What a wonderful song🥰. The lyrics are so beautiful❤️. Love Is Like A Dream was written by Igor Krutoy (the man on the piano) for the Russian singer Alla Pugacheva in 1994. Igor Krutoy is the famous Russian/Ukrainian composer, producer and songwriter. His and Dimash's collaboration created true masterpieces. He writes songs that only Dimash could sing with his vocal range, such as Olimpico, Stranger or Ave Maria. You’ll often see him accompanying Dimash on the piano. The two have no contract. Their cooperation is based more on mutual trust. It’s more like a father/son relationship. Please react next to Olimpico from his Arnau concert in 2019. In this song he sings in Italian. You can find it on Igor Krutoy‘s Channel. Olimpico is another masterpiece that Igor Krutoy wrote especially for Dimash’s vocal skills. It was written for the 2nd European Games in Minsk, Belarus 2019. And that’s why the lyrics are also very motivating. This song and this performance is my absolute favourite🥰. I think this version is the best, because his performance is so intense and breathtaking. The light show, the background dancers. Everything. With this song in this version I have gasping breath all the time. The way he represents himself on stage, the hand movements. I think he has incredibly beautiful hands🤭(and apparently many cameramen think so too, since many of the camera shots during his performances very often only show his hands. Sometimes it seems as if he is conducting himself. This is really fascinating). And the facial expression, the look. There he looks so demanding and commanding😱. In my opinion, this version of Olimpico is one of the most impressive performances ever. If you don't know what the song is about, you'd think he was going to war and is calling his army to a lost battle 😅! It’s absolutely stunning. And I don't even mean the vocal part, but also his stage presence. The whole package. Oh wow I’m starting to rave again…🤤 Sorry but I can’t help it🥺. Sweetie, I always cry with several of his performances. He doesn't just perform the music, he breathes it into our hearts & souls. They haven't invented a description that would do this young man justice. I'm 70 & have been a Dear since 2017. I must hear his talents each & everyday to be sure it isn't a beautiful dream but in reality it is a beautiful dream that we have the opportunity to behold the greatest vocalist in over 150 yrs.. He's a master of the masters. His talent, heart & soul are untouchable. This I'm grateful for bc he deserves all of the accolades that keep coming in his direction. The first time I heard this song was three years ago, without knowing Dimash. Of course I don't understand Russian, but when the song ended, tears naturally flowed down my face. It was very strange. Why do tears flow? Ave's voice sounded like an angel's, and it made my whole body tingle.

I still have a cd of Alla singing this song for over 25 years ago, and when i heard DIMASH do this song in tribute to her ; I was blown away, it was a favorite song for me. I listened to several Russian singers who stated on TV they would not be singing this song again, after DIMASH who could do it any better. They were certainly right.

When Dimash performs at the Kremlin, he says he doesn't need ear-ins because the acoustics there are so excellent. (There are other videos that confirm this) Maestro Igor Krutoy (piano) and Dimash presented the song first on Alla Pugachova's 70th birthday on April 2019. She is a famous singer in Russia. The event took place in the Crocus City Hall in Moscow. Maestro Krutoy composed this song 28 years ago for Alla Pugacheva. Valerya Gorbacheva wrote the beautiful words. Now Igor and Dimash have refreshed the song and Dimash made it his song, incomparably beautiful. The interpretation is completely different from the original. I melt away every time I hear the song. * Igor Krutoy, *1954 in Ukraine SSR. He lives and works in Moscow/ Russia. He is singer, a world- famous composer and music titan in Russia (billionaire). Hello! I m Mária Magyaaar and I ve been following Dimash since 2016 and watching his progress. He played the piano at the age of and his grandmother took him to music school every day. He plays seven instruments, and sings in 13 languages.
