I am a Mexican Dear and I was in New York at the Barclay Center Dimash Concert at Dec 10, 2019. He sings Olímpico there and is a dream!!!! His voice is perfect, clear, powerful. It's amazing to see it live. His voice is impeccable, the air handling is perfect, his voice is powerful, incredible phighs and a perfect low voice. На счет профи - сомневаюсь (я не о Димаше, я о блогере). Личное мнение: для меня исполнитель становится профи только тогда, когда я имею возможность познакомится с его творчеством и оно мне очень нравится; учитель по вокалу станет профи только тогда, когда я смогу познакомится с результатом его работы, а именно с творчеством его талантливых учеников... В данном случае я не знаю кто он (блогер) - ни с учениками, ни с его творчеством мне, к сожалению (а может наоборот - к счастью) познакомится не удалось... Единственное что могу точно сказать - настоящими и не оспоримыми профи были учителя у Димаша и результатом их работы сейчас наслаждается весь мир.

He has been training since 5 yrs of age. When you train that long for anything, you get pretty good. He still practices 2 to 3 hours daily. He says if you don't use it you'll lose it. This mans work ethic is second to none. I so idolize him and his talent. Yes Olympico was especially written for him by Igor. Igor puts out music that fits Dimashs special talents.

Thanks, I think there's some thing about it not being perfect in terms of sound quality, it shows that he sounds great even from a simple source as a camera!

@@HofTheStage it's important for vocal coaches to see the fancams so you can see his mouth and neck area. How the larynx moves, the mouth is shaped, etc that way there will be no lipsync accusations. TV versions have been through sound editing it may sound compressed at times and some are not even synced well. Plus you can't see his mouth movement clearly.

We often forget that Dimash is an opera singer . He refused position in Astana opera, after graduation and decided to experiment with his voice. Thankfully to that decision we can enjoy his singing World wide. In a contrary he might have remained unknown .

The song IS epic! I love the drums so much. And I believe it was written for Dimash. I can’t imagine anyone else singing it. I prefer version with ice skating and live orchestra, but this version is great as well. The concert hall just adds to the epic effect 😊

Igor wrote most sophisticated pieces for Dimash, their collaboration created epic masterpieces. I believe that Igor was also successful in keeping Dimash within some boundaries. When Dimash started to sing these pieces later on his own he started improvising. He makes all music his own. But I miss these high class pure performances with Igor. Thank you for your wonderful analysis, you are charming.

Thanks for doing this version of Ogni Pietra. My fav of the fancam versions, but I do like the Sochi version which shows the dancers. Probably my fav of his songs. I wish Igor would write him a full opera. I do like Dimash in the rain at the Chinese mountain concert. Two sides of Dimash. He always raises our spirits.

"This guy is just crazy good." The Italian lyrics are not by Lara Fabian, rather by the Russian poetess Lilia Vinogradova. Master Igor Yakovlevich Krutoi (you mispronounced it) wrote this song as the anthem for the 2nd European Olympics, late June 2019. Igor Yakovlevich wrote the anthem purposefully so difficult that only Dimash would be able to sing it. Its being an anthem explains the operatic features of it. Thank you very much for your truly appreciative commentary. I share your sentiments completely.

WOW, H That was a really awesome reaction to this song, written especially for Dimash to perform at the opening ceremony of the European games last summer. The story goes that Igor said he'd written a cantata for Baritone, Tenor and Soprano to which Dimash said "I will take them all" !!!
