He wanted/needed exposure to the American music market. He had a tour of the USA coming up, so it was a form of promotion. Notice - if you listen/view the I AM SINGER performances of these songs, how the producers of this show made him truncate the songs to fit into the advertising allotted singer's time limit! Both Faith Hill and RuPaul are completely self-obsessed and arrogant Americans (and I write this as a seriously embarrassed American!). Maybe Faith was jealous because he was so much more beautiful than she?? How rude and condescending her comment that he "needed" to do more than "just" put on a show!! "As a vocalist" is the KEY phrase - she would never have the guts to get up on stage with Dimash as she could never, on her best day, come anywhere near meeting Dimash on his worst day.

At last, now the 10th of December all the world will see to Dimash in his concert in New York, and his detractors will se why he is the best soinger in thre world. The culture of Kazahkstan is for respect; he abandoned the comptetition to give children an opportunity, and some juries mock of him and insulted for that. Thanks God today he have a lot of fans in all the world, including USA. All thre singers are pretty good, but he is the best.

this man has nothing to prove at this point. I just hope he is able to keep performing for as long as he can manage to stay in his prime conditioning. doing what he does required a lot training and staying in that level of vocal competence is an entire ordeal of its own. I appreciate the reality we all get to bask in his prime.

Exactly!!! That British producer makes me feel embarrassed by association to be British!! 😖 He’s biased with the genre he likes. He shouldn’t be in the music business then!! 🤬🤬 I come from 3 generations of professional singers and musicians (both my parents, uncles, aunts and cousins are too, myself included). My parents have always exposed me to a variety of genres, and appreciate different styles of singing.... So, it F***ing angers me how these two “so-called judges “ are being mean & jealous!! The Danish girl is a ballerina, WTF does she know about singing!! Grrr 😡 I’m so glad Dimash withdrew from this joke!! He doesn’t need to prove ANYTHING!! Danish people do this often, I had a classmate who was perfect in math, the best in our class. He got B instead of A... and the reason: “because he was too perfect” like wtf is the point of hard work! lol (and yes, I studied in Denmark)

You should be as objective as possible if you're a judge. Otherwise you'd be discrediting someone talent/skill just off of preference which isn't fair. That's like me only liking black people and when a white person performs I judge with a discriminatory bias. That's what's going on here but the discrimination is of musical genre, the top right guy said himself that he has an affinity for punk rock sound so he didn't connect with the operatic performance of Dimash. Perfection should = the best. Otherwise you're just trying to go against the grain.

It takes years of technical training and practice, practice, practice to reach the threshold of perfect. If perfect is not the best it's because you leave open for something better and that is subjective not objective. The measure here are other contestants and he blew them off the map.

That woman from Denmark was not moved because he didn't sing the full song. She should check out his full performance of SOS and I'd love to see then if she still feels the same. This cut version removes a lot of the buildup of emotions from the song. It's rushed way too much.

Dimash indeed has the highest score. How ? 48 of the judges gave 50 score 1 one jury admitted publicly that she was freeze and admitted vocally that dimash was sang perfectly and this must be considered 50 score. The other one was abstained. If the majority of the judges gave 50 scores for dimash then the head judge will determine this a perfect score too. There are two kinds of judgement written and verbal and these must be confirmed by" hymns of justice for correction. "

I thought the judges have the prerogative to vote or not. I don't find it reasonable to say "SHAME" on them for deciding not to favor for the contestant (Dimash - who also happens to be one of my favourite performers, is already IN anyways with more than the required score)... Now, I am starting to wonder what this show is really all about. If this is how it goes, then this "World's Best" doesn't need any judges at all! It really seems to me now that the judges from the other parts of the world are just like nothing but "ornaments" and that their part of the scoring is not relevant.

I don't think it was cool that James would put any of those judges on the spot like that. There needs to be some kind of anonymity involved to prevent this from happening. All this does is put undue pressure to an already tense situation. Judges won't have the true freedom to vote and would only do so to prevent retribution from others.

Lady from Denmark gave good, reasonable opinion that I respect but the quote of UK guy "if you can it doesn't mean you should" is like WTF? @@despicable6545 he gave his opinion and everyone is crucifying him as if he made a statement of fact. You can disagree with someone but still be able to respect him/her. But to utterly point a finger at a person and publicly castrate him by saying "Shame! Shame! Shame!" that is absolutely classless and unprofessional. Faith Hill even sensed this as being highly inappropriate when she pleaded James to come down and stop what he is doing. You can hear it in her voice that she was utterly embarrassed as to what he was doing.
