Please keep watching Dimash's videos and you will see how very talented he is. He wrote this song, and he never compromises his music to anyone but himself. He is the real deal. His father Kanat is the producer. There are no other performers more genuine than him. He sings everything from opera to rap and everything in between. He needs no one else.

What can they do with him? Completely wrong approach. The reason why he doesn't have a producer is because he wants to decide for himself what he does. He is a completely independent artist. He is managed by his father Kanat, who founded his own company "DimashAli Creative Center". The logo can be seen at the beginning of many of Dimash's videos. Maybe that’s the reason you never heard of him yet. He doesn’t sell his soul to a music label. He doesn’t want to be dictated by money when he has to sing what, when, where and how. And he is already penomenal. He has many incredibly great music videos. The most of them are like mini-movies. And with that one he surprised us fans. Again. There he showed us a completely different side of himself. Not only is he a great (in my opinion the greatest) singer, but also an incredibly talented actor. He made a very convincing vampire. I love that. I love that genre a lot. I was so curious about this video and I think with that he has set the bar very high for his future music videos. What a great song. A wide range again. Many of the reactors don’t realize it because it's not this obvious. Excellent riffs and runs. A really great guitar solo. I think he had a lot of fun playing the seducer. It is now one of my favorite music videos. The funny thing is that I said this in his other MVs too😅 What a great and intense video. OMG. His eyes. His gaze. He got us. Dimash spent time in Los Angeles last year working with Walter Afanasieff (Baby Love) and met with David Foster, but nothing has come of that to date. Dimash is fiercely independent and does not want to be restricted by music producers or record labels in terms of what he can create. That may forever keep him from being widely known in western countries but for his hard core and growing group of fans around the world we are supportive of his ability to produce complex and creative music that incorporates sounds from everywhere, and which is not so mainstream as much of the rather mediocre music that has been produced in the west in recent years.

Dimash never uses autotune, he doesn't need to. One of the reactors who is also a vocal coach said of the part "Just a man in a man's world" that he creates that sound by 'folding' 3 parts of his vocal chords at the same time, and he was blown away that Dimash could do that. The thing is Dimash has trained his voice for 25 years & still continues to train & rehearse every day & will still see his teachers whenever he gets the chance. He treats his voice like his instrument, which it is, & continues to work on & improve it all the time. He doesn't take it for granted. As for autotune, there have been some who have accused him of it, so somebody did an experiment by trying to autotune his voice next to his original vocals & his original vocals sounded much better than having it autotuned! All of the performances you are reacting to, unless it is an official mv, are live performances & he sounds amazing singing live. Dimash is a brilliant composer as well as vocalist, as you said. He does not use auto-tune, and sounds the same, or even better, live. Michael Jackson influences a lot of his music; he’s a huge fan. You might enjoy the official MV for “Be With Me.” It’s a more American style pop/r&b song, but with Dimash’s own style and flair. He can’t be put in a genre-box though; every song is its own unique thing!

Dimash has a masters degree in Jazz and Contemporary Music. He received the highest complement by the famous composer and producer Walter Afanasieff for this song. Dimash production company is DimashAli which is managed by his father Kanat Aitbayev. Dimash is a composer, lyricist, and music producer. When he covers a song he is the one who rewrites the music and instructs the orchestra what type of sound he wants. He even chooses the instruments that he wants in the song. Make no mistake, Dimash produces every one of his songs (designs the vocal structure and how he sings each note). The music arrangement in this song is a collaboration with Dmytro Gordon, who has collaborated with Walter Afanasieff, and Dimash. The author of the lyrics is Candace Kelly. Dimash worked with Dmytro and Candace while he was in Los Angeles last year to work with Nathan Wang a soundtrack composer. Nathan is working on a new Jackie Chan movie soundtrack (I believe it might be The Myth #2 sequel to The Myth 2005 movie but no way to tell yet). If you watch Dimash's many behind the scenes of him working in studio on the music of his songs, Dimash is very hands on with the music arrangements of his music and re-arrangements of covers and his own music depending on the venue where he will perform. He changes up his music constantly. If you haven't watched his other movie like MVs, you have a treat coming. 😄

Dimash composed the song, had his words put into English lyrics and was the music producer. He also came up with the idea for the video as he does with all of his videos in the past few years, and he worked closely with the director to make sure that his vision was perfectly executed. He is able to sing and style, and genre of music from rap to opera and can sing in any language, 15 so far but in an interview he said any language. He has been studying music since the age of 5, and began performing the same year. He became professional at 16 and is presently working towards finishing his PhD. He has absolute pitch, is a master of composition finishing his degree with the highest score of 100%. Dimash lives and breathes music, he once said "if you cut open my heart, you will find music, if you cut open my brain, there is music" Dimash is music. He comes from a family of musicians and performers, all his friends are musicians so its hardly surprising that music is running strongly through his veins. ❤ Dont wait up to see him sign up with any American music producers, Dimash is a totally independent artist who has his own creative centre and record label, he won't sign with any record companies or producers, he doesn't want anything that will not allow him complete artistic control. He doesn't need them, he is the boss and will only sing songs he likes, he has been busy writing and composing and I think all or most of his new songs are by him, there is also one composed by his 16 year old brother Mansur who has been a musician at all Dimashs concerts since he was 11. In 2023, Dimash was in LA for several months. The American producers were crawling all over him. Vying for a contract with him. They were falling all over themselves trying to get him He turned them all down. He had just gotten his Ph.D. and was going to film directing school in L.A. No one tells him what to do. He writes, produces and directs as he wishes. His father is his manager. Besides, all of the producers and directors in the US are wicked to the core. He has several concerts a year in different countries and sells out massive arenas so he does not need help. He is adored by tens of millions and draws massive crowds. He does not need help. He is Muslim, and he says The Almighty has smiled on him and he is very thankful for that. His name actually means "Gift From God"

He sang this song live in the Hong Kong concert and it sounded pretty much the same so definitely no auto tune used or needed. He wrote this song in Los Angeles while he was working with Walter Afanasieff who composed the Titanic theme song for Celine Dion and also wrote for Mariah Carey. He was seen with a number of people in the music industry during his time in LA including having lunch with David Foster at the Beverly Hills Polo Lounge. He's got another song coming soon called Smoke which was written around the same time.

Anyone who watched the video, made by a fan with his cell phone, of Dimash's show in Hong Kong, had the pleasure of a first contact with the song “When I've Got You” and realized, in Dimash's own music and in the lyrics by Candice Kelly and Dmytro Gordon, a romantic, seductive and passionate song sung with Dimash's own virtuosity. There was tension and anxiety in being able to watch the studio version with better sound quality... Now, with the release of this music video, we realize how creative Dimash is: A suspense video with a “noir” atmosphere, but without being located in the past, and a tale of passion about a supernatural creature who feels alone and needs to fulfill his passion for a mortal woman who suffers for wanting and not wanting turn her into one of his supernatural creatures. Iskander Yerbolat's plot intrigues us to solve the mystery of the entire tale being a dream of a journalist who interviews “DQ”, or being a reality where the “vampire” did not bite his “prey” out of love! Intriguing... The video is a show in itself: Desaturated with vivid red details (umbrella, blood in the hands, blood in the pool, advertising sign, neon on the mirror...), a classic Rolls Royce, a gloomy and modern mansion and lots of details. He may work with those in the industry, but from what I understand he has no interest in signing with any commercial recording studio. His family have gathered around to create, record & produce music. They have their own studio. Dimash now has a Doctorate in Music. His training in music starting at the age of 5. He was commented to about his talent being a gift. His response to that was very telling about his work ethic. A gift is only 10%, it takes 90% of hard work to make it work. And as he mentioned in an interview he practices vocals & music every day. If he misses even one day, to his pitch perfect ear, he notices even if we don't.

I just saw an interview from Dimash and he said he likes all kinds of music, but probably opera the least, but he does have some favorites. He loves rap . He loves heavy rock, like ACDC etc. He loves Michael Jackson music, etc. He's a wonderful all around guy. Again, love your reactions. And as for auto tune, no I don't think it was. You should hear him sing the diva dance. It's the song the blue alien sang in the movie The Fifth Element w/ Bruce Willis. It was mostly computer generated because nobody could sing that high, but of course Dimash can. He has a couple versions of it.
