A great way to learn English is to do it with construction terminology - Where are you from Orest. Maybe we will make a version with metric conversions.

not in all cases - in framing it is best to avoid cutting them when possible

You would have to check your local code if they call our fastener requirements.

Does the weight define strength? Hemlock v Fir.

weight is not always an indication of strength, it could be just green and wet. Always refer to the engineering tables often available in the code books for the task you are doing.

Will more wood be processed rather than raw material? Scandinavians manufacture LVL. Cheaper, precise and stronger. Zero waste.

engineered lumber has many performance features going for it - they are also making engineered framing lumber for studs. I think you will see it on the rise. But it is more expensive.
