I agree with you 100%. I have been listening to him for four years. Must have heard him 1000s of times if not 10,000s of times. Never get bored with his songs. He puts so much inflection and variations in his songs that you never get bored or enough of them. Thank you for your journey with Dimash.

He composed the music in 2017 after he gained popularity in China. A Chinese poet wrote the lyrics to it according to what Dimash wanted them to be like. Peace was already a matter to him when he started to become popular. He is such a great artist and wonderful human being with an old soul.

BRAZIL - Spectacular Daniel, thank you! Do you know why Dimash is so amazing? Why do you dedicate yourself 100% to your performances? Because he is sincere, true when he sings, because he has loved singing since he was born, he feels what he sings and shows it completely... I love this version of the digital program, but what impacts me most is the Ukraine-Kiev version- 03.2020.. Seeing that beautiful audience, applauding, long before the war happened, moves me a lot. I think that because of everything that the Kazakh people went through, since they were dominated by the USSR, until independence, it must have influence for Dimash, as millions died, from hunger or when they tried to fight for freedom, they were executed, a strong reason to be against the War, which began between their compatriots from the past. Dimash will always be for PEACE.

Thank you Daniel for this video I thought I seen all of Dimash songs and this blows me away. Dimash hates war and in his concerts he talks about peace and some of his interviews he talks about the care and love for children. If everyone in the world felt like Dimash we would live in a better world.

Love this song. So relevant. His songs always have a message & that's one of the reasons he won't sign to a record company, because he says he sings what his heart wants & couldn't be told "You have to sing this or dress like that". Димаш не просто великолепный певец, композитор, музыкант, он Человечище с чистым, мудрым, добрым и неравнодушным сердцем. Музыку к этой песне он написал в совсем юном возрасте, посмотрев по телевизору новости и под впечатлением от этих новостей сразу создал эту музыку, а слова к песни уже позже написал китайский поэт. Если не ошибаюсь, "Война и мир" стала темой магистрской диссертации Димаша по композиции и он защитил её с наивысшим баллом и получил рекомендацию в докторантуру. ❤

Thank you for another great reaction. I loved your opening remarks and also your ending analysis of Dimash’s ability to own each song he sings. I first saw War and Peace when he performed it in Kyiv in 2020 just before the pandemic shutdown.. when I hear this song now I can still see the happy faces of the audience and wonder about their fate. The song resonates with every nation and every conflict. Who pays the price? Who will stop any of the fighting, the dying, the tears? I wish this song could be played everywhere all the time.

I love this song, unfortunately he's taken it out of the concert rotation in favour of The Story of One Sky but it's one that I play on a daily basis and I prefer this heavy rock edge that he gives it in the online concert. It was part of his masters degree thesis so it's not surprising that he achieved a perfect score.

Dimash composed this epic song while still a student. I prefer his Kyiv performance....what has happened to all the Ukrainians watching Dimash sing War and Peace, with no way of knowing what horrors would lie ahead for their country..... ? A song you may not have come across yet but which IMHO is one of Dimash's most beautiful is The Meaning of Eternity, based on ancient Chinese poetry with the most exquisite lyrics and Dimash's incomparable voice.
