His new MV, The Story of One Sky is a must. It is a hard watch, with a very heavy subject but it is a masterpiece. He spent three years working on it. Although it is in English, it also has subtitles to aid in getting the full message. Just be prepared because as I said, it is not a light video.

Actually this song was composed by Dimash's godfather. The composer you are thinking of is Igor Krutoy who wrote Ave Maria and Stranger. Dimash has worked with a number of extraordinary composers but he's actually an incredible composer himself.

Here Dimash performed one of his many hit original Chinese singles at the QQ Awards 2021. The Crown is a huge Chinese Dears favorite and is on his album "iD" released in China in 2019. He sings it quite frequently at his solo concerts. There is also a Kazakh language version but as far as I know he has only sung that one live in a Kazakhstan concert. The other song he sang at this Awards ceremony was "Only You". Another hit original song written for a Chinese TV series theme song. Dimash's Mandarin songs are gorgeous so look for them on his channel and on the Chinese CCTV youtube channels.
