This is the Gala concert of the Chinese project “I am a Singer”, where Dimash acted as an invited guest and performed the premiere of the song “Angel love”. The music and lyrics of the song were created by famous Kazakh masters - composer Renat Gaisin and poet Kalkamal Sarin. Especially for the Chinese audience, Dimash performed a song in Kazakh and Chinese. This composition is beautiful, isn't it? Dimash, like a great artist, paints images and evokes sincere feelings with his performance.

The genesis of this song, as described by DIMASH NEWS: Renat Gaissin shared the story behind the song’s creation with DimashNews: “A few years ago, while looking at the clouds through an airplane window, I was inspired by the extraordinarily beautiful scene and composed the melody, immediately recording it on a voice recorder to remember it. During the pandemic, when we were working on the composition ‘Qairan Elim,’ I showed this melody to Dimash, but due to constant traveling and touring, we only now got the chance to work on this song. Not long ago, Dimash called me and said he would like to sing this song at the ‘I Am a Singer’ Gala Concert. He asked me to create the lyrics in Kazakh. I immediately called my close friend, one of the country’s best poets, Kalkaman Sarin. We connected over the phone, and inspired by the melody, Kalkaman wrote beautiful, emotional lyrics. It was perhaps a true moment of synergy, where the poet understood my state of mind instantly. I would call this piece a Romantic Poem. Dimash himself named the song. ‘Angel Love’ is a song about true, pure, and tender love.” Especially for the Chinese audience, Dimash performed the song in both Kazakh and Chinese. Thank you for your reaction. It is my understanding that this was composed in memory of a young fan. When he was in Malaysia for his concert, there was a youth with terminal cancer who "Made a Wish" to go to Dimash's concert. Unfortunately, the health of the youth would not permit it. The wish was then changed to meeting Dimash. Dimash and his family went to the hospital to visit with the young fan who has since passed. The lyrics are in Kazakh, however on the day of the concert, Dimash had the last verse translated to Chinese to honor the Chinese audience. This is the final concert of the 2024 season of "Singer" and participants are performing songs of their choice. This is the premier of this song. This song is heartbreakingly beautiful.

@@NancyBayona-bj2ruDimash didn’t write the song per DimashNews. A Kazakh composer looked out an airplane window at the clouds and heard the melody. He immediately recorded it. Dimash later heard it and liked it. A month or so ago Dimash told the composer that he wanted to sing the song at Singer 2024’s ultimate finale. The composer asked a Kazakh poet to write the lyrics. When Dimash produces a song, the music evokes as much emotion as his voice does. If what the commentator said below is true, an emotional tribute to the departed Dear, you can hear the tears in his music and voice. I suspect this also evoked his own departed Grandfather along with the Dear young man whose wish to see a Dimash concert could not be granted so Dimash visited him in the hospital in Malaysia. This was exactly the same time Dimash was still grieving for the death of his Grandfather two weeks before the Malaysian concert. Doubly sad. I hope he will upload this song to his KZbin channel soon. (edited to clarify Dimash did not compose the song but it has his fingerprints all over it 😘of course).

Estimado buenos dias, gran reaccion como todas las que usted hace, el fue invitado a este programa "I am singer" el cual fue el que lo catapulto a la fama en 2017 y aqui en esta oportunidad hizo 2 presentaciones, un dueto con la participante Shantee Moore de una cancion de Teddy Swims llamada "Lose Control" y esta segunda cancion Angel Love la cual compuso Dimash para una de sus dears que tenia una enfermedad terminal y que lamentablemente fallecio y el le compuso esta canción.

El se hizo conocido en ese concurso en 2017 , es una competición china y a partir de ahí fue un boom, en esta ocasión ha ido como artista invitado....el quedó en segunda posición porque según las "reglas" del concurso tenia que ganar un cantante chino (era la primera vez que entraba en la competición un artista de otro país, DIMASH, no sé si ahora habrán cambiado las normas.
