This is not Dimash's mistake. And this is not a disrespect for the competition. This is a mistake of the organizers who made adults, formed performers compete with children. And it really is in our culture. Victory, of course, desirable. But to win, defeating a child?! .. I understand Dimash: it's just below his dignity. Will the world boxing champion be happy with victory if in the final match he will be confronted by an inept teenager? Is there really no worthy rival for Dimash in the entire huge world ?! Dimash was right to withdraw. They had him competing against children. It's not a real competition if an adult is competing against children. Dimash made a huge statement with his performances. He is officially on the map here in America. Btw.... Dimash IS the worlds best singer.

I wasn't rooting for Dimash, but he earned my respect on what he did. This show doesn't deserve talents like Dimash and The TNT boys. Strange strange format, judges are enormously biased, criteria for judging wasn't shown. It's like a freak show to be honest. In my opinion, The Singer 2017 in China has a better format than this even if Dimash didn't win that show, at least there, he competed with singers that have legit credentials. Judges were audiences, who were into music. What is this show even about?! To rig bucks? That's how it looked like to me.Even the title "The World's Best" is very very misleading.

I saw these words on FB.【I also read a post from one of the audience members who were present at the time. Her post said something to the following effect: When RuPaul said “you knew what you were getting into”, Dimash responded by saying “I respectfully remind that when I signed up, I asked whether I would be competing against children and I was told that I wouldn’t. That was a precondition for me to agree to participate in this competition. This is my favourite stage and my favourite audience. I feel Dimash did what is in his heart. I think Dimash saw how upset the TNT boys were when they were taken off. I don’t feel he wanted to do that to other kids. He has a charity or foundation or such that supports young artists. All the proceeds from his London show he gave to young artists. Someone who was at the recording stated that Dimash had asked, before signing on, if he would have to compete against children and they said No. So, he didn’t know what he was getting into. Also, he made his statement to the judges *before* he sang, not after. This whole show was a farce in my opinion and they butchered his performances but used his name and fandom to gain viewers for the show. Typical. $$ talks. He is so above them. Согласна, что китайский конкурс настоящий песенный, а не просто шоу ради шоу и рекламы. Все песни порезали так, как хотелось организаторам. Если надо было выдать в эфир всего несколько минут, то могли сказать об этом исполнителям. Тогда сами конкурсанты подобрали бы короткое выступление, а не организаторы портили бы целостность композиции так, как им хочется. Что могут понять зрители по тем огрызкам целого.

İn the begining of the show I have thought that the kids competition was bethween the kids and the winner of the kids would be in the stage but they mixt the kids with adults... I cried because of the way they treated him from the very beginning, and still they didn't understand the wonderful soul he has. they treated him in the worst possible way, that judge crossed the line, and they call themsleves professionals, and Faith talked about competing against Whitney or Adele, but she wasn't a child, so it wans't the same situation. They just don't get it, all they care about is business and money and fame, but he cares about others and for him singing and making music isn't business, it's his passion, it's in his blood, so that's why they will never be able to reach the same level, but he showed them that he is the real man, the true artist, because that's what art should be about, and it make me mad because it's almost forgotten in these times, thank God for Dimash, I thought all great music is gone until I discovered him :)

Apparently they lied to Dimash from the beginning of the show explicitly saying there would be no children, since they knew this would go against his values. He only found out much later in the competition that he was indeed competing against children so he made this logical and honorable decision.

what dimash did is ANYTHING but disrespectful. he is paving a safe path for aspiring young artists by sparing them chances, and i think that's beautiful. it's not selfish, nor a publicity stunt, and i KNOW that dimash means good intention with his entire heart, because he himself began to pursue music at a very young age; he understands the passion as well as the pain and wants children to be successful. that to me is the opposite of disrespect. not to mention, he didn't decide to be on the show, they recruited him to perform there, so whether he wanted to stay or not was up to only him. don't try to defy king di, he's always right.

Dimash gave ‘em a performance for their show and he didn’t phone it in. He could’ve easily just taken a knee on stage and not sung a note. He’s not disrespecting the show in any way shape or form, but allowing them to create a new star. He’s already world-renowned. He doesn’t need to win. He doesn’t need to prove anything. You could tell that Dimash was angered by the judges comments. To show compassion and be spit on. If they ever wanted him to perform on their show again, it’s not going to happen now.

You have to watch the video more carefully. When James comes to Dimash and points out he has something to say at arownd2:00, notice he has no "in-ears." While Dimash is explaining why he wants to leave, no in-ear monitors. At around 3:28, James says, let's see what the judges have to say...BOOM...Dimash takes his right in-ear out and they both hang there. Proof he made his announcement first. Then he gets berated by the judges, again NO IN EARS! He made his announcement, then got berated, THEN HE SANG THAT GREAT PERFORMANCE! What a man! The comments from people who were there are true. His famous in-ears reveal the truth. Another thing I noticed is that Faith's comments seem out of content. First she says "your performance was amazing" (meaning her comments came after he performed) and then she says "this is not a free stage, this is a competition and whoever performs should be in the contest " which means he quit before performing and she objected to him being allowed to sing after quiting. Very bad editing if you asked me 🤔. One more thing i observed. When James walk out, Dimash hair was neat and tidy, but when Dimash took of his ear piece his hair was messy. Dimash says "жол бергім келеді"in word to word translate that's mean " I would like to give my way " it's idiom, in qazaq language means "give own opportunity to smb for support or pay/express respect ( sorry my English not good) she translated not exactly correct. As I told already, you can also notice, that the judges are upset, someone even cry, when Dimash is singing. And you can't see the three judges close, but you can see them enough, to understand, that they are sad and serious. RuPall was not happy at all )) So yes, for sure, Dimash sang after his announcement. AAAnd! look at the smoke! When Dimash finished, the whole scene was in smoke. When James come to Dimash - the smoke was just started to run on stage. The Kazakh judge was crying during the performance, and she said in her live stream that she was crying when Dimash announced that he want to quit. He told them from the beginning he didn't want to compete with children they told him fine, then they lie to him and put the TNT boys and another little boy from India that plays piano, so when he found out he knew the only thing he could do because he was going to win this world's best hands down and he knew it. He is an honorable man and he did the right thing cuz that's how he was raised in his culture he is loved by everybody around the world. But we need to bring him back to America so more people could love him like we the fans his greatest fans that adore him. I hope you keep showing more videos of him he's just put out two more videos . I also heard that he is coming up with something for the future and I am sure it is going to be fantastic ..
