Just so you know, 8 Gen 3's prime and performance cores are clocked more aggressively than Dimensity 9300, and an X4 core running above 2 GHz is already more efficient and performs better than an A720 running above 2.75 GHz running above. The idea is that the X4 cores can run at lower frequencies to match the A720's performance at higher frequencies all while drawing less power. Geekerwan already did an analysis and the results show that the 9300 in Mediatek's prototype has better CPU and GPU than the 8 Gen 3 in Xiaomi 14 and is still more power efficient.
