There is a male singer you should check out on BRITAIN'S GOT TALENT called MAXWELL THORPE. He was busking 10 years and he is quite incredible. His first song is a opera song where he wears a cap and a blue top. Next one in the semi final he is all dressed in black and sings the theme from GLADIATOR. YAY, it's Ken analyzing "Stranger"! Igor Krutoy, inspired by Dimash, really outdid himself on this unique composition! It's funny you mentioned Hans Zimmer. You may not be aware that Dimash and Zimmer have recently been circling each other for several months, fueling speculation (with good foundation) of a possible collaboration. Zimmer and Dimash were each touring in Eastern Europe at the same time, concerts within days of each other in both Germany and Prague. Zimmer's people and concert promoters went to see Dimash, and made their mutual interest known at a recent conference in Munich. Zimmer is currently scoring the soundtrack for the sequel to "Dune". Besides the ethnographic sound Zimmer created for "Dune", the score featured instrumentals with multiple duduks (Armenian woodwind instrument). Dimash really enjoys vocalizing with the duduk, as you can see from this recent clip of Dimash working with the duduk in the recording studio: (Link in reply so youtube doesn't block it). Harmonic minor scale on glorious display! The synergy between Dimash and Zimmer makes it seem nearly inevitable that we will hear Dimash's voice in a blockbuster film in 2023. Yeah, his voice definitely has the versatility to be metal. I've always said that it would be so cool if he were to cover Gethsemane from Jesus Christ Superstar. He can hit that G5 rock belt in his sleep. He could even raise it to an A5 or a Bb5 to further emphasize Jesus' pain. Dimash has not only the vocal capability but also the stage presence/emotion required to nail that song. Ken, I am totally with you on Dimash doing an operatic/metal crossover song. His high chest mix is perfect for that type of music. ❤👏
