Ann Dee I’m sure it’s due to the copyright. For example, the Adagio and Show Must Go Own audio is from Singer (where he was definitely singing live) but the video is from somewhere else. Singer generally has copyright issues. If you’re implying that Dimash is lip syncing, then something like 23:58 wouldn’t make sense because there’s no way any singer would make that kind of mistake when performing.

DIMASH already said in an interview that before college a singing course taught how to be an opera singer; therefore, he has a strong voice. Your voice in a crowded theater can be heard clearly. On stage, an opera singer must sing louder than an orchestra and choir. It does not need self-adjustment. A great video to answer questions about who thinks Dimash is using self-tuning. Guys, calm down. We know what he's capable of, and he certainly doesn't need auto-tune. His raw voice is awesome, and I prefer it, with its slight imperfections. He's human after all, not a robot. However, he sometimes lipsyncs, especially for TV shows or important events which require it. And some performances are post-edited before broadcasting or dubbed, even if he sang live. Like I said, he's human, he's not always perfect, and it's not fair to expect him to be. We better not let our feelings get the best of us and exaggerate. The music industry is what it is, and thankfully Dimash has a strong backbone, but even so, he needs to make certain compromises, to follow policies, and he needs to take care of that voice, he can't always be perfect, rested, healthy, and in the right mood. And it's normal for people to be skeptical with such singing, he seems unreal at times.

i have worked on countless of his shows as an audio engineer and yes he does use what we call "enhancements". I mean almost every singer does especially in big concerts or tv shows such as "the singer" in china, i was there for 3 years as an audio engineer as well, anyways. Not taking anything away from dimash, he's the best singer ever. I've heard his rehearsals live and the amount of skill and raw talent he has is out of this world, unmatched.

Why does it mention that he's not using autotune? I had understood that he never used autotune. Obviously he does just fine without it. In fact, he does magnificently. At his home (where he lives with his parents) he often goes around singing without even a microphone--singing a little child to sleep, or singing just because it's a house full of singing. The people who are very close to him, in his professional life, know that he doesn't need enhancements to sing that well---HE"S JUST THAT GOOD. In fact, they say, "Dimash doesn't need auto-tuning---Auto-tuning needs him." In other words, he's BETTER than auto-tuning. People who know this, and hear the nay-sayers who deny it, feel kind of sorry for those who can't accept how good he is. Of course, when they're doing some major recording production, for instance, something where he does duet with himself, he can't both voices at the same time. But the quality of his voice comes from two things: 1.His natural ability (he was born with perfect pitch, and a passion for singing, even in infancy) 2: The 3 hours per day, since he was only 5, when he has trained, honed and refined that perfection. (That comes to 22,995 hrs., up to his birthday in May of this year.) That's 958 days of solid training, albeit with rest in between. And that's not even including the extra time when he's preparing for, or singing in, a concert. You can try to explain perfection by looking to some high-tech equipment, but the equipment Dimash is using, is right there in his vocal chords, as well as his amazing ability to "live" a song while he performs it.

But he doesn't really need it, except maybe if he's sick or tired or so, and I prefer hearing an imperfection now and then. To be fair, I think part of the reason is because artists who genuinely have no actual talent -- a great example being Vitas (one of Dimash's influences), who's recently been exposed for faking his performances at live shows -- are able to get famous now using pre-recorded vocals, someone else's vocals, or straightup changing the notes to be "right" in a computer. Dimash, on the other hand, is actually an artist.

On shows, he may use lips sync where requires him, won't say this possibility is out of the question, but still, I doubt. I have heard him live singing and his voice is stronger than you see on the videos. Even when he was sick, he has continued to sing and you could notice that. I say what I see not what I hear from others. For me, Dimash is an irreplaceable piece of art. Nobody can conquer him.

Regardless of what you said about the microphone autotune, true, the technology has been advanced those days and does miracles. But here, in Dimash case is not necessary to use this kind of effect. About lips sync, if you have a lot of shows and concerts in a short period of time, I would myself recommend doing this, because it can affect your vocal cords and be left without a voice. I, too, am glad if he uses lip sync as a measure to take care of his voice, considering his demanding songs and his schedule. Dimash is a awsome singer and I think some people get confused with autotune and pitch correction. and the real difference is pitch correction is subtle and you would notice autotune straight away but he is such a great singer he dosent need autotune but pitch correction on the other hand he might or might not use it but even if he did 99% of singers professionally use pitch correction live anyway so it won't change how well he can sing it will just make sure his slightly out of pitch notes are corrected to the nearest semitone!🎤🎶

Pitch-correction is done after, so in Russia at "live performances", if he sings live, the TV production pitch-corrects after, but usually those "live performance" Russian shows are playback. New Wave is Igor's baby. Playback. Slavic Bazar contest is playback on day 1 and live on day 2 , according to their rules. China is a different approach. Chinese television uses real-time auto-tune, and we've seen several videos of Dimash so auto-tuned in China, but they also use pitch correction after the contests. Contests are not live to TV, only live to the audience. Hell, this is the 21st century, nothing on TV is real anymore. I would like to see Dimash come to Canada and do a paired-down shorter concert, where he sticks to songs that he can do well live on stage. He's always way better in shorter concerts. I don't know who's pushing him to do 3h concerts, it's insane.

Yeah about lip syncing, I was looking at three different live performances of the song Know. All 3 of them sounded the exact same to me. Same with ogni pietra i was looking at different performances and they all sounded they same. Is it possible for a singer to sound the same when they want, apart of me feels like he does lip sync in some performances. I don't hate dimash, I am actually really big fan of him.

RedManPower32 I think with the russian songs krutoy often forces him to lip sync, the recent WOW arena concert was entirely live, and so was mr hyde and know at the dubai concert. At his own concerts, they are almost entirely live, except he lip syncs 2-3 songs to give his voice a break, which is fair, given that he has to sing difficult songs for like 2 hours on end. If you listen to his english songs like all by myself or adagio they have been live every time im pretty sure, sos is mostly live unless it’s on some big tv show where he is forced to lip sync. So to answer your question, I think he’d prefer to sing live unless he is simply too exhausted.

Chinese TV auto-tunes everything, Russian is playback and pitch correction. But Simon Cowell also uses auto-tune on his contestants, and American mega-stars lipsync at their concerts. Dimash is not a god, just a better than normal singer. Why people imagine he's supposed to be perfect 100% of the time is strange.

@@tallard666 Dimash is surely not a god, and what a luck that is. What's so special or interesting about God being on a high level? There is no such thing as human perfection. Pitch correction is the industry standard, all official audios of all singers, whether of live performances or not, are automatically pitch corrected in pre or post processing, whether it is needed or not. And it's not at all the same as autotune. And yes, Chinese use autotune sometimes, but not always, and often just for effect or decoration (in their opinion), not because it's needed to reach notes, especially in Dimash's case. Certainly, most Dimash's performances are not autotuned. People abuse the word autotune all the time, without really knowing if and/or why it is used. There are so many live fancams around (Dimash, unlike many other singers, never uses autotune in his live performances, and he would have sounded terrible and unnatural if he did), that by definition have no processing at all. His voice is being studied thoroughly in spectral programs. There are analyses available on KZbin including spectrograms, some addressing this question directly (Creactiva Mente), so I don't understand what the fuss is all about.

@@yuar2696 It's always the people that barely know anything about him that say he's fake, autotuned, lipsyncing. They have no clue, only a type of strange envy or adversity toward Dimash. As someone who follows him closely and listened to probably at least 95% of his singing available on YT and who is also an amateur singer, I can 99% of the time tell when he sings live or not or if there are notable changes and post-processing. But most people who claim these things are not interested in actually understanding what's going on and what he does and having real conversations, they rather try to discredit him. As opposed to most popular praised artists, he has mainly stage performances, fancams, and no mic casual singing videos, and not that many studio recordings and music of official platforms. But prejudice and jumping to conclusions is easier that research.

@@yuar2696 And I don't get why some people are so bent of hunting his mistakes and "catching him red-handed". They're bound to occur, and they do occur, even if not too often. No one wants a robot or a god trying to express human emotions. Thank God he's as human as everyone else. It's just that he's incredibly gifted, but at the same hardworking as not many people are willing to be, he's put over 20 years of serious work into music. And apparently some people have a problem with that, instead on working on themselves more. It's a common misconception that singing is a talent that just falls from the sky, and people rush towards fame and stardom. You can't expect to sing like Dimash when you put 10% of his effort into music and your main goal is to be a star and not a real professional musician/singer. But I digress. I'm just baffled how envious some people are and how hard they try to bring him down. But happy that he's imperfect and human and that he's working so hard to offer us this music.
