This is my favorite version of SOS now, because the pure notes of the cello intertwine so beautifully with Dimash’s pure tone. The sound melts me, sends my heart soaring. 🎉❤🎉

Hauser is actually a huge artist himself, in terms of followers and concerts, he is probably more famous because he’s been playing as a part of 2cellos until last year all over the world and has collaborated with so many artists it’s hard to count. I believe it all started with Elton John hearing 2cellos play and taking them on a tour 10 years ago or something.

Thanks for your reaction. I have not had a chance to see Dimash in concert yet, but definitely on my dream list. I am fortunate that I will get to see Hauser in concert in February though!!! So excited! Dimash is my favorite, but Hauser is a different kind of phenom. You may enjoy checking out Hauser when he was part of "2Cellos." Try "Thunderstruck" (yesa cover from ACDC!) official video from the 2 Cellos KZbin page. You will be blown away! They seriously completley shred their bows! I think it would be amazing for Dimash and Hauser to have a concert together or at least a couple of songs together at one of their concerts. My husband is from Irealand (Fermoy) so we get back there every year to visit family.

Dimash and Hauser met earlier this year; they also do Igor Krutoy's composition for Dimash of Ave Maria together! SOS is known as Dimash's "calling card," even though it was written before he was born, he has made it his own and performs it at every concert!

Dimash and Hauser know each other from the Virtuoso competition 2023 in Hungary. This competition was created by Maestro Placido Domingo for young classical artists and Dimash and Hauser were there as judges. That's how it all started: In 2017 Dimash received a wildcard for the “The Singer” competition in China. He was the youngest participant ever (22 years old). Foreign participants were actually forbidden at that time. The director ignored the ban, believing Dimash would only stay 1 or 2 episodes and then go home. This competition is not a talent show.
