Kazakhstan got it’s I dependence, I think about thirty years ago and Dimash is passionate about his roots. Though he plays many instruments, it is his younger brother who is playing guitar and drums this time. Dimash was playing a kobyz in the cave, a traditional instrument. As others have said, Dimash is the most versatile singer in the world, singing opera to rap and in 14 languages. A song he composed called El Amor enti had Spanish lyrics which were written by two Mexican fans.

Great reaction, and yes, Kazakhstan was under Soviet rule until 1991 when they regained their independence. I have thought that Dimash's pride in his homeland is how Native Americans would feel if this land was ever given back to them. You're the only reactor who has touched upon the similarities, so until now, I have never mentioned my thoughts as them being akin to Native Americans. The Kazaks lived more or less under Russian rule since the mid-18th century and then became part of the Soviet Union in 1936. That's why almost all Kazakhs still speak Russian fluently today. During this time, as far as I know, the Kazakh language as well as the Kazakh traditions were officially banned, so that today many Kazakhs have to learn their native language again. Kazakhstan has always been troubled. During the First World War many Kazakhs were forced to fight for Russia. From 1928 to 1933, 1.3 to 1.5 million (that was more than 30 percent of the population at the time) Kazakhs died in a famine catastrophe that had several causes such as forced expropriations and mass deportations. At the end of the Cold War, Kazakhstan finally became independent on December 16, 1991. I hope from the bottom of my heart that this will continue to be the case in the near future💕 I hope you'll forgive me for this little history lesson. Dimash is a 30-years old singer from Kazakhstan and believe me, you’ve seen nothing at all. In my opinion you have discovered the best singer in the world. He has perfect pitch and currently has a vocal range of 6 octaves. Not in one song (mostly anyway, but it does happen sometimes😅). However, if you include the notes he has sung live in his concerts so far, you get almost 8 octaves (7.7 from vocal fry C1 (B0) to the whistle register D8; this note is no longer on the piano). At least that's what he's shown us so far. And this in all registers (chest, mixed and head voice up to the whistle register). The transitions from one register to the other are so fluid that they are sometimes not recognized even by vocal coaches or professional singers. His voice is the result not only of his God-given talent, but also of his almost 25 years of hard daily training. From the age of 5 he attended music school in his hometown of Aktobe. He plays several instruments like piano, dombra (a kazach instrument), drums, marimba and more. He has classical as well as contemporary vocal training and sings in different genres from opera to pop, jazz, Kazakh folk, ballads, RnB and he even raps a bit. And often he skillfully mixes several genres in one song. Mainly classic and pop, so he created a new crossover genre. And meanwhile in more than 15 languages. And at his concert in Almaty, Kazakhstan on September 23, 2022 he sang in 7 languages in one concert! He sings no mainstream and is a completely independent artist. He is managed by his father Kanat, who founded his own company "DimashAli Creative Center". The logo can be seen at the beginning of many of Dimash's videos. Maybe that’s the reason you never heard of him yet. He doesn’t sell his soul to a music label. He doesn’t want to be dictated by money when he has to sing what, when, where and how. Many of my favorite songs are in his native tongue. He is a nice, intelligent, respectful and humble person. He respects people regardless of their original, religion or profession. He truly loves his homeland Kazakhstan and his people with all his heart and always shows it with pride in many of his songs, concerts and interviews. At his concerts he tells the audience that he has given concerts in many countries and repeatedly emphasizes that he loves everyone in every country. And there are no bad nations (only bad leaders). And I absolutely believe this. His recent concerts were in Prague and Düsseldorf (end of November 2024). It was so amazing and it lasts more than 3 hours. I still haven't really arrived in the here and now😅. Believe it or not but he really gets better and better. Every time you think you know him and his art, that you've seen the best and that it's impossible for it to get any better, you realize you're so wrong. He's very spiritual and thankful for the gift God has given him. But he also works very hard to constantly improve his vocal skills. He said in an interview that he trains at least 3 hours every day, if necessary, it can be 10 hours to prepare for a concert. He loves swimming and also a lot under water. Maybe that's why he has this large lung capacity to hold the notes as long as he does. He is constantly his biggest competitior to get better and better. He is a real perfectionist. He's a singer you can't put in any box. He sings almost every genre there is and likes to try new things. You can't compare him to any other singer on this planet. He has so many different music genres and styles. He loves Freddie Mercury, but also Michael Jackson, Lara Fabian, Luciano Pavarotti and Eminem and you can also hear that one or the other has an influence on some of his songs. Every time you watch a new video, expect the unexpected. Even the covers he sings he makes his own and brings elements into the song that you would never expect. Don't be surprised if you get suggestions for songs you may have already seen. Dimash has different versions of many of the same songs. They are all worth seeing and always a little different. The song fits this video so well and there is probably no one who is more suitable as an advertisement for this incredibly beautiful country than Dimash. The landscapes are so gorgeous and unique. Lyrics were written by Dimash's father. Kazakhstan has a history with Russia. And with the collapse of the Russian Empire, Kazakhstan became independent in 1991. Dimash is born in 1994. So he didn't have to live through that phase of their history. But Dimash is very proud of his heritage.

Dimash es ÚNICO, nadie que yo haya escuchado tiene la capacidad que tiene él, está fuera de este mundo. Yo le descubrí en 2019 con SOS interpretada en China en 2017, quedé fascinada y desde entonces no ha hecho sino mejorar. In 2016, Dimash turned down the offer of an engagement at the National Opera in Astana (capital of Kazakhstan) because he wanted to go his own way. He created his own genre: neo-classical combined with classical, folklore and other styles like pop, rock, R&B and jazz. We lay people say “Popera”. Dimash not only sings in all genres, in some of his own compositions he brilliantly combines a wide variety of genres and styles and never ceases to amaze us dears. Dimash cannot be pigeonholed. 😃 Every song that Dimash sings is rearranged by himself and adapted to the respective performance. This means there are often several versions. His best friend Yerlan Bekchurin as a soundmanager and soundproducer implements Dimash’s creative ideas. Dimash is independent and has full artistic control over himself. His father founded the company "DimashAli" with a friend (his son's name is Ali).

I see you are branching out. Dimash is a wonderful singer. I am a fan as well but I personally love another singer that is often talked about with great singers like Dimash. His name is Zhou Shen. One of the most ethereal voices and arguably one of the most popular singers in China. Funny he just released his first Spanish song - La Danza del Dios Del Sol. He is a traditional Chinese Singer that can seamlessly go from opera to Chinese Pop, Ballad, Rap etc. I will buy you a few coffees if it gets him on tour radar. He has a large international fan base but not as many US reactors.

Though you didn't get to hear much of his otherworldly vocals here, it might've been a good introduction for you actually since you related to the message a lot. I'd suggest "SOS"(2021 Digital Show) next since it's the song people usually start with, but after that'd recommend the Kazakh folk song "Samaltau"(Tokyo Jazz Festival 2020) and "Amanat".

Frankie, not the best first reaction for a Dimash son. You didn’t know it here but among the professionals, you tube vocals coaches and teachers Dimash is the best vocalist past and present in the world. He messed up here using cgi for the horse riding tricks. Not that Dimash is not a sportsman. Dimash has a red belt in taequandi, good at soccer and deep dives everyday for his lungs. Find one of his performances of his signature French song sos.

He is multitalented, a multi instrumentalist, sings in 15 languages (he only speaks4) and is highly educated. He has a Masters degree in music composition and is working on his PhD. There is much more I can say, but I don’t want to overwhelm you 😁😁
