I think the US music industry is afraid of Dimash, I mean, how would you like your song to follow any of Dimash's. Most performers in the US are amateur's, can't hold a note. Dimash sings in almost every genre of music. From Opera to rap, he does it all, so how do others stand a chance?

I believe one of the reasons Dimash is not famous in the States ois because of what happened on "The World's Best". He basically left the competition mid-way because he was not told he'd be competing against children, and that is just not done in Khazakstan. The composer of "Your Love" is Igor Krutoy, he is playing piano on stage. He came out of retirement to compose for Dimash and he is having a ball. He is a very successful composer, which made him the richest musician on the planet.

Dimash is to voice what Michelangelo is to art. The world does not have a recorded artist that has ever been as capable in all forms of vocal interpretation. As a Doctor of musical arts and science, it is my humble opinion that Dimash is a gift long-awaited and in need by the world. Aware or not, Dimash is far more than an entertainer, he is a healer for those in desperate need of reconnection. Perfect resonance, perfect balance in an unbalanced world.

He is known to the U.S through his fan base.. He has appeared here twice. - once in New York (12/19) for the 65th birthday celebration of one of his mentors - Igor Krutoy... and once for the disastrous CBS show "the World's Best" - whose producers lied to him about competing with children... whenceforth he withdrew from competing..... BUT ANYWAY - he wants/needs the rights to have creative control of his content. He will not "sell out". He has his own production studio/administration Dimashali Productions... so the U.S. "power companies" will never control him. And therefore his American full debut will be down the road. He is the best vocalist in the world; and one day - he will claim that title, including in the U.S.

There are two gifts. Dimash & Igor. You will learn it. (The bald man at the piano & composer of dozens of his songs, as this one). He had a concert a New York, and CBC built a "World's Best" show around him, but they turned into a circus, with competing with a one-handed violinist, children in diapers, and had to cut the songs into a 2 minute sessions. He just walked away. As I said, I have you on the bell, but it didn't ring. I found it in the recommended. Waiting.

Grandfather played professional dombra, grandmother was a teacher and sings. His parents are Kanat Aitbayev and Svetlana Aitbayeva. Years ago, I saw, 2 older, established European critics watch a tape of his singing and they just sat silently at the conclusion. Finally, one said... that's the guy. The other said what guy ? He said thoughtfully, the guy years from now, someone will say, I just heard the most unbelievable, incredible singer in the world !! and someone else will say, unbelievable Dimash or ? and another will say,, nah nobody's unbelievable Dimash, badass maybe but hey, Dimash..more like....he stopped, they looked at each other, smiled ruefully, nodded..he's the one...looking down, shook their heads, like you don't know yet, but it won't be long and it's second place in the world of performers for all of you guys and they were very serious, I'll never forget it.

The problem with DIMASH is that he doesn’t want to sing with the big music companies in the states. He wants to be able to sing what he wants where he wants. So his business are done by his father and mother, she is an amazing opera singer and he sings with her and dad, he has move little by little true Asia. Wants he did the Chinese show, by the way they stole that show. But at the end he gat want he want it, now more people knows who he is and he has done a couple of live shows. They said that watching this guy live is to die for, he had a show in NYC but I didn’t knew who he was and miss it. If you go to his KZbin channel you will find the videos of all his shows. A by the way you should had started to listen to him with the song sos don’t watch the one from China, he sang it on his web show he gave after the stupid virus, but he is amazing on it. I will recommend you for you to find this girl from Russia ( she is good please give her chance, you won’t regret it) she went on a show in Russia that she won. Her name is: DIANA ANKUDINOBA star with falling in love, the Elvis song, you are going to die. I bet you have never her a voice like hers and coming out of her mouth. She is incredible ! You will enjoy her!

"Dimashified" is the term for becoming an instant Fan {Dear} ! Great appreciation of a great talent. 😊👍 Dimash likes to play across all genres & the breadth of his talent prohibits being confined to just one. There are a number of key factors which I observe have slowed his recognition in the English-speaking music world. 1) is the habituation of listeners over the past 3+ decades to narrow genres. " That's not my 'Lane'!/ Wheelhouse" etc. 2) a hesitancy to listen to songs in other languages " that I won't understand" 3) his insistence on crafting music & performance FIRST for 'Storytelling' & artistic perfection -rather than primarily for commercial success. He did commence expansion into the US and UK markets with his first London and New York Concerts held just before the pandemic shut everything down. Dimash then moved to consolidating, completing his post graduate musical studies, composing, collaborating with many other renowned composers and artists, setting up / further developing his own studios & production teams, establishing his on-line presence, producing several video clips, developing and presenting his massive Digital Show { Concert }... Plus learning more songs in more languages! ... and that's just for starters! You're right; Dimashs voice is a Gift to the world, but I believe - as do many others - that Dimashs Greater Gift is his capacity to make people understand that Great Music transits all language, all land and cultural boundaries and connects people directly. We all understand immediately and intimately exactly what Dimash is conveying regardless of what song & which language. He points out that we all feel the same, and this is such an important message in today's still terribly divided so-called 'Global Village'.

Why he isn't more widely known? - he is and isn't. The professional music world is very much aware of him and he has millions of fans literally all over the world, who travel just to see him even overseas. But... he is classically trained but decided not to pursue an opera career. At the same time he does not fit the mainstream popular music industry neither as he is focusing on complex meaningful music, mixing classic, pop, traditional music, whatever fits often within one song. He created a ganre of his own and I am glad because it would be sin in my opinion to "waste" such a voice and skills on mainstream pop songs just to fit in.

It has been frustrating to those of us who are fans in the US that he has not been "showcased" here, as you put it, but much of that is on Dimash himself as he has chosen to maintain control over his creativity, much of which might be diminished if he were to sign with an American record label that might prefer to turn him into Michael Jackson. He does desire to one day win a Grammy, though, and has been in communication with US producers and hopefully one day soon there will be deal that gets Dimash the exposure in the western world that he so richly deserves. In the meantime, we'll all just have do what we can to expose him to our friends and neighbors and hope that the masses will eventually see what we Dears already see in him.

The stage was the State Kremlin Palace in Russia and the style of singing you mentioned is called in Italian “Staccato” marked by short clear-cut playing or singing of tones or chords and it is difficult to do specially if you are singing high notes. Lara Fabián and Igor Krutoy are the songwriters of the song for Dimash’s beautiful and powerful voice. This is the premiere of the song on March 7, 2020, in Moscow. the event is dedicated to Russian fashion designer Valentin Yudashkin. The melody of this song with the cry of the violins, the bayan, which is a type of chromatic button accordion developed in Russia, plus Dimash gentle and nostalgic voice touches very deep your emotions, it is gorgeous! I wonder too why Dimash still haven’t got a Grammy? If the Academy recognize "Outstanding Achievement in the music industry" what’s going on here??? Dimash rightly, does not wish to sign up with a U.S. music conglomerate, because he is an artist in his own right, and will not give up his artistry to a commercial company. So the idiots who run the show here, are not interested in letting him be his own boss. He has his own production company. I am so happy I have found your channel. Because I am old and alone most of the time, I like to watch Dimash with YT reactors. It is just more fun to watch with someone else. I rate reactors on the scale of "would I invite this person to my home to watch Dimash with me?" Do you prefer coffee or tea?

I'm so glad I subscribed to your channel after your first Dimash reaction! Some remarks on what you said in your reaction: "I am a Singer" is a high prestige competition for professional and well established Chinese singers. Dimash was a foreigner, unknown in China, and only 22 years old in 2017. One of the producers had heard Dimash sing in Kazachstan, and got permission to include him in the show as a "wild card". No one could predict that he would conquer China with his first performance, SOS. He didn't win the competition (14 episodes), since the rules didn't allow it, but he certainly wan the hearts of the people and became a huge star in China overnight! Your love was written for Dimash by the popular Russian composer Igor Krutoy, who also accompanies here Dimash on the piano. The lyrics were written by Lara Fabian, the famous Belgian-Canadian singer and songwriter, who has profoundly influenced Dimash's way of performing. Dimash has collaborated with Igor Krutoy since 2018, and in 2019 he performed "Ti amo cosi" together with Lara Fabian and Aida Garifullina in Igor Krutoys 65th birthday gala concert. Performing on stage together with Igor Krutoy and Lara Fabian had been a cherished dream of Dimash since childhood. Greetings fom Finland.

He sold out the Barclay Ctr , in under 3 hrs, 2 1/2 yrs ago here. As I have told people , just discovering him.... Most of the Music producers don't want to have hm over here, because he is so much better than so many of the singers in America. Get used to being surprised almost every time you see a video of him.
