Super Vocal is another extremely professional singing show from China for professional Opera and musical singers. Every week 6 principals out of 36 contestants had to choose a song, decide if singing solo or choose partners from the rest for a duet, trio or more, figure out the arrangements and work out the harmonies to suit their voices. These were 4 of the 6 winners. There was not one average singer in the show. I could higly recommend Ayunga from Mongolia (second guy), Zhou Shen, Wang Xi, Zhen Yulong and so on... More so that apparently opera as well as musicals seem to not very popular in China and these guys tried their best to make people more aware of their craft to not perform in front of half empty audiences.

The singer to Dimash's left is Ayanga. He is very well known in China (he won the show Super Vocal - To see on You Tube). Thanks to Dimash I discovered three wonderful singers, Hua Chenyu, Zhou Shen and Ayanga. I would very much like you to listen to them and maybe then make reactions on them.

Ayanga (Dimash's right side on screen) is a Chinese musical theater actor, singer and songwriter of Mongolian ethnicity who is very famous in China. The third you name is an opera tenor named Cai Zhengyu. All with lyrical training like Dimash. Dimash was invited to China in 2019 to collaborate with the contestants of the "I am a singer" contest and managed to prepare this presentation in a couple of days. ALL A SUCCESS !!! We are looking forward to January 16, 2021 to witness Dimash's online concert !!!!!

Hi Elizabeth, That was an Awesome reaction to this collaboration. The boys were contestants on a show called "Super Vocal" where Dimash was a judge. The numbers of super vocal boys varies from 3 to 7/8 depending on who's available they are all from university and are a close harmony group a bit like 'Il Divo' there is a vid on here from the super vocal competition showing Dimash advising them on one of the songs they were performing in the comp, they got quite friendly and when they were invited onto "Singer 2019" they asked Dimash would he perform with them when it was duet week. This medley was put together and arranged by Dimash and his friend and arranger Erlan Bekchurin ...I think they did a great job !! 👌👌👌😊😊😊😊

I truly appreciate every time I hear Dimash in ensembles. Often it introduced me to other new talents I may not have encountered before. Super Vocal boys are a lovely group and - although different - a good mix with Dimash in this medley. Orchestration can be wonderful when accompanying vocals. As a musician, it is so important to know when you can balance or when to bring your line forward. Dimash has the finesse to know this vocally as well. Good analysis.

"Super Vocal" is a Chinese tv show where the other 3 singers appeared. The show's producers knew that there were 100,000 classically trained singers in China who had little work, so they held auditions and found a fairly large group of male singers and built a reality show around them. These 3 singers were on that show, and later appeared on the "Singer, " with one other singer who had to leave early, as Super Vocal Boys. The show "Super Vocal" is on KZbin and is very enjoyable. Reactions to some of the performances would be fun. The 2nd singer is Ayanga. He performs in western musical theater in China and has become quite popular. That's what you get when 4 students of classical singing get together to create magic. It's easy to pick him out as he is the jumpy one, so full of energy. I watched the whole show and loved it. I found it fascinating to hear all the different voice styles of Bel Canto and Musical Theatre competing against each other. Dimash was a guest judge. The harmonies these boys created are just WONDERFUL. Hello from Australia.

All of the guys on the show sing Bel Canto (classical). I mention Zhou Shen, because he has gone onto other shows and gained enormous popularity. The Super Vocal Boys also went onto "I Am A Singer", several seasons after Dimash Kudaibergen (They were on Singer in 2019, Dimash was there in 2017.) They invited Dimash to be on the final episode of their Singer season with them as their personal guest singer. They'd met him when he was a guest judge for their season of Super Vocal (2018) (only the last few episodes - finale, I believe.) Most definitely a tangled web. I'm a die hard dear and I adore this version. They nailed it. But please don't put down other singers. Its really not necessary. Also we wouldn't have iconic songs without those who went before. Do I think Dimash is the best vocalist in the world? Yes I do. Still no need to saying SIT DOWN to other incredibly talented artists. Достойное исполнение, ребята спели первую песню более мягко , чем пел Фредди. Он исполнял её более агресивно ,в таком стиле рок.Очень круто спели, отдали дань уважения великому Фреди Меркури и группе Квин. There are some great behind the scenes clips out there that show how they planned the songs, and showing Dimash, the coach, working with a couple of the guys. Note that Dimash does not "show off" but uses his skills where it suits the performance. When he gets cheeky, you know that he is just having fun and doing some flexing and he makes it known.

Elizabeth, WE can all tell when Dimash is going to hit his notes or hit his moments. He such a great amazing performer. No one but Dimash as such a voice so easily reconise and may be heard with other singers. And is not a shame of giving the others singers their own moments to shine too. I think out of the thousands of reactions, and hundreds of "vocal coaches" I've seen react and analyze songs, you are by far the most qualified woman vocal coach I've seen bar none... maybe even top 3 overall. As a musician, I can tell you really know your stuff. Anyways, I know you mentioned the Dimash screams here which I'm not sure others noticed. On his digital concert on the 16th a few days ago... Dimash actually had quite a few songs where he had a few different types of screams. It really shocked me actually. I hope he uploads some of the new songs to his KZbin channel. Anyways much love

Have you never watched Super Vocals? Really worth it! Then you should look at 2018/2019. Ayanga (the singer next to Dimash) and the other 2 singers are also on that show (and 33 other good vocals)

Ha, Dimash had you from the first note. The harmonies are stunning in this medley. I’ve seen a number of reactions to this one but yours comes top.
