Think about this..........he is singing this song to the Chinese people. Can you imagine the conviction of hearts about this story of a woman that loved them so much she hid her identity to be a part of them? Dimash is a gift from God sent to teach us love and how music is really meant to be. For me music is going the wrong direction and he is bringing to back to a wonderful direction. He was born to sing if you hear his family talk about the first time he heard music what he did. He is humble and loves every person he sings for. He is a wonderful person. I hope with me others are praying for him.

Yes, Dimash won 2nd place and I understand why. Besides the fact that Dimash is the best singer in the world, Dimash is a man with a giant heart. When he flew to this show, he initially said that for him there was no difference which place he won. Maybe we don’t know a lot of things, but most likely he did the same as he did on the World Best. There is a story on KZbin when Dimash was ill during the show, the doctor told him to be home. And he still went to the show because he was very worried about his friend who also participated in the competition. He quit the World Best show because he found out that he was competing against two young children, one of whom was his very good friend, although his condition for signing the contract was that the children would not participate in the competition. He left the World Best to give the children a chance to win. In China, people had to be without ears so as not to give Dimash first place. But the day after the first song, in the morning, Dimash woke up as China's biggest star.5.000000 views on the Chinese version of KZbin per day. Guards had to be assigned to him. Given his words when he flew to the show, I have every reason to believe that Dimash asked for 2nd place to give his Chinese friend a chance to win the first.

Although he didn’t win the first place in this competition show, the actual winner was calling him “The King” and she would say “listen, the King of the stage is performing” being freaking excited and all☺️. And don’t forget, this show was in China, the country that would never give away the first place to a foreigner that was not even that famous before! Just after that year of competition, Jessy J was another foreigner, but already very well known and she was armed to teeth with lawyers and staff, being ready to sue Chinese show for every unprepared movement lol! So they understood she was not joking around and the gave her the first place! Dimash in the other hand just took the whole world’s love in his hands without any lawyers or fancy contracts)) Our humble guy!🇰🇿🤍

If you listen to “Daybreak “ which is based on a true story of a child whose parents sacrificed their lives to save their child, sung from the child’s view, you’ll hear again the truth of Dimash’ emotions and talent. Also, “Samaltau”, Tokyo Jazz 2020, is even closer to Dimash. The song is again based on a true story of a young Kazakh man, conscripted by the Czar in 1917 to fight for Russia and is forced to leave his home. Dimash shows yet another side of his ability to adapt to the lyrics, and no longer be a singer, but a storyteller. You can FEEL the emotion through his vocals. Yes, Dimash came in 2nd place. He was the first non-Chinese competitor on the show, and they couldn't let him win. It wouldn't look good. Dimash said he hoped to finish in the top 10, but in the end, he was the biggest winner of all. You don't hear about any of the other competitors going on world tours, do you? And yes, there was so much flak from his fans, a foreigner (Jessie J) WAS allowed to win in 2018. Looking forward to your next Dimash "experience"!!!

I completely understand when you mentioned the comment that Dimash is something that happens to you. He's more of an experience, and one that you never regret having! Dimash chooses songs that mean something to him. He internalizes the words to understand them. He's not so concerned with his vocal range, because it's just his tool to convey the emotions and the words of the song to you. One thing I notice as well are his hands. Not only does Dimash paint a picture with his voice, but (and this might be from his classical training) he paints a picture with his hands as he sings. I feel like he sings with his entire body and soul not just his vocal chords. He brings such depth to a song, it's incredible to watch this young man perform. I'd also like to say that Dimash is a humble young person who has a fierce love of family, country, and fans. He tries to live simply and one of his goals is to introduce the beauty and culture of Kazakhstan to the world. Well, he's definitely accomplished that and more! I watched the entire season of "Singer 2017" and all of the other contestants were very welcoming to Dimash. He was away from his country and his family for several months, did not speak their language and very little English at the time...They all treated him like family and called him little brother...Dimash is very good friends with many of them still today! It's a great show with lots of great talent...I highly recommend!

As I understand it, The Singer was a show in China! DIMASH is from Kazakhstan & did not speak Mandarin (he’s studying that language now). The song was in Chinese & he needed to learn it in one week. It’s also a beloved song in China! He did great & got better at later performances. ❤️❤️🙏❤️❤️

Dimash is an extraordinary operatic singer and his repertoire is as diverse as are his superior vocal abilities. To me, he excels most particularly in his supercharged emotional sad songs, where he easily tears up my broken heart.
