I didn't to this kind of music either, until I heard Dimash. Now I look at music completely different now. Dimash is all I want to listen to. He's above and beyond any vocal talent I've ever heard! A class act on every level! He has raised the bar so high that I don't see anyone ever surpassing it!

I would always recommend you watch Dimash's videos to the end, this will give you a chance to understand what kind of person he is by his own words. The reason you enjoy his performances is that he is a man in the true sense of a man. Honourable, decent, admirable, gentle, generous, kind, loyal, loving, respectful, responsible, proud, professional, humble, someone young men can look up to and emulate. This is so rare in a world where these attributes are seen as old fashioned. This is why he is loved not only for his beautiful amazing voice but his beautiful amazing nature. He is The Voicebender, The Maestro Supreme and our Kazakh Prince of Song. Thank you for appreciating the things we too love and admire him for. UKDear 💙👍🏴

23 seconds in one breath with riffs and runs. Unbelievable. He said in an interview he trains every day at least 3 hours and he swims under water very often to increase his lung capacity. Btw he didn‘t won the Voice. He became second in The Singer competition in China 2017, because of not being a Chinese. And he always donates the flowers to hospitals, retirement homes or similar institutions. And that they don’t scream during the performance that‘s a cultural thing. It has something to do with respect for the artist. The audience listens to a performance without yelling or screaming that the artist can no longer be heard. No sound should be missed. In return, they then shower Dimash with flowers and gifts. That's the norm there. Here he sings in a competition for young musicians, called New Wave in Sochi, Russia. He was there in 2018 as a guest. The musicians who accompany him are called A-Studio. It's a Kazakh band that also wrote this song in 1998. However, Dimash sang it differently. And in my opinion much better 😄. The gentleman at the end you see standing and clapping is the famous Russian/Ukrainian composer, producer and songwriter Igor Krutoy. He has come out of retirement to work with Dimash. True masterpieces were created. He writes songs that only Dimash could sing with his vocal range, such as Olimpico, Stranger or Ave Maria. You’ll often see him accompanying Dimash on the piano. The two have no contract. Their cooperation is based more on mutual trust. It’s more like a father/son relationship. These last three mentioned songs are mind-blowing and will leave you speechless. I promise. If possible, always watch the videos to the end. Very often there are interesting things to learn. Either there’s something to laugh about, or he’s talking to his audience. He always thanks his musicians. He is incredibly humble and never acts like a star. When he is praised, he constantly says that it is thanks to his teachers and his parents, who made it all possible for him. He’s just incredible. There is no need to add every song to your playlist right away. We Dears also have songs that we don't like as much as others. There is definitely something for you in his repertoire like Be With Me. Be With Me MV: kzbin.info/www/bejne/a2G2oKGif8t8i68 There he sings in English. You’ll find three different genres in one song. Let yourself be surprised what they are. A funny MV. Or Ikanaide. It was his first song he performed in Japanese. Ikanaide means „Don’t go“ and has a sad but true backstory. If you want to know somethig about. Then you just have to react to Autumn Strong from the Gloria Wu channel with the background story. Here he sings this song in Mandarin with a little bit different lyrics. Or, I’m sure some Dear will explayn the story😅. Ikanaide was written by Koji Tamaki in 1989. This song is sooo beautiful❤️. And he performed it with so much emotions. You literally could feel his pain😪. He has been invited to perform at the Tokyo Jazz Festival in 2021. But he couldn't go to Japan because of Covid. So he had to sing it from studio. If the Japanese reactors are to be believed, Dimash sang in perfect Japanese. Some also claimed that it was better Japanese than many Japanese themselves😅. kzbin.info/www/bejne/bp6wXpWmarV1aZY Greetings and love from Germany👋❤️

Dimash lights up the planet with his voice! The fast riff in the middle is an ethnic Yakutian riff according to Dimash's father. Congratulations to A-Studio kazakh group and to Baigali Serkebaev (the man who plays the piano and who composed the music of this song in 1998). Bravo Dimash!! (once again) 💐💐💐💐💐💐💐 Greetings from Chile.

Thank you for your reaction! Dimash’s talent is mind blowing 🤯 A'Studio was invited by Igor Krutoy to participate (individual concert) in the 2018 edition of the New Wave festival. Igor Krutoy, the man in white shirt giving his standing ovation, invited Dimash to participate in this festival in the same year. "Sinful Passion" was created in 1998. This is how the song was performed, exactly in the 20th anniversary of this song. It speaks of greater love, greater loss, greater despair, greater desire, greater passion. The loss or lack of this love, in Dimash's interpretation, has the dimension of a loss of life, which one is very anxious to restore. In place of the original purely pop instrumental part (inserts), Dimash included (after the last chorus) his vocalize, a stylized onomatopoeic (like a lament) eastern ornament and the words "дай мне, дай" (give me, give me) with a 23-second melismatic on the last syllable, which is not a simple substitute for a pop musical theme, but an extension of the story sung earlier in words. ❤️🎤🔝🌹🌹👏👏👏

You nailed it! He's absolute class, even when he's on stage in jeans and a t-shirt he still reeks style and class. In a world where it's become fashionable for being as crude as you can possibly be, he is a breath of fresh air. Sinful Passion isn't one of my favourites either, my Dimash Spotify playlist is filled with mostly his pop or rock songs but that's probably because I listen to them while I'm working. Listening to the ballads comes later in the evening when it's time to chill out with KZbin.

I'm loving your appreciation of this phenomenal artist. He is so different to western singers &, you're right, his style is so much better than a lot of what we hear in the charts here. He is a once in a lifetime artist who is still building his reputation & repertoire, even though he has a worldwide fantom and he deserves so much more recognition than he is getting. Thank you for your great reactions & I will look out for more from you 🙏💕

Glad to see that you are feeling better. I think you would find it interesting to start going in sequence to the songs Dimash did on "The Singer 2017." He was the first foreigner and the youngest singer to be invited to do the show in its history. The show was originally for professional and established Chinese singers only. By going thru the songs he did on that show, you will be able to see how he progressed in his singing. That show is what catapulted him to the international stage. He did not win first place because they had to save face. As I said, he was the first foreigner and the other singers were 12-39 yrs. his senior. So, he came in second place. I watched the whole show and enjoyed the other singers as well, but, Dimash was simply incredible. Dimash held that note with the key change and runs for 22 seconds. If you do react to The Singer 2017, choose the ones that have closed captions for English translations. Most of Dimashs' videos do have cc. Thank you for your videos.

Very famous‼️🌟🇺🇦🇷🇺 He came “Out of Retirement” to work with Dimash. When you see him at the 🎹 with Dimash you can bet he’s the composer and or collaborator of that song. Hello, I’m from Brazil! For those who like information about Dimas' songs: Sinful Passion - The story behind this song is very interesting: The band that accompanies Dimash is the same one that composed the song, without the singer who died after a heart attack! The band is also from Kazakhstan and this performance by Dimash revitalized the song. In addition, the final part he added, with an oriental technique. The song was originally performed in 1998 and the band's name is A'Studio (Russian-based Kazakhstani pop music group, "Alma-Ata Studio", city of Almaty). The dead singer (to whom Dimash was a fan) left the band in 2000 and passed away in 2015 and his name was Batyrkhan Shukenov. The lyrics are by the poet Ilia Reznik together with Baigaly Serkebayev, who is the keyboardist with long hair, which we see in the video accompanying Dimash. Yes. It's called being 'Dimashified'! 🤣😆😃 The lung capacity... Dimash works on this by swimming a lot. He also does Martial Arts training - not only for fun and agility, but also for core strength. He really does approach his craft / career, addressing every core element, like an Olympic level athlete. But, as you say, the thing that really hooks us in, in addition to that incredible voice, is his total commitment and passion. He really gives a 1,000% each and every performance. And keeps switching it up!

Thank you for that. You seem genuine and I applaud you on speaking 7 languages that is a very hard thing to do. I'm realizing the best thing to do is just let go of any fears and dive right in to everything. I enjoy the exposure to what I am seeing. I'll definitely do one of those tonight. Trying to find a balance in between work and this to be honest. I'm doing this to reach other avenues, but I'm giving my life up to do this. Which is okay because I'm doing this for a purpose.
