Dimash is a genius! A great storyteller and paradigm breaker! Anyone who watched the video, made by a fan with his cell phone, of Dimash's show in Hong Kong, had the pleasure of a first contact with the song “When I've Got You” and realized, in Dimash's own music and in the lyrics by Candice Kelly and Dmytro Gordon, a romantic, seductive and passionate song sung with Dimash's own virtuosity. There was tension and anxiety in being able to watch the studio version with better sound quality... Now, with the release of this music video, we realize how creative Dimash is: A suspense video with a “noir” atmosphere, but without being located in the past, and a tale of passion about a supernatural creature who feels alone and needs to fulfill his passion for a mortal woman who suffers for wanting and not wanting turn her into one of his supernatural creatures. Iskander Yerbolat's plot intrigues us to solve the mystery of the entire tale being a dream of a journalist who interviews “DQ”, or being a reality where the “vampire” did not bite his “prey” out of love! Intriguing... The video is a show in itself: Desaturated with vivid red details (umbrella, blood in the hands, blood in the pool, advertising sign, neon on the mirror...), a classic Rolls Royce, a gloomy and modern mansion and lots of details. As background music, he uses the work “Flower Duet” (Lakimé) by Léo Delibes. To create an old and suspenseful atmosphere, he does not use the 1968 edition and recording, by Joan Sutherland and Jane Berbié, but rather the original version from 1915, sung by Alexandrovna Mikhailova and Ivanovna Panina, recorded with a gramophone! The music video is a story that pays homage to several classic dramas involving supernatural creatures and passion! Начало :роллс-ройс(ретро -тоже посыл и имеет смысл), Над головой девушки (Полина Гузиева-чемпионка по легкой атлетики,Мисс Евразия) - SMALL,зонтик(красным цветом)Акцент для любопытных. SMALL-торговая сеть в Казахстане(Алматы). Вот и ответ,где снимался фильм. Звучит старая патефонная запись(французская опера Lakme.Дуэт цветов 1915г.).Не случайно. Колоритная фигура дворецкого (Мануэль Де Хесус Санчес Сотолонго-кубинец,учитель танцев в Алматы),красивое здание .Готика?Нет,но не без претензии. Доспехи,маска,синяя накидка с белым орнаментом. Вот и сложились все акценты. Орнамент-символ Франции.Это французская резиденция в Казахстане(Алматы). И красные титры и явная схожесть нашего героя (с кем?) Имеют смысл. Thriller-Майкл Джексон(1983г.) Вот и схожесть с М.Джексоном. Димаш большой поклонник Майкла. Можно сказать, воплотил Майкла в себе,отдав дань уважения. Главный герой за ним ковен ведьм ,изображающий нечто движением рук.Отсыл.Это богиня Калли (вот и отсыл.Санскрит ,Лакшми(Лакме),индуизм-богиня внезапной смерти,кармического воздаяния,причем ,смерть является продолжением жизни. Перед нами мертвеннобледный главный герой,нечто неживое. ( главные герои оперы Лакме-индийский офицер и француженка.Это же надо так понимать ,видеть,объединить все до мелочей!). Танец главной героини ,движения свободные ,плавные,что не скажешь о подданых хозяина.Их движения хаотичные,ломаные,потому что он подавил их волю,свободу. Вампир наклоняется ...,но не кусает блондинку.Почему?Потому ,что влюблен.И оставляет за ней свободу,право выбора. Обратите внимание ,как главный герой,как бы изподтишка наблюдает за девушкой.Любопытство,наивность,восхищение,удивление.Так дети смотрят на что-то новое!(так великолепно передать одним взлядом!?Действительно,Димаш-Актер высшего класса!) О чем фильм.О любви,конечно.Вечной,чистой,светлой,способной вырвать из лап смерти. Что мы и слышим. Приснилось девушке?Нет.О чем свидетельствуют заголовки в газете(Откроете закулисную тайну в самом первом экскюзивном интервью Д.Кудайбергена неизвестной журналистке).И ,если учесть,что сценарий пренадлежит Димашу,но он еще и композитор,и исполнитель-все заголовки неслучайны. "Ежедневные новости бит музыки".Вот мы и подобрались к музыкальной части фильма. Здесь мы и вспомним роллс-ройс -ретро. Отсыл ранний. Бит-музыка-жанр музыки,зародившийся в Великобритании в начале 60-х годов. Представляет собой сплав рок-н-ролла,ду-вопа,скиффла,ритм-энд-блюза и соула. Фактически является предвесницей рока.Доминирует чистая гитара,сильный и гармоничный вокал и четкая партия ударных инструментов. Что и прозвучало в фильме,что мы и прослушали. Можно еще много-много говорить . Но, даже это дает понимание великого таланта Димаша. Ничего случайного,все детали органично связаны,ничего лишнего. Это-Творец,Мастер,Архитектор !!! I loved this video. Must say that when released, it sure created a stir among Dears and newcomers alike😂 Super handsome Dimash as a vampire. Great reaction and one of the very few to mention the contrast with the lyrics. I thought it would also work well with a King talking about his queen but you are right about on a beach or that any "love relationship" would work. 🥰🥰Much love from a Canadian Dear🇨🇦

This is a mash up of Bram Stoker's 'Dracula", "Interview With a Vampire", Michael Jackson's "Thriller" and Meatloaf's "Bat Out of Hell". All of Dimash's music videos are cinematic. He composed this song last year while he was in LA along with "Smoke". I love it when Dimash pushes the boundaries.

As an Opera singer, you have acting lessons, but Dimash is a natural. His mv's are always very creative. 3 of his mv's I can think of that are like mini movies are Golden, Be With Me &, last but certainly not least his omv for The Story of One Sky. They are all brilliant. Dears have been saying for a long time that they could see him as a James Bond type character in a movie. These little mini movies gives Dimash a chance to act. If he did a full on movie, which people often say he could do, but that would take him away from his music which he prob wouldn’t want, so mini movies are perfect. He’s got several which I don’t believe you have reacted too yet, starting with a very basic one which I believe was a college project, with his friends, called My Beauty.
