It’s not like this is the headliner and this festival goes all the way to midnight. I can go find a midday Tomorrowland set on KZbin from any year and it’ll be the same type of crowd at points. Clearly you’ve never been to ultra too considering Europeans make up a large percentage of the ultra attendees. It’s one of the biggest international festivals. To call this crowd out just makes you look like a hypocrite

Back in the early 2ks there used to ba a 100% DnB stage at these nig festivals. Damn near died outside of parties with 300-400 heads max in most cities for UK headliners. BUT the mainstream is getting really boring and even the BIG deejays tend to play what "the people want to hear/like" instead of showing something new every year. Nobody is brave enough or unique... A big festival like ULTRA would be a perfect showcase, but they don't seem to take the risk. Tiesto has been using the same intro for 5-7 years and the tracks are more or less the same every year. That just makes me throw up. There are other djs like him. He is not the only one. (I am a big old-Tiesto fan by the way.) I liked Armin Ultra set last year, but this year it was a mess (The Bon Jovi part was especially "cringy". Check it for yourself... 😄 On the other hand, I do like what James Hype technically does on the stage. He worked a lot to become popular and don't think there is anyone else who is that talented and BIG in the scene right now. Personally, I don't like the type of songs that He plays, but loads of people do so I don't understand why He didn't make Ultra... Probably I am just old and at the end of the day most of the people just want to have fun/get drunk/get high and listen music when they go to a festival like this. So I guess this is fine anyways...
