It’s helpful for sure! The small ones are also good value! I gave one to my father in law as he’s a home inspector and he really likes them for looking under sinks for leaks etc.. thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts.

Actually, 5000k is way closer than 4000k to natural daylight. Natural light comes in at 5,600 Kelvin. Thanks for your review on these.

I’ll be darned! You’re right! I guess I’m so used to shooting at sunset/evening as a photographer/videographer that hazy afternoon light is warmer. I guess I should have clarified! Thank you for keeping me honest!

Do you know if the koda led dimmable lights work and are dimmable off a dimmable wall switch? Or are they only dimmable when using the remote

Good question! I don’t have an honest answer as to whether they would work in that case or not. I bet you could contact someone off the website and ask!

I have a set of 5 in my garage, unfortunately the motion detection gets triggered CONSTANTLY without any actual movement. So randomly throughout the day/night 2 or 3 of them will light up. Also the outlet in the light is always on, it would have been nice for it to turn on/off with the light.

Great feedback Jon, mine seemed to work well when it came to the motion sensitivity turned down a bit (maybe that is the problem?). I also only tried it for a short time as I prefer to mount the remote on the wall by the door and turn the motion sensors off and use the switch/remote for my on/off selections.

@@WoodNerds I read online that some people were having issues with interference (like an LED bulb, or the garage door opener (while being idle), never could find the root cause so I just ended up mothing them to my carport and switched to the pull chain ones.

I’ve heard about that as well! These ones haven’t been a problem for me. I tried out my Bluetooth speaker, my garage door opens fine, I used an ir remote for my camera as well as my wireless mic receiver/transmitter all without issue so far.

Any interference with you 5G wifi?

I’ve read people have that problem! I haven’t had any issues with smaller devices (phone, Apple Watch, etc…) I did notice my laptop wasn’t holding a connection to my network a while back but it’s hard to say it was interference or distance… from what I understand, 5G is short range and from my router to the garage is kinda stretching it. Sorry if that’s not very helpful haha.

A shame about the temperature selection. For me it's 6500k or nothing. Got used to working under 6500k for miniature painting and now anything else just feels wrong.
