Dimash es ÚNICO, yo no he escuchado a nadie que pueda igualar el poderío de su voz. Le descubrí por casualidad en el 2019 y me dejó en shock. Pero Dimash no vino solo, gracias a él me adentré en el mundo asiático y comprobé que el talento abunda. Hoy por hoy mis artistas favoritos son asiáticos. Throughout my life I have dealt with all genres of music, but I have never heard a talent as great as Dimash both in terms of technique, versatility and immersion in each and every one of his performances. Honestly, I would recommend you view his performances on the Chinese show I Am A Singer (2017?). That will give you a great idea of his talent and where he officially “came out” and hit big. Everything after that is awesome to watch as it pertains to his growth.

But maybe start with his appearance on a competition in China, 2017 called I Am A Singer, a must-see to understand how he got recognized there, and then the rest of the world. America is way behind other countries, mostly bc he does not have a contract with any big music company, thank goodness. He has his own company, DimashAli, and does things his own way. He is great in any genre, sings in 16 languages, is very well-trained, highly intelligent and a very good person. You will find out as you watch more. Dimash is from Kazakhstan, and a proud cultural ambassador for his country too. He was trained in classical voice from childhood, but also in all contemporary styles / genres as well. He describes his music as a cross over between the two. Dimash was well known already across most of Eastern Europe, winning every song competition he entered, before being invited in 2017, then aged 23, as a wild card entrant, to be part of the Chinese "Singer" Competition - for established artists. {* A large scandal blew up when he came in Runner-Up' there, as it was clear to millions of his new Chinese Fans, and everyone else, that he was the clear winner. The shows' producers then came out and 'explained' that their rules were 'only a Chinese Citizen could take the top spot' - and 'when they'd invited him they hadn't expected him to do so well!' For some reason they were surprised when this answer inflamed his fans more! With so many furious fans 'shouting' on social media in both countires it almost blew up into an 'international incident!' The leadership of both countries then came out with a diplomatic solution - and a new Honorable Role was created, so now Dimash is the 'Kazakh / Chinese Cultural Ambassador' ( or some such title). Dimash takes this role very seriosly, visits China often, performing there, and has been studying the language. Meanwhile, the nexxt year The Singer Show changed that rule, and the UK Singer; Jesse J came on and Won! It doesn't really matter that he didn't take top spot in the 2017 show, as all of his performances on that season, hit the net, stunning everyone and went viral worldwide. { You can still find some of his fans [ called Dears ] who grumble about it though. 🤣 } 🤩Oh yeah... and just to round off the story, not long after this 2017 'upset' a completely separate competition was held in China. This was a group of Astronomers - who ran an on-line competition offering the opportunity to 'Name the next 'Newly Discovered Star'. You guessed it! Hordes of Disgruntled Dimash Dears raced to vote a name for this on-line, and that's why we now have an actual STAR swinging about somewhere out in the Andromeda Galaxy named DIMASH QUDAIBERGEN! Great to see you are continuing to explore Dimash He is incredible. He is only one of my top ten people to listen to. Such a diverse and dynamic performer. I don't consider myself a Dear (his fandom) but I do follow him and enjoy his performances. Check out Smoke, Olymipico, Stranger, Ikanaide and so many more. Also, I recommend that you check out another amazing performer with a huge following that is often mentioned by the Dears. His name is Zhou (like Joe) Shen also named Charlie. He is a Chinese pop singer known for his ethereal vocal tone (think high like Jimin but ethereal). His voice resonates at frequencies that feel like meditation bells or sounds like a violin. His nickname is walking CD. He always sings live. He is also a prolific performer, having performed hundreds of times. He is the Chinese OST king. He just started his first world tour and is coming to London, the US, Australia, and Malaysia. His London presale sold out in 15 minutes. I recommend starting with his song Moonlight, then Da La Beng Ba (5 different voices), Song of Heaven Island, Decoded, Silence of the Lamb, You are Ruthless (where he raps), etc. Chinese stages are amazing.

This Digital Show and performance was produced by Dimash and his team during the quarantine for his audience around the world. 🌹 Dimash is a world class artist from Kazakhstan, turned 30 on the 24th of May but touring the world to sell out arenas with his solo concerts, he also performs in concerts with the famous Ukrainian/Russian composer Igor Krutoy, is constantly collecting awards, attends many prestigious red carpet events, film festivals and even models for lots of high end fashion houses. He is university trained in Classical opera vocals to degree level, also holds a degree in contemporary pop music and jazz with a major in vocals, and now has finished his master degree in music composition. He started his doctorate in Musicology.He has been having singing lessons from the age of 5 when his teacher noticed he had perfect pitch . He was offered a place at the Astana Opera in Kazakhstan but respectfully turned it down to pursue his own more contemporary musical career. There are so many amazing Dimash songs and I know people will suggest many of them. I think you might really enjoy Olympico. This is a song written for Dimash by the famous composer Igor Krutoy. I think this version is the best and I also think you will really appreciate the driving drums in this kind of "rock-opera" type of song. Dinah’s is incredible when it comes to vocal acrobatic! Could not imagine how many hours he had to spend to develop his voice and getting such a control over it! Regarding this specific performance I wish sound engineer made Dimash’ voice a little bit louder but it could be a recording issue. There are also few other minor things that are not worth mentioning, the performance is incredible. My favorite piece by him is Olimpico - it might be less showcasing when compared to his other tracks, but it’s just 100% my style

Thank you for the reaction video! This is just a tip of the iceberg, almost like a portfolio, there are much more of his capability. I'd suggest to do other equally impressive epic performances would be: "Stranger": mystical, soundtrack feel, "Olympico": epic, modern opera style, I haven't seen ANY reaction video that was not being blown away by it. "Sinful Passion": the performance brings the renowned composer Igor back from retirement to write songs for Dimash, he gave a standing ovation in the end of the video; "Ava Maria" is another one that's completely different but showcases his control and craftsmanship. These 4 songs are all very different in styles, and they are the best of Dimahs in each of its own category!
