing have all been released.
