Dimash always has the right attitude whatever genre of music he is singing. If it’s rock, he acts and dresses like a rock star, if it’s pop, he acts like a pop star, if he’s singing opera, he wears the correct clothes and stands there respectful of the orchestra and other singers. He just slips in and out of every occasion on stage, exactly how he should. Love him so much.

Dimash did an interview the other day, and he talked about the great honor of singing with Placido Domingo. I love all the varied aspects of Dimash's music! Many of the genres are so different from each other, it's hard to believe it's the same guy.

Same for me. I never listen to Opera. Only when Dimash sings, I always love it! I do admire those who can sing Opera, but if Dimash had decided to take the safe road when offered a place in the Astana Opera Company, I would never have heard or cared. Sad, but true.

Great reaction to Dimash showing yet again his ability to sing virtually any style of music in any language. You said that you're enjoying exploring different musical styles and artists. May I recommend another fantastic young singer from the UK, 20 year old Lucy Thomas. She has released 5 studio albums and has 70 + videos on utube. Many reactors seem to think that she has the most beautiful female voice on the planet, I'd love to hear what you think.

All music can provide this, and classical music is the first, which often addresses the particular soul: it would bring down blood pressure, would stimulate concentration and brain activity!! This performance, almost off the cuff (since Placido and Dimash decided 2 days before) is part of a musical work by the composer Bizet (famous for the opera "Carmen") composed in 1863. The story tells the friendship between 2 fishermen, the young and the old, which is threatened by their love for the same woman. Dimash made one of his childhood dreams come true because Placido Domingo, a great tenor, was his idol when he was a child. I think Rick really likes Dimash and his songs. Some KZbinrs go to see Dimash for various concerts and only talks about it afterwards. That must be real interest, not just "likes". The most important thing is that Dimash is exposed to as many people as possible in order to become more known in the world ❤ I am glad to see that the number of Dimash followers on KZbin is increasing, even though it is still too small a number. Dimash has not formally trained classically for over 25 years for nothing. Placido's grandson introduced him to Dimash via youtube and he was enthralled. This was/is a music competition Domingo holds every year for up-and-coming young people training as classical musicians. He asked Dimash to be a judge at the competition and they put this duet together to perform but only for the judges. Domingo turned 82 a couple of days after this. I think he is still a great singer.

This was part of the finales of Virtuoso, a competition for young classical artists, held back in December of 2023, Budapest, Hungary 🇭🇺. Dimash was invited by Placido Domingo, one of the original Three Tenors from 1990’s, a living legend, to be a jury member. Dimash’s operatic voice is so warm, so rich, and so amazing. You have reacted to his Olympico, where you got a taste of his classical operatic abilities. Here he is in full operatic mode and he is simply wonderful. Yes, he was offered a post to sing as a lyric tenor at the Astana Opera right out of his university graduation, but he turned it down. He didn’t want to limit himself to just singing opera. Who can blame him? He is so good in any genre he wants to sing in. The piece is about 2 men pledging their friendship over their love for the same woman, goddess, that was referred in the song. Hi, Dimash was recovering from a cold and cough (u can see it in a previous vid) He never quits, he never says no and continues to perform when he is sick. Go to his London and New York concerts to see him when he was younger. I think going back a few years will show how he has progressed. Right now u are watching later performances which are amazing, but he has always done everything @ 100percent. Also see some of his Qazaq songs, Amanat, Durduraz, Quiran Elim, Samaltau. You can find most of them on his official channel. If u havent seen all of The Singer competition in 2017, please watch it, including before and after he performs to see how he interacts with the other performers. He made friends with some of them. I believe this will show you all sides of this extremely talented yet humble young man. Thanks for your reactions.

Well, you could have it on your wedding day.... so long as you (and everyone else) didn't know what the words meant 😂😂😂 Otherwise they'd all be talking about your best man (or best friend) being in love with the bride. But the sentiment is wonderful in this song and you can really feel it. It's uplifting. They swear to be friends forever even if they love the same woman. However the difference is that neither of them can have her - unlike in a wedding where the groom wins! The voices are so beautiful that it makes me feel emotional. I'm so happy to hear Dimash singing in his operatic style with the amazing and world famous operatic tenor Placido Domingo. He fell in love with singing from a tape of Domingo when he was a little boy. It is his childhood dream come true. Unbelievably, Placido was fan boying Dimash when he first met him, he had tears in his eyes. He couldn't wait to hear him sing and suggested they did a duet together. Great reaction as always. Yes, he can sing opera, too. He is trained in classical singing. He turned down an offer from the Astana Opera House because he didn't just want to sing opera. Luckily for all of us. Although I do really love when he sings that. I love his deeper tones. I wish he would do that a bit more often. It's a duet with Plácido Domingo from George Bizet's Opera "The Pearl Fishers". It's about two friends who both love the same woman. But they decide that their friendship will not break because of this. In the opera world Plácido Domingo is a legend. He sang together with Luciano Pavarotti and Jose Carreras. I don't know if you've ever heard of „The Three Tenors“. Here maestro Plácido Domingo sings the baritone part whereas Dimash sings the tenor part. He and Dimash were judges in a talent-show for young classical talents in Budapest, Hungary. And in this show one of his biggest dreams came true with this duet. If you love his lower register too, then you will enjoy the performance where he sang the national anthem of Kazakhstan.
