Dimash is an exorcist, he brings to the surface our dark reveries, our sufferings and our pains so that they can be eliminated from our soul. Simple as that, Dimash is a natural healer.

Your reaction to this song was very visceral and thoughtful. Dimash brings out that part of his listeners or many times gives words to those deep feelings of people‼ I love hearing about your family and your life in response to Dimash's songs❣ In this song, the old Dimash sits in the audience seating. He has said in interviews that when he is old he will be in the audience watching other new performers. I personally feel that he will be singing loud and proud until the end whenever that comes 🥰 In one of his posts he wrote that at the end of his life he wants to be able to look at his reflection and say "you did ok Dimash". He is an old and wise soul who thinks deeply about things that even many of the older people don't...and definitely not young people his age. Please react to some of his interviews or The Ultimate Dimash Guide series by LiLaSi. They are great and gives interesting insights into the various aspects of his life and art...also shows parts of many of his interviews, performances, etc 🙏💞🙏💞🙏

Thanks so much for reading my comment and reacting to this awesome work of art by Dimash. How many stars will make a song like this, he's already contemplating the transitory nature of his own fame! The profound effect of seeing those isolated people in the audience, in their own worlds. And the way he looks at the end, without singing, a kind of naked vulnerable human, his eyes say everything! Thanks again for the mention. I have my own channel with very little on it, just a few Dimash songs and classical pieces as soundtrack to my paintings! Brian Joffin is my real name, I am a 70 year old farmer and painter.

Duets with Dimash are always incredible. He never tries to overdue his partners. He always does what is best for the song. This is a duet with Plácido Domingo from George Bizet's (a French composer 1838-1875) Opera "The Pearl Fishers". It's about two friends who both love the same woman (a priestress). But they decide that their friendship will not break because of this. Here maestro Plácido Domingo sings the baritone part whereas Dimash sings the tenor part. Placido Domingo will be 84 years old in January. He himself said that he could no longer sing the tenor. So Dimash should do this part. I'm not an opera expert, but nonetheless Placido is still a great opera singer. He and Dimash were judges in a talent-show for young classical talents in Budapest, Hungary. And in this show one of his biggest dreams came true with this duet. And before this duet, they only had one or two rehearsals together. And Dimash had had a bad cough for some time. Dimash has classical as well as contemporary vocal training. After college, he was offered a job at the Astana Opera House, which he turned down because he wanted to sing and write his own style of music. If you love this voice of him (as I do a lot) then react to The Anthem of Kazakhstan Thousand Of Miles, a common dream with Zhang Yingxi Red Moon Rules with Huang Xiaoyun With Lara Fabian and Aida Garifullina Ti Amo Cosi Ulisse with Aida Garifullina Olimpico from his Arnau concert I tried to provide the links but my comment always was filtered out. Hmm, I really wonder at why (almost) every reactor who watches this video immediately jumps to the conclusion that the people in the audience are Dimash's relatives or family members? Why is that? As if everyone who looks like a Kazakh is related to Dimash. 🤣 The lyrics of the song are about introspection and how life goes by so swiftly that if you are not careful your life is over before you can make your dreams come true. That you should reach for your dreams before your life is over. The people in the audience are spotlighted to show that in the end each is alone in the crowd (audience) and must face their success or failure alone. Representatives of the old, middle aged and young are sprinkled throughout the auditorium separated by distance. You also see Dimash at the end of his life as part of the audience now and he must also face how he lived his life and whether he accomplished his goals and dreams with honor. Then at the end the entire audience is shown watching the same performance together symbolizing that everyone is going through the same great journey of life.

Kanat, his father is the second soloist The vocal instructor of Sveta and Dimash is the fourth singer. Kanat composed the music for this song. In the song below, his younger brother Mansur wrote the music and he and Dimash wrote the words. kzbin.info/www/bejne/q5vEnot_qrGWfK8 The girl with the birthday cake is Raushan, their sister. Birth order is Dimash, Raushan and Mansur. Dimash is very close and loving with his family and long time friends. Below is a video of Dimash with his Paternal grandparents who raised him solely his first 10 years (a Kazak tradition for a first-born son) then at 10 he and his grandparents moved in with his parents. He call his Kudaibergen grandparents Mama and Papa and always introduced them in that manner and would tell his audiences he had two set of parents Here he is with them being interviewed. He is playing chess with his Papa who taught all of his children and grandchildren to paly chess. Also, they are a people known for pronouncing blessing on others as you can see in the last video. Even if they just come in contact with others, they will pronounce a blessing, even if it is just a short Shalome Aleichem. As you can see, a lot of Dimash's European DNA came from his Grandfather. I am pretty sure his maternal grandfather was Ukranian and was a gifted musician, but the USSR would not allow him to play but made him a portrait artist for the upper echelon in the USSR. Along with Kazakhstan, 15 other countries were given their freedom in 1991 and Dimash was born in 1994. The USSR had all but destroyed these now republics and his Mama and Papa thought it best for him to be bi-lingual in Kazak and Russian from the very beginning. He is very comfortable in both languages and know some Ukranian.

Sorry, but the lyrics of this piece is as illogical as it gets. To understand why let´s take a look at the concept of fatalism featured in Omir Oter. Here is a quote from some Iranian encyclopedia: „The concept of fatalism as commonly used in Islamic philosophy ... denotes the belief in the pre-ordained Decree of God (...), according to which whatever happens to human beings or in the whole universe has been pre-determined by the will and knowledge of the Almighty, and that no changes or transformations in it can be made through the agency of the human will“. The logical consequence of this is: there is no point in even trying to achieve something or to make the world a better place. In Omir Oter this oriental fatalism is reflected by lines such as „fate is not to be controlled…“, „everything in this life is in vain“…, „no matter how you deceive yourself, in the end your fate is in the hand of the Almighty“. This is inconsistent with another line of the lyrics such as „may your star never go out until the cherished dream is achieved“. If everything in life is in vain, and if fate can´t be controlled, why would anyone try to fulfill some dream? Even if it´s poetry, it shouldn´t be illogical. Although Dimash sings such fatalist lyrics and, due to his (too) traditional roots, keeps using fatalist phrases in his daily life like “if Allah wills it” or “Allah willing“, I am glad that he obviously doesn´t really follow them, because 25 years of hard work to achieve his musical dream would not have happened, and there would have been no point in writing, composing and recording a 13 min anti-war mini-movie if he actually believed that everything in this life is in vain and trying to make the world a better place is a deception. In any case, I admire Dimash for being a musical genius. He can´t be a philosophical genius on top of that.
@AubreyLeFeyКүн бұрын
You make a strong, logical argument here. All religion is illogical. Nevertheless, the human brain (or some human brains) appear to be hardwired for belief. The field of cognitive neuroscience is quite busy with research into this topic. I agree that Dimash is a musical genius. In addition, he has what I consider to be an unparalleled capacity to transmit emotion.

@ mmsminimalmusic. Dimash’s belief in a creator is not philosophical but religious. .Religion has its basis in belief and philosophy is a critic of belief and belief based systems.;therefore I beleve that your argument is illogical. I am not of a fatalistic religion but I also pray that my God’s will be done and I believe if God is willing. Dimash is not a philosopher but a man of faith.and I agree a musical genius.

@@AubreyLeFey Yes, there appears to be an innate predisposition for religious thinking, which makes it hard to be rational. I wouldn't call it "hardwired" though, because that sounds as if it couldn't be changed. But people can overcome this predisposition by education and critical thinking. As for Dimash, I think he's too stuck in tradition to notice the logical problems mentioned. However, I have no doubt he would understand them if we had a philosophical discussion with him.
