Great reaction, Anastasia! This was a short-lived show that brought together the best singers from around the world to compete for a million dollars. The performance was spectacular and is well worth watching---especially for the reaction of the judges, in my opinion. However, some of the Dears boycott the videos from this show because Dimash was ultimately disrespected in some of the worst ways imaginable---not the least of which they told him he wouldn't be competing against children, and then they had him compete against children, and they edited all of the performances as well. The three main judges were Drew Barrymore, Rupaul and Faith Hill---and James Corden was the host. When Dimash found out he would be competing against children, he respectfully withdrew. The judges reacted brutally and unfairly. It is painful for many Dears to see someone discovering Dimash for the first time landing on this particular video due to how they feel about the show. However, since you already know Dimash well, I think it is imperative for any true fan to witness this performance anyway and I'm glad you have, and that you now know the history of this show. The other performances are worth watching as well, now that you know the whole story.

The thing I love about this performance is that he had a fever or something to that effect and of course he was not going to stand the audience up and performed anyway. Would not be the first time, since on the Singer he performed Daybreak after having some issues vocally, some temp voice loss. Over all massive respect to this guy.

This isn't Dimash's best performance of SOS. He has pitch issues... as well, the show cut out some of the song. Literally, this show was made for Dimash. Part of the prize was also a 2 year touring contract. Can you imagine the money that would be made from that? The show would have made a fortune promoting and touring Dimash. Dimash demanded in writing a promise that he would not compete against children. The show agreed, knowing that he would be. Throughout the performances, all contestants were kept apart. Until the finals, where Dimash saw 2 other contestants behind stage. He knew one if them. They were young girls, low teens. After his performance that day, before any judging, he asked the the mic and respectfully withdrew from the compilation, saying they had lied to him about competing with children. Randolph was furious... as he saw millions of dollars flying out of his pockets. Since, Dimash has never agreed to contracts that would control him. As well, it is like western music industries have black-listed him.

Unfortunately you unknowingly didn't make a good choice with this video. As a rule, most Dears boycott these performances by The Worlds Best. Dimash was lied to and scammed before this show into signing for this show. In his culture children are supported and not competed with. When Dimash asked if he would have to compete against children on this show, he was assured that he didn't. Otherwise he would never have signed. When he happened to bump into the then 12-year-old Daneliya Tuleshova backstage at his last performance (the artists were strictly separated), he learned that he had to compete not only with her, but also with a 7-year-old boy. He then performed and then immediately asked the jury for his resignation. The jury's reaction was beyond offensive and inappropriate. Agree 100% of everything you said. I don`t watch these reaction videos of this competition for the reasons you stated. Please react to the I am singer competition in China 2017 for professional singers. American music industry should watch and learn, how you do these shows in a way where the art and the artist play the biggest role and they only show short clips of the other contestants and the audience.
