I personally like Dimmu, I don't care what era are you talking about. When this video was shot, they were young and raw. Nowdays, they have different kind of direction to their music and I think it's just as great as the old stuff, just different direction.

I remember when me and my friend were in our early teens, we would go to church youth(I'm 26 now) and we would mess around, I got on the drums and had a sort of Immortal esque black metal drum beat going, and my friend TJ was playing some black metal riffs, dark, tremolo sort esque sounding stuff, just random shit, but it sounded cool. Some people looked at us like wtf? This isn't church music, or modern day hip-hop. Wtf is this!? The looks on their faces, priceless. lol

What about stormblast the album from 1996 before enthrone. Stormblast is the best album from a pure black metal point of view. But yes anything after enthrone is bogus.

Nice oldschool vid!!! I think dimmu's best album is Enthrone Darkness Triumphant... but that's personal.. i think shagrath's voice was at it's best point that album, now he sounds a lot more boring. But it's still a good band!

if you listen carefully in the fast part, and the guitar breakish thing, you can hear Stian on keys - 1:55 - endish. Or it might be Shag, dunno, but it cud be Stian! Shags real name - Stian Stian is Stian Nagashs real name - Stian Wudnt that get confusing??!
