Some ppl dont realize that this song is his forte 😅😅 So easy for him!! They thought this song is very hard so it can't be live! Yeah, hard for US but EASY for Dimash!! 😂 Some people also think some performances sound the same while they are not 🙄🙄 SIMILAR yes, the same? NO They need to pay attention to his mouth positioning, body posture and most importantly, the dynamics...... how he put more air into a syllable or how he brings more "chest" into a particular word, how his breath is more evident in some, how his "p" or "d" sound makes a little noise on the mic, etc. The background music is also different!! There are subtle differences that people miss coz for them it sounds "roughly" the same! 😅 I find it strange when these ppl try to pursuade the coaches who reacted to performances they thought were lipsynced 😂 seriously? It's because these coaches are experts, professionals, they know how to detect lipsync! If they say nothing about it then it means they know it's live (hence why they are so impressed)!!

His possition and everything looked completelly diffrent when he sang this aria then when he sang his pop songs. It was impressive how he used his abdomen and chest to support the tone and his head looked like big resonant cave. You know. The technique. As a singer you could appreciate. And this deffinitely wasn't lip sync. I stood about 5 metres from him in the first row.

I'm so glad you brought up the lipsynching issue. I was at the concert and there were very subtle differences that would probably be very hard to pick up on a cell phone. People need to remember that, 1. He's classically trained so while this song isn't the easiest to sing, he's a pro at singing this genre, 2. This type of genre doesn't lend itself to improv at all. You sing it the same each and every time you sing it, 3. You are at the mercy of the recording instrument used and the playback instrument used. You really need to be there to get the full affect of him singing.

This song of all the Dimash songs is in his complete comfort zone as an artist as well as falls in line with the style of singing he has done for years. It's literally a song that he is resting on. Not that it reduces how amazing it is but certainly helps explain the consistency of sound that he achieves, in particular in pieces like Ogni Pieces, Mademoiselle Hyde and others that fall into that realm and is why to the untrained (and skeptical "hater" types) ear they say he has to be lip syncing. In this performance, on the very final note especially, you can tell he's singing the song within a concert where vocal fatigue and energy expenditures are factoring in. It isn't to say that there was an issue, the note was great, but you can hear a very slight rough color/timbre that he never has when doing 3 song sets or this song alone as a feature piece. I love it, sounds awesome, the realness is so cool and to think of the mastery this guy possesses is truly mind blowing. In a world of Instagram fakery, autotune and lip syncing, it is understandable why so many are skeptical. The proof is undeniable, slow the songs down to half speed and compare them. You'll see slight differences in note length, vibrato placement etc...I did this myself because initially the consistency of Ogni Pietra was so crazy I thought it might be lip synced. Fear not dears, Dimash is the real thing, and those who've been to his live performances can tell that better then anyone.
@Jane.S6004 жыл бұрын
Thank you for writing this.All those who are sitting at home comparing by playing f.eks this song from two different performences in two different devices at the same time and say that they sound the same so it must be lip-sync are wrong.If it was another 'normal' artist it can work,but not when it comes to Dimash. He is so well trained.😊

Dimash sings on the highest real sopranos, and not just falsetto, like most men. In a recent interview, he described how his teachers taught soprano singing from childhood. Dimash has a classical, opera school of vocals, he was taught to sing just like that. He once said there was a shortage of girls singing soprano in his school choir so they put him in to sing with them. He said it was ok as he got to meet lots of pretty girls. Nature endowed him with unique ligaments, so he retained the ability to sing in a high key and after age-related changes in his voice. The gift of God and great work from childhood is Dimash.

THIS IS MY FAVORITE DIMASH PERFORMANCE OF THIS SONG. HE IS ALWAYS ON FIRE, BUT HE WAS MORE ELECTRIFYING THAN I HAVE EVER SEEN HIM THIS NIGHT....PROBABLY BECAUSE IT WAS HIS FIRST SOLO N.Y. CONCERT. THERE IS A FAN CAM THAT IS TAKEN BY SOMEONE IN THE 4TH OR 5TH ROW...REALLY UP CLOSE.....YOU SHOULD SEE IT...AND THE SOUND IS INCREDIBLE ON THAT VIDEO!!! HE WON A MAJOR RUSSIAN MUSIC AWARD FOR BEST CLASSICAL VOCALIST FOR THIS SONG 2019, AHEAD OF THE OTHERS WHO WERE STRICTLY OPERA STARS. I agree, it's so impressive that he can belt that high highest note with power, resonance and full operatic vibrato. He did use the word "squeaking' in an interview....he said "I hope I'm still on stage squeaking at 90" LOL!!! And I thought hmmmm that's kind of a good way of thinking those high notes a little, like squeaking....hmmm :)

Hi Caleb! Happy New Year to you and yours! Thanks for doing this - your analysis is spot on. This was his best performance that night! He could have sung this another twelve times and I would have been just as giddy! 😁 His mezzo-soprano singing was amazing. He was just blowing us away - he definitely WAS NOT lip-syncing. I was listening and watching hard. The acoustics and speakers were pretty awful where we were sitting - great view, poor sound, and most of the time we couldn’t hear what he was singing- just that miraculous voice going through myriad tones and power levels. As I said before there were some hits and misses, as expected in a live show - but Ogni Pietra and Tired Swans, Daididau, made up for everything! They must have spent a few million on the staging, lights and pyrotechnics, but Dimash was everything. We were in wonderment at his power, timbre and tone. Unforgettable! The ushers and Barclays staff were gaping, mouths open in disbelief - they probably had never heard of him before! 😂 I was having a kick watching them! Looking forward to your EP!

This was the 3rd time. The first 2 we watched in Moscow, in the Kremlin on March 22 and 23. What's amazing is that his voice gets stronger every time. @Caleb Coles Music Thank you for your very constructive comment about lip syncing. You are right: Dimash is not always perfect. For many listeners, Dimash sounds "equally" if he does not make obvious changes to his performance.

Exactly!! Some people think some performances sound the same while they are not 🙄🙄 SIMILAR yes, the same? NO They need to pay attention to the dynamics, how he put more air into a syllable or how he brings more "chest" into a particular word, how his breath is more evident in some, how his "p" or "d" sound makes a little noise on the mic, etc. The background music is also different!! There are subtle differences that people miss coz for them it sounds the same!

Happy Happy Happy ❣️❣️❣️ You are the cutest ever on your reactions. I learn something all the time. Talk about stage presence, he gave us all and I for one “Loved it”.

A lot more theatrical in this performance. He does appear to get more and more comfortable with songs the more he sings them. He internalizes them. As one reviewer put it, Dimash IS the song.

Love, love, love the large performance screen. Still plenty of room for us to see you react as well. Perfect! Also loved how Dimash just blew out the song such that the audience loved it!

Caleb, I got so tickled watching you enjoy this one. You are always thinking of the way each note is performed. With that being said, cover this one! You can do that with the same ease as S.O.S.!! Peace!

Besides the fact that Dimash is such an extraordinary vocal genius, and I personally wouldn’t kick him outta bed for eating crackers, but I cannot imagine how much a production like this would cost. Can you imagine? Staging, lights, musicians, dancers, sound etc. It’s probably a mind boggling expense. Just thinking out loud. 😁😉 I’m really glad you like Dimash. Keep up the good work in your reactions even tho I do not understand some of your explanations. It’s all good.

It’s fun watching you watch Dimash. I’ve seen you do this several times and still like watching you. Nothing wrong with repeats. Bev

Hey bro, I just finished the 2 hour and 42 minute concert in Kazakhstan from back in the summer for the 4th time. When you get a moment, I would check out that concert which it was one that I had sent to you several months ago. Professionally done and tells a lot about the person of Dimash. It's ironic that I saw this before I turned my phone off. The master Perfecto at work! I'm glad you did another reaction to this epic masterpiece. Bro, my heart goes out to New South Wales and surroundings...Devastating! I hope relief comes with a quickness. Looking forward to the EP in the very near future. I will be stopping by Nashville, TN on my way to FL in a few days. I will message you more later. Great seeing you this morning or shall I say my morning, LOL. Hope all the family is very well and thanks for another great reaction! 😁❤

Yeah I will definitely check out that concert. There are a lot of fires around, family needing to evacuate and whatnot. It is not too close to where I live fortunately, but definitely pretty scary at the moment what is happening. Thanks, appreciate it. Talk soon all the best with your travels :)
