Thank you for another great reaction from you 👍😊 This mini movie is full of symbolisms, it's the story of 3 youths, 1) Dimash, who was drowning at the beginning and at the end. 2) The Piper, the one who saved Dimash, and who became the leader, and who was killed by Dimash at the end. 3) The young girl, who became Dimash’s future wife, had two children together. A daughter who was killed by the Piper's army and the birth of his son at the end…, they were all torn by the war. For the symbolic aspects, Dimash is showing the different cultures and religions (Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Hindi, etc.), through throat singing, which is called the REQUIEM (mass for the souls of the dead), from different religions. The Pilgrim, Shepard or Wise Man at the end of the video was Dimash’s newborn son, born in his image and grows up to guide the Representatives of different religions and race from different Nations to the light, for a new beginning living together in peace, tolerance, love and harmony.

At the end, he is drowning in his own blood and memories where passing through his mind. His baby became the future who follow light with people of all religions and races together. Dimash wrote the song and the script. The lyrics were written in English by a Lyricist following Dimash Idea. It took him three years to complete this composition. People only appreciate peace when they see the horrors of war and Dimash wanted to show it in its most real and cruel form. A real masterpiece!!! Thank you for your reaction. Take care. ❤️🙏🕊

Dimash sang the premiere of this song live on stage, receiving resounding applause at the end of his impassioned performance, at the seventh Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions in Nur-Sultan in Kazakhstan on 13-14th September. Pope Francis awarded Dimash a commemorative medal and said in his address “Kazakhstan’s policy of religious diversity, along with your commitment to interreligious dialogue, is a seed of hope sown in the common soil of humanity...It is up to us to cultivate those seeds for the sake of future generations, for the young, whose desires must be considered as we make decisions affecting the present and the future.” I am not entirely sure if those words will be listened to by the war-mongers and the many people in countries all around the world who are so afraid of their neighbours that they stockpile weapons and are prepared to use them at the drop of a hat to 'protect what's theirs' or 'get back what they're owed'. This includes the people who are planning on stockading themselves into closed, guarded communities so that nobody can steal their supplies. So much hate. So much fear. So little love. We are all human beings and only have one planet. It's time to work together before it's too late.

Yes. I think because it's so unlikely that leaders will "turn to the light" this video is telling us "regular people" that one thing we can do is stop following those leaders. Depending on where you live and what amount of power your leaders have, you may be able to do this to a greater or lesser extent. A leader without followers isn't a leader anymore. I think Dimash is reminding us that we don't have to do evil just because our leaders have "gone crazy". We can still do right.

The Story Of One Sky - I have watched this many times and still find things out that i never thought of amazing video and i have said it before if anyone could bring peace i strongly believe Dimash could make it possible. This needs to be shared worldwide to show people there is another way. War is never the answer because the only ones to suffer are the innocent rewatched the song of Dimash today one line stood out to me One of the most profound lines in The Story Of One Sky is the line "Learn to share the love, Not shares" Not shares meaning stop making money out of war rich people have many shares in companies that profit from weapon manufacturing making them richer while the innocent suffer sadly this is why war exists. MONEY, GREED and POWER. The part in the video with the little girl and the people in the hallway were Dimash's family who had been wiped out the little girl whose body he picked up was his daughter, the baby that was born was his son who grew up to be Dimash grown up at the end. This video needs to be shown worldwide Something else i noticed is in his dying breath he sang (We're Choosing Life) as he finally passed away now that is powerful

The video shows once again that Dimash is an absolute genius. In singing but also as an actor and as a storyteller. The powerful message conveyed by this video is more relevant today than ever. I think this video is mostly about the message. This message is for the first time more important than his vocal abilities. His voice is just the tool in this video. But indispensable and simply indescribable. His singing is indescribable and I don’t have the words to express it adequately. But it is only the mediator of what this video is about. This is so heartbreaking and sad and an awesome masterpiece. Pure goosebumps. He worked on this composition for three years and also wrote the screenplay. The premiere was on September 24, 2022. As some have mentioned, this video should be seen by many people. It may be very brutal for some. But let’s not forget that for many, including children, this is everyday life in some countries. And Dimash relentlessly shows us how ugly war is. Dimash was the littel boy who was drowning in the beginning and he gave the necklace to his childhood friend (and future leader) and the girl. The girl on the beach was his future wife. And she gave birth to her second child in the video. The littel girl who was shot was Dimashs and her first daughter. Desperation and maybe revenge has led him to kill his former friend and then is killed himself (it's so hard to see him drown even if it's just a video). Dimash in the last sequence of the video was the baby (and not the dead Dimash walking in afterlife) that was born and now as a grown man unites people of different nationalities and religions for peace (look at the desription on dimashnews). If you want to know more about this video check out dimashnews. com Btw, Dimash has received an Award from Pope Francis personally at The Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions held in Kazakhstan on September 13, 2022. He performed the song there in connection with the congress before the premiere. There now is a wonderful booklet on dimashnews. com Also see the live fancam from his Almaty concert on September 23, 2022. 35.000 people from 68 different countries. I am so sad, that I couldn’t be there. kzbin.info/www/bejne/f3mamZuJrJt2nLc

Hi Bob, this is a very hard video. The tones that Dimash produces with his voice are unbelievably great. You're right, the pain he's feeling can be heard directly. He can express every single emotion he wants to express with his fantastic voice. In this video, unfortunately, it's a lot of pain he wants to show. There are so many countries in the world where terror and war reign. Far too many countries. We are fortunate to live in countries where there is peace. But the war in Ukraine is a reminder to us here in Europe that peace can end very quickly. That's so close. The economic effects are clearly felt. But that's nothing compared to the war in Ukraine or other countries. I hope that Dimash can at least open the eyes of some people to the pointlessness of war and terror. We must break through this circle of life that Dimash shows us here. We need peace in the world if we want to save the world in order to survive as humanity. Very very thoughtful greetings from Germany

the film is based on a story written by Dimash with his own screenplay. (I worked on this piece for 3 years). Director Alina Veripya spoke about creating the music video for the new song: the clip is divided into several parts. The first is about childhood. The main character, two friends linked by childhood stories and symbols of eternal friendship. One day the friend saves the protagonist when he drowns. However, there is already competition in these children's story, where the boys love one girl and she chooses one. The second goes through a kind of psychological The disintegration and transformation of children's problems into an adult world of totalitarianism and struggle. When he becomes a commander, the opponent carries the idea of saving the war: the young boy who presents the tokens of friendship he made will marry the girl (Dimash). She will give birth. A baby girl (murdered) and a mother waiting for another baby. Friends were scattered, and the third friend became an enemy, friends are enemies, because of the war, It is shocking how the cry of true helplessness of a father embracing his murdered daughter is practically coupled with the cries of a woman in labor who brings a child into the traumatized world of soldier (Dimash). That he was searching for his family and that he had found the dead body of his daughter and I think believing that his pregnant wife had also died, and felt the death of life, he decides, as the only way out in that moment of uncontrollable pain is revenge. He killed the evil embodied in his opponent, and then was killed by soldiers' bullets. ,and when Dimash died, his son was born, and the mother died during childbirth. But the boy is saved by his society of different religions and races, he wears his mother's talisman. He will surely grow up and become a messenger of peace on earth, like a worthy son of his father.A symbol of a future without evil, without wars, a world moving towards peaceful coexistence. The light of hope and peace on earth,In a world without walls, without unfair constraints, without differences or contempt for different ethnic groups or nations because the supreme value above all is: love and peace We are all human beings, we share the same planet Earth, and we owe each other as "brothers" the respect for life. In the end, he joined with people of different races and religions from another era that touches the present and the future In a world without walls, without unfair constraints, without differences or contempt for different ethnic groups or nations because the supreme value above all is: love and peace We are all human beings, we share the same planet Earth, and we owe each other as "brothers" the respect for life. ,Piper represents the force Totalitarian, oppressor who is not alien to us and who understands that war is the way to make people free (real nonsense).Piper (is the name of a soldier's opponent, a soldier who only hates, annihilates and destroys. What a paradox for a friend who, in his childhood, saves soldier Dimash from drowning. But life is like this, full of changes, good and bad, Evil, war and contempt happen when we lose love for one another, and our way to God and making peace and love in the world is not difficult but possible if we work together for love and peace and stop wars, hate and contempt. It is about calling for cooperation, to save lives, love, friendship and the land of our children. “Art is a sacred message in life, and these are the true artists.. And the earth needs these reformers in their precious, true and immortal work for the sake of love and peace on earth..Thank God for his gifts

The term "Piper" is a reference to the Pied Piper of Hamelin by the Brothers Grimm. In that story, rats had become such a problem (bubonic plague times) that the city was offering a bounty for the extermination of the rats. Thus, the pied piper proceeded to play a song that enchanted every rat who heard it to follow him into the ocean. Although this piper succeeded in eliminating the infestation, the city refused payment on the grounds that he was unable to produce remains in order to prove he had fulfilled his end of the bargain. So, the pied piper proceeded to play a song which enchanted every human child in the town who heard him play...

🙏🙏🙏Thanks for your sensitive reaction to this masterpiece 💕💕💕 I’m enclosing a deep and knowledgeable analysis by Heiderose Kober that you might enjoy: « This is subtitled "Requiem” but it is also a vision and a call to action. Dimash is steeped in sacred music and has a deep understanding of the mystic teachings and symbolism of the major world religions as well as Kazakh shamanism. It is not by coincidence that the first performance of this work took place on September 14, 2022, at the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions in Kazakhstan. The written statement at the end of the video is directly from the “Document on Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together” signed jointly on February 4, 2019, by Pope Francis and the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Ahmad el-Tayeb. Dimash met and spoke with both men at the September meeting. Everything Dimash does is intentional, and this piece has layers that would take a dissertation to unravel. I only touch on some of what struck me in the symbolism. The music is a dissertation all by itself. The pendant is an interesting element. It is a gnomon from a maritime compass sundial. This triangular blade is attached to the sundial, casting a shadow on the sundial while the perforated pinhole projects the image of the sun onto the dial. It was used for both timekeeping and navigation, with the gnomon oriented to True North. (Thank you, Snarky Tart for that information). In the MV, the child who later becomes the military commander never puts on the necklace. After Dimash, the boy, gives his friend the pendant, the camera focuses on his hand and shows that his friend has bent the gnomon in anger over being rejected by the girl. Thus bent, it can never be oriented to True North, and he has lost his moral compass. Later, we see a version of the gnomon as the military insignia on the uniforms of the commander and his soldiers, but distorted and without the hole that allows light to shine through rendering it useless as a compass. When we lose the original intent of a symbol by twisting it into something it is not or by just paying lip service, it no longer has any spiritual meaning. At best it becomes a useless prop, at worst it is used to mislead and manipulate people. Contemporary music is also present: With the phrase "We have passed the moment of Imagine," Dimash reminds us that we are past the sentiments evoked by the song "Imagine" by John Lennon. It is time to stop dreaming about a world of peace and harmony. If we choose life, if we wish for peace, if we want a world without war for our children and grandchildren, we must act and take up the long hard path up the mountain towards the light. It is the only way. The storyline is a very human one: we start as innocents until our hearts are broken, we fail, or our dreams are not realized. If in our pain and disappointment, we turn to anger and blame instead of acceptance, power instead of love, greed and envy instead of generosity, hatred instead of forgiveness, and revenge instead of justice, we sow the seeds for conflicts that can turn into war. The Piper's call is seductive as it promises redress for our grievances, control over our circumstances, and power over those who thwarted us, and this appeals to our wounded ego. However, let's remember that the Piper is a symbolic figure of Death from the Middle Ages, often used as a metaphor for trusting and following charismatic but dangerous and malevolent leaders to certain death. Even if we resist, as the adult Dimash character does, we often employ the same methods and weaponry as the Piper, and thus those who fight back betray peace as well because peace cannot be won through violence. That is the dilemma of those of us who did not start the war, who do not support the war, but are forced to respond in order to defend ourselves and those we love. How can we rid the world of evil without becoming what we fight against? The burning sign "Waldenberg" is a reference to the end of WWII when the US Army destroyed the last of the resistance by the German Wehrmacht close to the end of the war in April 1945 in the part of Germany where I grew up. I have seen the aftermath of war as I was born a few years later when much of Germany was still in rubble. Waldenburg is only 28 miles from my hometown and was completely destroyed as you can see from the picture. Many of the dead in those bombed-out buildings were women and children. The good guys defeated evil but at what price? War is not the answer. We must find better ways to keep evil in check. iowaculture.gov/history/education/educator-resources/primary-source-sets/world-war-ii/american-troops-move-through The last movement is powerful: The cries over the loss of a beloved child and the cries of giving birth to new life are presented as a call-and-response grounded by a powerful Om chant that creates a sacred space, reminding us that death and birth are both sacraments and are interwoven in the tapestry of life. Dimash's vocalization and the pilgrims representing world religions and religious leaders, past and present, walking together shift the narrative toward the final conflict and finally redemption. When Dimash’s character decides to avenge the murder of his daughter, his state of consciousness is reflected in the darkening sky with lightning bolts of anger accompanying the storm of his emotions that buffets the pilgrims and hinder progress. The fog of war obscures the light. When he is killed after exacting retribution, he is dropped back into the "sacred womb" of Earth, the ocean of love and mercy, and is cleansed of the old hatreds and grievances that only bring more death and suffering. He breaks the wheel of endless war and suffering by choosing life. Dimash's scream of “we’re choosing life” is that of giving birth: the old earthly consciousness of an eye for an eye has to die to make way for a new spiritual consciousness that embraces all life. Soul is breaking free to return to its natural state of love and purity as exemplified by the images of the children and the newborn baby. The blowing of the shofar signals God's mercy for humankind when it turns from wrong to right: in the Zohar, the book of Jewish mysticism, it says: “When human beings repent of their sins, they blow the shofar on earth. Its sound ascends On High and awakens the heavenly shofar, and so mercy is aroused and judgment is removed.” Reborn as a leader for peace and love, Dimash's character in the form of his son becomes a spiritual guide for all of mankind on our shared journey up the mountain towards the light of God, however we may interpret or name the divine. We are all on the same path, even if our personal narratives, cultural heritage, race, and spiritual orientations are very different from one another. By focusing on our common destination rather than on our differences, we can walk together in peace and love and mutual respect. Carl Jung wrote: “Knowing your own darkness is the best method for dealing with the darknesses of other people. One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious. The most terrifying thing is to accept oneself completely. Your visions will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.” This is what Dimash has done with this work; he has made the darkness conscious. We can only raise our individual and collective consciousness by bringing to light what needs to be healed in our lives and our world, and then we need to work together to restore wholeness to what is broken and bring about peace and unity, one step at a time. We don’t have to wait. We can start right now. As the hymn tells us: "Let there peace in the world, and let it begin with me." Baraka Bashad. »

HISTORY MADE Dimash has composed a classical Symphonic Tone Poem, acted it, sang it, and set it in movie, not video format catapulting it into 21st century music and art history and stands on the shoulders of the great composer/pianist Franz Liszt, who composed the first one in in the 1800s and changed music forever. I am staggered, every note for every instrument and his voice out of his genius put on paper and played. And acted, And text written And filmed. Listen to the symphony behind the piece.! His virtuosity !! Nothing like this in classical (or modern) music history.

Hi Bob! Thank you for your sincere reaction, your analysis is almost spot on! Have you noticed that Dimash is the main solder right from the very beginning of the war scene, when he was shot in the arm, many people miss that? When I first watched this MV, it broke me, I became very emotional, it was heart wrenching, to say the least!😢 Dimash has worked hard for 3 years composing the music, and around 20 days to make this MV, and it turned out to be his most valuable MV, in the ideological sense, ever made, a real Masterpiece! I believe that Dimash deserves THE NOBEL PEACE PRIZE, for his selfless hard work and tireless efforts, not only for this MV, but for trying to bring the world together in love, peace and harmony, through his music, MVs and many charities he dedicates his time to. He is a Legend and will go down in History. This is my interpretation only: The mini movie is full of symbolisms, it's the story of 3 youths, and the necklace which was made by the young Dimash and shared with his friends symbolizing lifelong friendship and unity. Here is a breakdown of the story, as I see it: 1) Dimash, who was drowning at the beginning and at the end. 2) The Piper, the one who saved Dimash, and who became the leader, and who was killed by Dimash at the end. 3) The young girl, who died in childbirth, became Dimash’s future wife, had two children together; a daughter who was killed by the Piper's army; and the birth of a son at the end, who inherited the necklace from her mother…, they were all torn by the war. I’m choosing life!! 🙏🙏 See you in your next reaction. Love from Canada 💖

This masterpiece has shaken all of us, it is a plea for peace, Dimash scream is a desperate call to think for ourselves and change our sad destiny if we continue to follow mistaken leaders or symbols that just divide us and have made us lose the horizon. Love is the answer to live a better and fair life for everybody. What a pain to see us, as humanity, reflected in this MV. 🥹🥲🌹💔🎤🔝

You are feeling it correctly, he is crying, mourning, I'd say, the lives that are being taken away every minute of every single day. I agree, more than anything it's pro peace. The light, in the end, is peace, something most of us want, life itself if you want, "a final turn to right", of living peacefully under one sky. Regarding his epic voice, I don't think there are adjectives sufficient enough to describe it. Mind-blowing? Phenomenal? Unparalleled for sure) Thank you)

Thank you so much for your thoughtful reaction, Dear. DQ's phenomenal 9-23-22 Almaty live performance of this composition and this MV are prophetic masterpieces of transcendental pro-planet/antiwar art activism & spiritual experiences wherein Dimash issues a sincere, passionate yet heartbreaking call to action to love one another & unite to stop all aggression & to save our Mother Earth, the sacred womb from which all life sprung! Let us shun our failing, self-serving Pied Piper leaders whose lunacy continues to lead us all to our mutual destruction by ignoring our species' fate & the "tightening noose" of climate change, hunger, poverty; by instead wasting time & resources & countless lives by choosing to "lead us to the slaughter" by engaging in these senseless, endless wars! YES! Tons to unpack & dependent upon a person's frame of reference, their interpretation of the video & DQ's meaning will be colored by their own preconceptions & life experiences, etc. The verse that says "share the love, not shares" I believe can also be interpreted to mean "share the love" in real time in meaningful ways person-to-person caring for others & their needs, "not shares" such as empty social media virtual "shares." That's the way I took it anyway. Did you get the verse that said "we have passed the moment of "Imagine?" That's clearly a reference to Lennon's iconic song about the utopia he dreamed of & I personally believe DQ further means that due to the damages we as a species have caused to the planet, we now are passed that moment of plenty & that the "world is [no longer] the feast" & now we must truly work very hard together to overcome our limited, finite resources or "Do we have to starve?" DQ asks us like "what's it going to take" for us to "WAKE UP?" People are actually dying from famine NOW. He proclaims THIS is OUR LAST CHANCE, we must immediately act as there's "not a moment to lose" before the Earth implodes! #TimesUp #ItsTimeToSaveTheEarth We must awaken spiritually. We must raise our collective human consciousness, unite, be as ONE --- live and let live --- & understand our shared fate under our shared sky. "Can we balance on the edge of a fiery grave" with all these competing self-interests & is it even possible to save our future on this planet? To avert our own extinction & achieve that utopian peace we all desperately need to survive as a species so that we might enjoy peaceful, prosperous lifetimes for ourselves & future generations, DQ begs us to #ChooseLife UNITE! Dimash is a empathetic, lyrical genius whose virtuosity serves as a conduit for the pure & wondrous light of Heaven as well as the pain & suffering of our human Hells-on-Earth (many of our own making); he is the most excellent ambassador for a peaceful planet & our survival we could ever envision in his childlike altruistic nature & unconditional love. #WeAreChoosingLife ☸✡☪✝🕉☯☮ #SaveTheEarth 🌏🌍🌎#SaveAllChildren

@suesullivan-miller8872 жыл бұрын
Your Reaction was Amazingly accurate....I always love what you have to say!👍👍👌 Other than the lyrics, this was 100% Dimash's work....the Story, Screenplay, Orchestration, acting_/singing, and he was the Producer. He paid $7Mill. personally for the project. The woman who gave birth was his wife...the childhood Sweetheart, and it was his son who was born just as (Dimash) was dying. He then appears, as a grown man, to continue leading the people towards the light and peace. Also, the little girl who was murdered was their daughter The desert and cliff scenes were shot in Albania, the beach in the middle East...possibly Arabia....the rest at his personal studio complex in Kahzakstan. Dimash is Extremely anti-war and Pro Peace, so you were correct there as well. I think it's Brilliant, and Hope it wins him some awards!! In one line of the song he says " we are past the point of 'Imagine', which is his shout out to John Lennon, one of his idols. The burning wooden sign says Waldenberg...which is a reference to Walden Pond....Dimash is a Literature buff, loves poetry, and has read most of the philosophers throughout history. He can quote Omar Kayam at length.... You do a TERRIFIC JOB and I enjoy you Very Much!!! 💖 -- An American 'Dear'.....🥰

I think Dimash should be nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. Who has spent millions of their own money to make a video/movie that is so powerful and moves people to want peace and not war? People/Dears all over the world believe in Dimash and his message for peace.

Not Dimash. He has not spent millions. The price is unknown but lets be honest, if it was millions I would be wondering what was going on with that money. Its very high production, but it doesnt quite fit.

I love and admire Dimash for all the talent and the work he puts in every song. But this one, as great and haunting as it is, just does not go peacefully through my throat. And that's because, having war so present and disruptive with its all its consequences so close, I cannot forget that he will never, and I mean never, have to face it unless he chooses to. War may be coming to his hometown, and he will never be forced, unlike his fellow citizens, to participate in it. Because he's famous and he's an idol, therefore he and his family will never have to fight, if they don't decide for it actively. He's lucky, he has a choice because of his condition, he's one of a few. All of the others have to do it, one way or another. He can get out of it so simply, and lecture the world about it. That's why I can't just swallow this song. It's a message that flies so high because he can sing it and not actually give a shit about it. It works because he's great as a singer and not average as a human being.

The Commander was the boy who saved Dimash, he chose the Dark Path. Dimash and the girl grew up, got together(married) and chose the Light Path. She gave birth to Dimashes son )who became the Savior of the world) at the same time Dimash was crying over the masacre of his daughter. It is my understanding, from what others have written, that the woman died at childbirth. Sadly, all 3 died. Dimash invested 3 years of his life and 7 Million Dollars to deliver this message to us. We must choose life. STOP THE WARS AND SEEK PEACE.

Big thanks for the reaction. I don't think he talked much at all. The reactions to this video are watched by most of us precisely for the sake of opinion. We wonder who understands and feels this video. It's very difficult to visualize,,, but I think it's this realistic representation that can shake people up, think that maybe tomorrow it could happen in our country if we let it." 300 people worked on this video, Dimash wrote the script, he started composing the music 3 years ago,, he has been wondering since he was a child why people cannot coexist in agreement, peace, why politicians can divide them,,, He is very pro-peace..The music and the sound is amazing,,,you could say we're used to that from him, but no,,, and there's also a lot of new sonic elements in this song that he's never done before. It was a very good analysis, I really enjoyed it, greetings from Hungary

Congratulations on the reaction! Well, some considerations: (1) The artifact that the boy found in the chest and that was transformed into necklaces is a "gnomon", a needle of a solar clock (rustic device for keeping time); (2) The name "Piper" (piper, or piper) is known as a synonym for "dictator", "despot": This originates from the tale of the "Piper of Hamelin" (folk tale rewritten by the Brothers Grim), where a piper was hired to deal with the rat infestation in the city of Hamelin (Germany, 1284). After hypnotizing the mice with his magic flute and drowning them in the River Weser, the artist went to collect the amount due (a coin per head) and was not paid (they claimed he did not present the mice's "heads"). He then hypnotized one hundred and thirty children from the city of Hamelin and locked them in a cave. Well, the "piper" (also called the "rat hunter") has become synonymous with the tyrant who uses hypnotizing speech and leads to death! (3) The term "Imagine" refers to the song of the same name by John Lennon; (4) The final text is part of the document generated at the VII Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, held in Nur-Sultan (Kazakhstan) on 09/14/2022 and was attended by Pope Francis, representing the Catholic Church.
