He is from Kazakhstan, sings in over a dozen languages (this one was French), sells out arenas and stadiums all over the world in cities like Moscow, London, Prague, Hong Kong, and New York (where he sold out Barclay Center in December of 2019) and routinely draws fans from 65-70 countries no matter where he is performing. I grew up listening to heavy rock/metal, then in 2018 I first heard of Dimash. In 2019 I flew from Amsterdam to New York to see him live. The show he put on just blew me away. I'd never heard a voice like his in my life, When he did his version of Diva Dance (from the 5th element movie) I was hooked. Like you said, it's not the sort of music I ever listened to, but he changed that for me. If you can, check out "Diva dance" and have your mind blown.

The videos on his channel have subtitles in many languages, including English. Just turn them on! Most of the lyrics of his songs are meaningful. About a genre, Dimash sings in different styles, different genres. He chose to be an independent artist, until know he refused signing with any major record label, so he could sing wherever he wants, and only what he wants. You say this isn't what you might gravitate to music-wise, but, Diamsh is not a one-trick pony. I hope you venture further into his music. He is not just a singer with a good voice. That, my friend, is your introduction to the most technically skilled singer alive today. He has a massive fan base worldwide, people fly in from up to 60 different countries for his large concerts. He is less well known in the west than he should be because he is an independent artist who will not sign with commercial labels. He has his own production team and sets the bar very high in all his work. I would suggest Stranger next, New Wave 2021. It’s in English and has an epic Game of Thrones sort of vibe. Thank you for discovering Dimash and welcome to a beautiful world of music. Dimash is a 29-years old singer from Kazakhstan and believe me, you’ve seen nothing at all. In my opinion you have discovered the best singer in the world. He has perfect pitch and currently has a vocal range of 6 octaves. Not in one song (mostly anyway😅). However, if you include the notes he has sung live in his concerts so far, you get almost 8 octaves (7.7 from vocal fry C1 (B0) to the whistle register D8; this note is no longer on the piano). At least that's what he's shown us so far. And this in all registers (chest, mixed and head voice up to the whistle register). The transitions from one register to the other are so fluid that they are sometimes not recognized even by vocal coaches or professional singers. His voice is the result not only of his God-given talent, but also of his almost 25 years of daily hard training. From the age of 5 he attended music school in his hometown of Aktobe. He plays several instruments like piano, dombra (a kazach instrument), drums, marimba and more. He has classical as well as contemporary vocal training and sings in different genres from opera to pop, jazz, Kazakh folk, ballads and he even raps a bit. And often he skillfully mixes several genres in one song. Mainly classic and pop, so he created a new crossover genre. And meanwhile in more than 10 languages. And at his concert in Almaty, Kazakhstan on September 23, 2022 he sang in 7 languages in one concert! And at his concert in Yerevan on April 29, 2023, he sang an Armenian folk song for the first time (it has to be about 16 or 17 languages so far). He sings no mainstream and is a completely independent artist. He is managed by his father Kanat, who founded his own company "DimashAli Creative Center". The logo can be seen at the beginning of many of Dimash's videos. Maybe that’s the reason you never heard of him yet. He doesn’t sell his soul to a music label. He doesn’t want to be dictated by money when he has to sing what, when, where and how. Many of my favorite songs are in his native tongue. He is a nice, intelligent, respectful and humble person. He respects people regardless of their original, religion or profession. He truly loves his homeland Kazakhstan and his people with all his heart and always shows it with pride in many of his songs, concerts and interviews. During his concerts in Dubai, Düsseldorf and Prague in 2022, before he performed his song War And Peace, he told the audience he loves all people in every country. And there are no bad nations (only bad leaders). And I absolutely believe this. His concert in September 23, 2022 in Almaty, Kazakhstan was so amazing and it lasts almost 4 hours. Believe it or not but he really gets better and better. Every time you think you know him and his art, you realize you are so wrong. He's very spiritual and thankful for the gift God has given him. But he also works very hard to constantly improve his vocal skills. He said in an interview that he trains at least 3 hours every day, if necessary, it can be 10 hours to prepare for a concert. He loves swimming and also a lot under water. Maybe that's why he has this large lung capacity to hold the notes as long as he does. He's a singer you can't put in any box. He sings almost every genre there is. Every time you watch a video, expect the unexpected. Even the covers he sings he makes his own and brings elements into the song that you would never expect. Don't be surprised if you get suggestions for songs you may have already seen. Dimash has different versions of many of the same songs. They are all worth seeing. Not only is he perfect at singing and performing, he's also an incredibly good actor. Check out his music videos. They are amazing. You think I’m exaggerating? No, I don’t think so😄. He sang this song on his digital concert in January 2021 during the pandemic. He had to cancel his tour and did this concert for his Dears/fans. That’s why there was no audiende to be seen or heard. SOS is a song in the rock-opera „Starmania“ from 1978. The first who presented this song was the French singer and songwriter Daniel Balavione. The last quiet phrase means „Sleep, child, sleep“ and is sung in the musical as the character bends over the corpse of his girlfriend, who has committed suicide SOS was the first performance of the China competition (in 2017) and was his first appearance in this show. The Singer is a show in China where only established singers are invited to perform. All the singers invited to this show are already well-known artists in China who have already won awards. Dimash was invited as the first foreigner as a wild card and the youngest in the history of this show. They became aware of him because he had already won some important competitions in Kazakhstan and Belarus, among others. He was still completely unknown in China. Actually, it was intended that he would only have 1 or 2 appearances. But it came completely different. When he woke up the next morning after his first performance of SOS he was a megastar in China and even found bodyguards outside his hotel room. SOS’ first video had 600 million views when it aired. He was just 22 years old at the time. Please also react to The Singer competition as soon as you can. If you want to see another jaw-dropping song than I recommend Stranger. But you have to be careful with this video. It gets blocked a lot. I get goosebumps every time I hear it. I’m glad you discovered Dimash and I hope you continue to react to videos of him. Because he has his own production company, he isn't limited by the established music industry. He is free to experiment and try new things. Thank you for trying out some Dimash! He's an absolute gem Dimash doesn't have a style except for Dimash style :') He doesn't confirm to one genre. He just does what he does and tells stories through his music. He is so talented, he can draw tools from any register, technique, genre to fit his story telling and the emotion he tries to protray. Which is why you'll see in his songs that he mixes many tools from different corners of the music world. This man stands for kindness, tolerance and world peace. Like you've read in the comments, he has sung in many languages (often in one concert, which often last between 3-4 hours. People aren't sure how many he has sung in by now but it could be 17?). He is also heavily involved in directing some of his music videos. He plays multiple instruments as well which is always a treat when he does

Димаш Гений,уж не говоря о том что он занимается музыкой с пяти лет и закончил бы музыкальную школу, колледж по классическому пению закончил Казахский Национальный институт получил диплом бакалавра,эстрадно джазовое пение.Дальше получил диплом магистра,а сейчас учится в докторантуре .Димашу в Казахстане в 2023 году присвоили звание Народного Артиста. Он сам сочиняет музыку. Победитель многих международных конкурсов. Димаш замечательный человек с большим сердцем и его любят не только за его уникальный голос но и за то что он очень хороший Человек. Dimash Qudaibergen (di-MOSH Koo-dye-BEHR-gen) is a talented artist from Kazakhstan who began his formal training at the age of 5. He is professionally trained in opera, contemporary music, and musical theater. His diverse discography includes genres such as pop, R&B, EDM, rock, folk/traditional, neo-classical, opera, and even rap and hip-hop with a vocal range of 7+ octaves: C1-D8(which doesn't exist on a standard 88-key piano). You don't have to like Dimash Qudaibergen (aka Dinmuhammed Qanatuly Qudaibergen), but you do have to know him. The human voice covers eight octaves, and Dimash can master seven of them. He just can't do the deepest one. Higher than the eighth octave is also possible, but the human ear can no longer tell the tones apart and only hears a whistle. He sings here in French because the song comes from the French musical Starmania. Dimash himself comes from Kazakhstan, south of Russia, in Central Asia. The state was formerly part of the Soviet Union. It is sparsely populated and mainly exports raw materials of all kinds. Like many countries in this region, the past is glorious, the present is rather sad. Dimash's parents are professional musicians, he himself studied singing and composition. He became internationally known primarily through his performances at Chinese competitions in 2017. His repertoire is as extensive as his voice. Unfortunately metal is not one of them ;-) His name is also spelled Kudaibergen, in China Dí Mǎ Xī. He also plays piano, dombra, drums, guitar, marimba and bayan. He speaks Russian and Kazakh (which is related to Turkish), English and Mandarin as a foreign language. He has sung in 13 languages so far.

Being a vocal song, a pure masterpiece, the magic of Dimash's voice is unleashed in the ether and is the fire that burns the soul and heart through love, beauty, elevation and purity. The cello is enchanted and embraces the essence of Dimash's voice as in a perfect symbiosis, and the vocal chords transport you to another dimension.Second: From my point of view, I cannot make a top ranking of Dimash's songs, the original ones, regardless of the composer (Igor, Dimash or someone else), leaving aside the covers. I come back to the idea, so I can't make a top. Why? Simple: each song by Dimash has a different theme, a different melodic line, different feelings, different tonalities. Each track is unique in lyric, interpretation, musical essence and message. If you listen to one, you like it more, if you listen to another, you like it even more, you can't decide because you can't. There are pieces with a religious touch, patriotic pieces, pieces of love, pieces of courage etc. If in an interview Dimash was asked what song he likes, I don't know what answer he would give... The way I found to celebrate the majesty of Dimash's talent was to have written the following about him: If I were to rule the world, I would immediately add, to the universal declaration of human rights, another article (they would become 31) whose wording would next "All human beings have the right, at least once in their lives, to hear Dimash sing". I am a Professor and I believe that I have a special profession that allows me to transform the human heart and consequently the human society. I work with young people and young people need to have good references. I had been looking for someone for a long time, of whom I could speak to the young people I work with, as a good reference. That person should be young, a super talent, a super mega star in the art world and above all, because he is the most important, a good human person. I searched and never found anyone with these characteristics. Until, finally, I found this person and that person is Dimash. I had the opportunity to say this to Dimash, personally, when I was with him in Latvia where I went, coming from Portugal (there are 8000 km round trip), on the 7th of March 2020. First his name is said like your channel name dee-mosh, no mashed potatoes. Second although Dimash doesn't do screamo type music, he does sing various genres and in various languages, this one was French. And if you grab a video from his channel, there are CCs for the songs, sometimes not for the chatter before/after performance. The digital show was done during the pandemic, when large groups of people were not allowed to be together, but Dimash wanted to perform and help out some charities. If you noticed, in the beginning there was a charity logo on the screen. Part of proceeds went to food banks.

Dimash sings just about any genera but American Country. Classically trained from age five in both vocals and instruments and also trained in contemporary vocals, SOS is from a 1970''''s French Rock Opera. Kazakhstan is in the Eurasian Steppe and Dimash is Eurasian. Tall and handsome, he is not just the singer with the widest rang in the world, he also is a male clothing model, also a model for fine cars, fine men's clothing, and numerous other ads. He does not settle for second best. He is a complete perfectionist in every way. He was raised in ancient Kazak Muslim traditions with high moral values and the ancient tradition of The Giving of a first born son. His parents, entertainers as well, gave Dimash to his paternal grandparents to raise for 10 years. A better question than "how does he do it" is, "who is Dimash". The who explains the how: Who is Dimash? I, and a few others, call him the singer of the millennia because the range of musical genres, and his vocal range, are like no other. From Kazakhstan, beginning his singing career at age 5 (he's 29 now, 2023), Dimash was accepted into the most distinguished music academy in his country. The world became aware of him in 2017 (when he was 22), during and after a Chinese singing contest called "Singer". His first digital music album "ID" went platinum in only 37 seconds after release, and 3x platinum in only one hour, and 5x platinum in only one day on Chinese music platforms In December 2019, he made his US debut in New York at the Barclays Center. He holds multiple degrees in music and is working on his PHD in Musicology. He sings in 13 languages. He plays 8 instruments and sings 7 octaves. He sells out worldwide. The reason you haven't heard of him is because he's basically his own manager. He won't allow companies to control him. He's a singer, song writer and Composer. If you stay with Dimash you'll see Igor Krutoy. He's a retired Russian billionaire Composer who saw Dimash in concert then came out of retirement just to work with Dimash. He performs in opera, popera, rock, traditional Kazahk and even raps. He's being called the best in the world. His fanbase is huge, worldwide and the most devoted. He's a great humanitarian.
