Димаш поёт о трагических событиях из истории Казахстана более 100 лет назад, когда по приказу казус Российского царя практически физически каждый 10 молодой казах был угнан кто на войну, кто на работы... В песне молодой солдат покидает дом, родителей, степь, идёт на чужбине, в неизвестность... Инструмент национальный казахский кобыз, в начале вы слышите звуки степи, вой волков, лай собак, журавлей... и плач Димаша.... Весь Казахстан плачет!

Я первый раз слышу эту песню. Сердце разрывается от жалости к молодому парню, которого вырвали из семьи и отправили неизвестно куда на войну. Пятнадцатый день пешком идет до Омска, переживает что будет на чужбине, он еще и не знает русского языка. Короче человек идет в безвестность, мне горько и обидно за парня, который спел эту песню сто лет тому назад.

Ночной пейзаж оживляли звуки Великой степи ночью - вой волков, лай собак, крики журавля, журчание воды в реке... Все эти звуки были имитированы на национальном казахском инструменте КОБЫЗ. Hello instrument is name Kobyz (Kazakh: қобыз, Qobyz) or kyl-kobyz is an ancient Kazakh string instrument. It has two strings made of horsehair. The resonating cavity is usually covered with goat leather. According to legends, the kobyz and its music could banish evil spirits, sicknesses and death and imitate animal voices and bells of cattle herds of Kazakhstan steppe. The worst part about this translation is that the city is not called Omsk at that time it was called Omby in Kazakh language since it was part of the Kazakh Khanate.. Russians took it by force... In fact Samaltau is todays russians city of Samara.

Di Kontra Samara is not a Kasakh city, it is far to the west on the river Volga. Samal Tau is a place in the Northern Kasakhstan.

Ok guys, LA to NY is a 4 hr flight. come on, don't be skimpy, I bet you've traveled further away for fun before. Well If you must, we'll miss you. Watching Dimash with Igor Krutoy tonight at Barclays Center in Brooklyn was cool. Saw some Fan Cams that were posted & they were cool. The Solo Concert will be off the chain in December. Samaltau is absolutely awesome, you feel like you can just walk into one of those Yurts after the singing. AWESOME!!!

Please react to him singing Ti Amo Cosi (in Italian) with Lara Fabian (legendary famous pop singer) and Aida Garifullina (top 5 soprano earth, main soloist attached to Vienna Opera House currently).
