Awesome. I'm hesistating to learn to play bass, but I'm not quite sure if I should do it over guitar. Also I have no idea with whan kind of bass I should begin, 4 strings ? 5 string ? very cheap ? If someone could help me, it could be good.

Hey thanks for your comment! I started on a 4 string bass and later I bought my 5 string. When you want to buy a 5 string for starting with bassguitar it should be no problem. The fifth string will not make any difference in the learning process. If you start with learning guitar or bass is your decision. For the beginning I would recomment to borrow a guitar or bass from a friend to see if playing bass or guitar is the right thing for you. If that is not possible you could buy an isntrument for a very low budget on ebay or some similar website. I hope I helped you a bit. ;)

Thanks a lot mate. I think I'll begin with a 5 strings, so I can experiment more things ; and since my goal is to play 5 strings, I'll be more used to that. I don't have any friend who plays bass or guitar, so I think I'll buy a very cheap one. Thanks a lot for your answer mate. Also did you learned by yourself or with some lessons ? +Fallen Shadow Hey thanks for your comment! I dont know, I think it is the equipment I use. =) Check out the Tech 21 RBI or the Tech 21 VT bass or Tech 21 in general, they have amazing products. Well my Warwick bass does also a lot for that tone.
