the FH flip kill of ZQ completely demolished DO and not to mention his other skills i.e. serves and unreal physical agility and reflexes. Think his ranking gonna go up quite a bit from here. Simply put, there are too many gr8 unknown Chinese players out there that can beat the world's top ten at any given tourney!

This win by Zhou is another example why the world rankings meaning very little for the Chinese National Team. They simply have to many deep talents from their B and C teams which can quickly stepping up to take the positions from the top A team members, should they be either too old, too injured or simply not in the top form. As well, all of their coaches were former World, Olympic and ITTF Major Title winners. They are detail oriented and match experienced to impart valuable knowledge to give them the extra edge to win. Until other teams can emulate the same Table Tennis system as China, it would be extremely difficult to consistently upset them in the foreseeable future. Even with the constant equipment changes by the ITTF to disrupt their reign at the top.

A match I was really looking forward to. I was hoping for a big battle, but didn't really come out that way. Zhou Qihao displaying remarkable patience, touch and versatility. He's not a specialist, he can play all kinds of opponents and solve them. I bet the only players in the world he can't solve are the top 3 in the CNT.

The end of Chinese dominance is a wrong presumption. There are so many young players who can easily beat players like Dima or Liam Pitchford. So... it’s not easy to break the Great Wall of China.

ZQH wrecked Dima. Dima can't be missing smashes, he gave up all of game 2 after he kissed that smash. And in the last set after he missed that smash, he lost his focus

all those people commenting Dima is not playing his top level have to realise that is complete bullshit, this is his NORMAL 100% form he just beat pitchford 4-1 who is another very promising player from England. Also there are PLENTY of unknown players from China that can beat Dima and other top European players if they had the opportunity of competing on the World stage. Also Dima's style is too aggressive for his normal form, often he makes too many unforces errors, ppl have to realize that 2017 was when he was playing 150% when all of his ultra aggressive but normally low % shots landed in but that is not Dima's Normal form.

@@inyourface123 I was a little surprised he played this way too, beating Pitch 4-0 and YunJu 4-1 is the best one can get from either ML or FZD, I think he was playing too safe, he has to attack the Chinese to win, the best matches he's played against them he'd attacked, And he couldn't handle Qihao's reverse pendulum serve especially
