Thank you again for the great reaction. Dimash is a wonder to behold. There is a line from one of my favorite Sci-Fi movies about a phenomenon getting infinite power to do the impossible. I am always reminded by Dimash's performances of this line. His Physiology, training, and force of will supplies him with an infinite ability to go anywhere with his voice. It almost is "supernatural".

It's not just that he sings high and low. He completely becomes an operatic baritone/tenor and then sings long sections of rich baritone and high tenor. When goes to the alto/soprano part, he takes on a female sound and sings so cleanly and with really sustained high soprano parts, where his voice doesn't become really thin, but stays nice and full. Just the absolute endurance of singing all these high parts for so long is shocking, always maintaining full rich tone.

Lllia Vinogradova is the poet who wrote the lyrics to the song. In her interview she said that the title of the song is "Olympico". The song starts with a line "Ogni pietra ed ogni fior..." (each stone and each flower).

The song is called Olypico, Igor asked that it should be called by its proper name instead of the first two words in the lyrics. It's was a mistake by some original reactors as they guessed the name by referring to Ogni Pietra, the first two words. Unfortunately thus name persists and has become accepted by most people that it has both names. Even Dimash has it as such on the version from his 2019 Kazakhstan concert on his channel. There is no event called Olympico, the song was premiered at the 2nd European Games which is nothing to do with the Olimpics.

Olimpico is in Italian... And this is why it sounds so good... You know.. Italian is the better language for the opera style... It's just because the sound of the vowels and certain consonant (like r) allows you to have the perfect mouth's opening to reach low and high tones. Anyway, Dimash's Italian in this song is perfect, no accent at all❤️
