This has allways been ne of my favourite Dimash songs, I believe he composed the music, the lyrics in Mandarin are written by a Chinese author, I think at his request. I love the original version performed live in China, he looks like a traveller from the future! Also live versions from his Arnau concerts are wonderful, epic. I think you got it spot on about the tension between his voice and the music,, its like a battle in itself except that his voice is so sweet and pure by contrast with the booming sounds of war. I believe he chooses that beautiful high tone throughout because he is speaking on behalf of children and young people.. Such an incredible song,, and yes he shows his humanitarian side, how many artists choose such a topic? I have always loved your reactions to Dimash, Ive been subscribed from day 1!
