Might have already been said, but Dimash was a musical child prodigy born to musician parents in Kazakhstan. He began voice and piano training at age 5, 1st performed publicly at 6, graduated from High School for the Arts at 15, earned a BA in classical/operatic voice at 22, and was offered a position with The Kazakhstan National Opera Company but turned it down to pursue a career in Neo-Classical Music which is sometimes called Popera which blends many genres including opera/pop/rock/R & B & folk. Dimash is unique for a number of reasons. He has totally focused his life on becoming a great singer since age 6. Through natural genetic gift, he didn't lose his soprano register at puberty. In fact he has only expanded it while still developing great singing mastery in the baritone and bass range. Through massive amounts of training, he has developed vocal mastery of breath control, different timbres/tones, control of dynamics, and he has had perfect pitch since the age of 2. He is an opera singer whose favorite singer is Michael Jackson, and he is also highly trained in pop vocal techniques. He has performed around the world for the past 5 years while also bring a student in a music PhD university program. DIMASH I love your channel but in all honesty I only watch Dimash videos. Nothing personal just music doesn't fill me after him. @@HistoryBuff Dimash has been entering musical competitions since he was about 6 and has won every one he entered. That is until he was invited as a wildcard entrant into a Chinese singing show, called 'I Am a Singer ' in 2017, for professional singers who were already established in China. Unknown to the other contestants and 500 audience members who were the judges. After the first show aired of him being the first to perform (with SOS) on the first show 600 million viewers went nuts for him and he was so swamped by fans he has needed bodyguards ever since, lol. The rest is history. Dimash did not win here, but placed second. Many people believe that it was because they didn't want a non Chinese to win but I don't think that's totally true. Dimash knocked most of his performance out of the park, but as it was a 14 weeks long programme Dimash found himself having to learn songs in a week, in languages he had never spoken, such as English and Mandarin. Some of his performance were lacking if honest, but he doesn't care about where he placed. He did it for the exposure and it worked, putting him firmly out front for the world to see and appreciate. He has refused to let the industry dictate how and who he will be, and has achieved all his success whilst still being true to himself. He has created a whole new style with is unmistakably his and he us almost impossible to sing along with. Even songs which he makes sound simple are extremely complex. He can pick and choose exactly what sound, level of intensity, and style he wants to come out of his mouth but he uses every part of his mind, body and spirit to become the embodiment of each piece. Dimash recently turned twenty-seven. Despite his boyish appearance he is actually tall. He began formal training at age five. His mother is an opera soprano. His father is a pop musician. His native languages are Kazak and Russian. He is improving greatly in English and learning Mandarin. He sings in twelve languages. He holds two master's degrees in music and in working on a Ph.D.

The vocal coaches love him for all of the obvious reasons. He does sing rock and pop - listen to his cover of Queen. Lots of genres. Plays dombra (national instrument of Kazakhstan) piano, drums, guitar. He was offered a position with Astana Opera and refused because he wants a cross-over career. Mom is a professional opera singer, dad is a contemporary singer. His piano teacher realized he has perfect pitch when he was 5, and he's been studying voice ever since. He's incredibly dedicated - swam for hours every day in high school to develop his lungs. The more traditional place to first start with Dimash is SOS or Sinful Passion, but for something REALLY different, just to get a sense of the scope, you might want to watch his recent video "Be With Me." Classic pop video - but better. Check it not for his voice, but for his performance talents and rapping. What ever you do - have fun with it! Dimash Kudaibergen (koo-die-bear-gen, with a hard G) is a phenomenon from Kazakhstan. He started singing lessons at 5 years old and was found to have perfect pitch. He is University educated with degrees in classical and opera, another in contemporary music, pop and jazz, was a major in Vogel technique. He also completed a Broadway musical master class. On June 18th, 2020 he completed his masters specializing in composition and received his masters with honours having achieved the maximum score of 100%. He has since started his PhD. He currently has a vocal range of over 6 octaves but he is humbly dismissive of this astounding fact and stresses that it is not the amount of both arrange you have but in fact what you do with it. He has won many prestigious awards and is a decorated national treasure in his native Kazakhstan. He has performed songs in 12 different languages. He speaks fluent Russian and Kazakh, some Chinese and is pretty good in English and Is still studying it along with Mandarin which he says is a difficult language to learn but he's doing well with it. At 22 he was invited as a wild card to participate in a Chinese singing show for professional singers. The show catapulted him to relative stardom worldwide and he became a pop superstar in China. He is also famous in Russia for his neoclassical work with famous Russian/Ukrainian composer and arranger Igor Krutoy who came out of retirement to collaborate with Dimash. He has written songs for Dimash and arranged previously composed music specifically for Dimash. He is often at the piano for many of Dimash's performances. Dimash has since introduced pop songs in Russia as well. His vocals range from a rich low baritone to extremely high soprano notes. On at least one occasion he has Hit a D8 in whistle tone for 5 seconds with vibrato. He was on a solo world tour when the pandemic struck. His concerts are usually about 3 hours with an eclectic mix of vocal styles and genres. He was born into a musical family and both of his parents are famous singers and musicians in Kazakhstan, his mother being an operatic soprano. He was offered a position in the Astana Opera in Kazakhstan but turn this position down to pursue his own path in neoclassical and contemporary music. He's a multi-instrumentalist, competent on 8 instruments including piano, drums and the native Turk/Kazakhstan two-stringed instrument called a dombra. As of May 24th, 2021 he will celebrate his 27th birthday. He is most widely known through his live performances that has released several albums the first one going platinum in 37 seconds and triple platinum in less than an hour. It has been recognized that his high notes are not whistle tones but head voice. Dimash rarely uses his whistle register but when he does it is spectacular. He has many millions of fans worldwide which he has designated his "Dears" He is soft spoken, polite, respectful, elegant and classy, also extremely humble and seldom goes without mentioning his love of country and its history. Dimash is from Kazakhstan (formerly USSR) He might be slim but he is 6ft 3ins tall! This is from one of Dimash’s solo concerts. Dimash sings all genres including rock, folk rock, pop, opera, folk. Dimash is THE greatest vocalist of ALL time! He is 27, this was 2019 I think. Dimash says he is a Tenor, but he can do ALL registers including whistle tone (off the piano!) This performance is from Dimash's sold out solo concert ARNAU KINETIC VOICE in Nur Sultan, Kazakhstan in front of 40,000 fans from 64 countries. 13,552 were international fans that travelled to Kazakhstan solely for this concert - June 29th, 2019. Dimash was 25 y.o here. He turned 27 last May 24th. Congratulations on your reaction, Dimash is a very humble and simple boy, for what i have read and seen he highly appreciates his roots and exposes them when he can in his presentations. He is very respectful of everyone and kind. He was competing in The World´s Best in 2019 but he retired. This caused annoyance in Rupaul but Dimash was more concerned with leaving the little ones that competed with him frustrated and seeing the level and quality that he has, he would very likely have won. By the way the prize was of 1,000,000.00 dollars.

I generally don't watch reactions, he is the only one that makes me want to watch people react to his songs (especially music professionals), because of his extraordinary talent. This was at a sold-out Dimash concert. He’s 6’3” so not so small. He sings the piano keyboard plus whistle tones in any genre, in twelve languages. He’s had university music training since age 5. Igor Krutoy is the famous composer who wrote this song specifically for Dimash. He is unique and the best singer on the planet.
